Hi You've used a picture of my wonderful Murphy here - he's the one with his paws on Sion my six foot son for context. They are so gorgeous and gentle. Murphy often visits my wife's special needs school for the students to meet and hug. He's so patient with them.
Your Murphy is quite handsome! Our "Frosty" aka Balthorn the Frost Giant, is a mere 125 lbs at just over 2 yrs old. He stands 6 ft tall. (I think he was the runt of the litter but he's perfect in every way❤)
Man, my Dad's neighbour has two of these. And he has an itty bitty papillon. And the little guy always runs circles around them while they look confused as hell. XD

They are amazing dogs. But unfortunately they have a short lifespan because of their size. They only lived to be about 6 years old and are old at about 4
@@cameroncooper9501 I know. They’re Great Danes that way. My Otis’ best friend, Scooby passed a few years ago at 6. Otis is now 10. I pray for as many healthy and happy years as possible.

@@killerkraut9179 You don't actually need a big yard because these dogs are lazy bastards. Take them on a nice walk once a day and they're happy being a couch potato the rest of the time. Now hes my gentle giant ❤❤❤❤❤
Awesome seeing someone put so much energy into socializing their Irish Wolfhound, they can be wary of strangers if you don't put in that work and with how big they are that can be rough
I had a pedigree WH in the late 70’s. About 30 years later I rescued WH crossed with a St Bernard who weighed 92 kg and lived to be nearly 10. When they go it leaves you heartbroken
😂❤ i saw another video about an irish wolfhound.. a lady who owned one was sitting down with her huge dog right beside her.. And a like 4 or 5 year old little girl walked by and said.. "i like your dragon..." 😂😂😂 that cracked me up.. so cute. They sure are gentle giants those irish wolfhounds..❤
They are perfect doggies. Sensitive, loving, always craving attention. I've owned two, and they were literally perfect. And yes, one of them used to love to gently retrieve dog treats from the top of my head as a greeting when I got home from work. I'm 5'11".
I love Irish Wolfehounds!! I had the pl3asure of sharing my life with one 30 years ago and it was awesome... ...watch your table legs when she starts to seriously chew😊
Our last dog was half Irish Wolfhound (other half was Maremma) we thought we missed the chewing phase but suddenly at about a year and a half she started chewing on one corner of baseboards and the living room table leg. The phase passed and we got her more things to chew on... One of my friends family has had three Irish Wolfhounds now there newest one when he entered his chewing phase managed to tear up large chunks of their carpet
But she is so super floppy cute. And at least you know that if anyone has a bad attitude coming in, they will change that attitude seeing her, or run scared screaming.❤
Always said mine was a bag of puppy with no bones when she was young(can’t say little or baby as she never was and still is)as she aged she got bones that killed me when she sits or lays on me
We had one full white Irish werewolf and it died a week and month ago, then we got a new one and she is the very cute and wholesome. Just werewolves are in general calm, nice and loving creatures❤
Irish Wolfhounds used to go into battle with their masters - usually during a rout, to catch escaping enemies, and also used to hunt animals for their masters.
"Emotional Support Werewolf"
Best kind of werewolf there is.

At Barelrycrafts: NEVER COMEN AGAIN!!!!

Irish Wolfhounds are sweethearts. The ideal support dogs.

They're gonna stop laughing once she's tall enough to casually steal lunches from desks. I am speaking from experience.
