Happy I'm skipping this year, but I hope for next year it will be a button, i wanna come back to Mous

@@hannesfloI will pick up preordered 1TB natty on Friday on 5th Ave, however, I'm still considering to return it and skip 16PM - does not seem worth the effort.
I went apple silicone... i was gonna go caudabe or torras but cutout for camera control button is a dealbreaker for me. Having the sapphire crystal button with full protection of the button is important to me
Hated mous for years got the green and blue one for 15 pro max and both are just freaking amazing now, compared to the past, only case on my phone other than andar or bullstrap
@@TechnicallyTee Agreed, I just can’t get down with these huge exposed cut outs. Waiting for more companies to revise their cases and adopt an Apple-like solution.
I hate to say it but I bought an Apple silicone case for the 16PM …and will order a Phone Rebel Flex in a couple weeks. The 3rd party case manufacturers need get on board the sapphire camera button like Apple, the cut outs are a band-aid solution
I honestly don’t think it’s going to be a bandaid, that’s just what they decided to do. So I doubt I’ll see any cases updated with a button but it will be interesting which design people like better.
@@TechnicallyTee I can’t help but think it had to be a band-aid. They probably didn’t know how to deal with the capacitive nature of the button. Now that Apple has given up the ghost with how to deal with the button I can’t help but think 3rd party’s will revise their cases over the next few months to next year
I can't wait for your review of the Caudabe Sheath! I got one for my 14 based on your review. I love the grip and protection as I use my phone to capture photos and video while riding my bike.
You should also check out the Casetify Force case. I’m also a big Sheath fan but the Force case is also a great option. All depends on your preference for the magnet array. The texture isn’t bad either.
The iPhone 16 Pro Max will be my first iPhone. Ive been an Android user since like version 2. Im hoping for a good experience. I ordered the Pelican case for it.
otterbox is also an immaculate case for almost 100% guaranteed quality protection. The only issue is they are very bulky. If you don't care about bulkiness and are a very clumsy person who works in harsh environments, it is a must have. My dads a mechanic and hes had otterbox for 5 years+ and not once broke his phone
My Caudabe Synthesis Gray just shipped today for my 16 PM Natural Titanium! Hope it makes it in time for my launch day 256gb 16 PM! I also went with Caudabe screen protector for the first time.
I got the Supcase UB Mag case in black. Like that it has an actual button for the camera control button. Both Benks and Aulumu have some nice looking iPhone 16 cases as well.
I got the UB Pro Max, do you think if I buy a tempered glass protector, and take off the plastic protector of the case, if the tempered glass protector will fit on the phone and in the case still?
Any case with camera cutouts are ugly and not at all worth mainly from the expensive brands….need to have a button for the camera and this time SUPCASE nailed it added a camera button to their cases and they are even in very affordable price point.
The reason I like the Apple silicon cases are because 1) They usually have a color match for all of the newest iPhones. 2) It feels great to the touch. 3) It’s very easy to remove (and clean) and I sometimes like to go caseless when I’m around the house to enjoy the design of the phone. The only drawback for me is that they get scuffed pretty easily if dropped on a rough surface and they absorb oil like no other. 😩
Can't wait for the magnet strength tests - I went with an ESR to start me out but magnet strength is going to be a critical factor when I decide to go in for a more expensive one.
I've just bought the Pitaka Moonrise aramid fibre case for my incoming iPhone 16 Pro. Love the colours and the minimalist aesthetic. Thanks Tee, I always enjoy your videos. ☺
Speaking of cases, I had the frosted rebel case for the iphone 14 pro max, I loved this case but sadly I cracked the back of my phone not once but twice, so I ended up getting a frosted Aulumu case! Would you recommend getting another Rebel for the 16 pro max?
The Smartish Grip Monk is awesome. Had it on my 13 and dropped my phone quite a bit and it was never an issue. It’s the slimmer version of the Gripzilla, also is satisfying to hold.
I have a clear esr case with the kickstand… for my 14 pro I also did a clear (with coloured sides) and even though I bought it just so I had something on day one I never needed a new one and two years later it is still my everyday case so esr was the obvious choice for my day one. May eventually grad one pink cloud ones though because they look so cute.
I got that exact Pitaka case. My first Pitaka case even though I’ve looked at them forever. Feels super nice in the hand. Soft but textured. Can’t wait to slap it on the phone. Got one of their MagSafe rings to give a go.
ESR classic ordered, clear and w/ their kickstand and they add glass screen protection for an extra $1, best case for protection, style & bang for your buck! Mine was great for the iPhone 15 Pro Max, didn’t hesitate to order for the 16 Pro Max! Shipping was fast also!
iPhone 16 Pro Max in Black. Waiting on the Phone Rebel Gen 6 case to be in stock. Best case I’ve ever owned! Until it’s available I got the Benks Kevlar. Looks good for the meantime but might be a little slick
I've preordered the Pitaka Military-Grade Sunset case for iPhone 16 Pro. I've never used a Pitaka case before, but I've heard a lot of good things about them and I just love the gradient design along with the copper details around the camera and on the buttons on this particular model
I've used Pitaka magez pro for 14pm and over the horizon for 15pm and they tend to leave some black stain on my phones. Also oil sticks easily so u need to clean it regularly
If u get black u can see the oil stains but with gradient designs will be nice all the time

Pitaka Protective case for 13PM was one of my favorite cases ever. It was 1500d and not slippery at all. For 15PM they made one of the most premium cases ever, however they ruined it by making the case almost as slippery as Benks ArmorPro 600d. I'm not buying protective pitakas anymore.
Pitaka was transitioning to recycled aramid fiber for the camera lip towards the end of the 15. Not sure why they went back to metal for the 16. I don’t like the feeling of metal when I put my phone down. For now I’ve grabbed an Apple case until reviews start to come in for what kind of cutout works best, or if maybe some brands start to incorporate the sapphire and conductive layer like Apple.
Yeah they seem to go back and forth with the camera lip and I agree, I prefer the plastic as well. Don’t want something that’s getting all scratched up.
Y’all gonna laugh at me but that’s ok. I’m a truck driver and I’m upgrading my dinosaur 8 Plus because it just won’t take any updates any more. I’m brutal on my phone and have always been a fan of the otterbox with the multi-piece cases with built in screen protector and the charge port cover. I’ve got a 16PM on order and just can’t decide on a case. I’m leaning towards the one with the capacitive camera button. Ive only found one brand with a charge port cover but it’s got the big camera button cutout. I guess I’ll settle on a low to mid price case for now and hope something better comes out sooner than later.
Hey Tee good video! I have pre ordered the iPhone 16 pro max and the case of choice is the ESR MagSafe with kickstand I used ESR for my 13 pro and was very good.
I got the UB Pro Max, do you think if I buy a tempered glass protector, and take off the plastic protector of the case, if the tempered glass protector will fit on the phone and in the case still?
I was debating between the Sheath and the Nomad Rugged. In the end I ordered myself the Nomad since I like how it can lay flat on its back when set down in a table. I’m excited to see how it pairs with my 16 pro max!
Hey Tee, you should mention the chemicals used to manufacture some of these cases. They are some nasty stuff that I don't think anybody wants in their hands for hours every day. Spigen is a particularly bad offender. Most of their cases have Bisphenol A (BPA) which can leach into the skin, and some even emit Ethylbenzene.
My first iPhone case was Supcase UB, and looks like the same will follow for my second one. I just hope blue version will also be available for 16 Pro.
So far I have the Spigen Tough Armor, three Suti PhoneBacks, and the Dbrand Grip on the way. I have like 16 cases for my 14 Pro, so I'm sure that collection will grow but for now, those are my most used. Might snag a Phone Rebel too. (Also I HATE the Mous Limitless on my 14 Pro. It's slippery on the edges and feels way thicker than it really is, which makes it tiring to use after a while. Just my opinion!)
I pre-ordered an iPhone 16 Pro Max 256 GB in Desert Titanium. I'm not a fan of the cut outs for the Camera Control, so I ordered the Apple Silicone case in Lake Green and the Beats case in Riptide Blue. I'll figure out which one I like best and then return the other one.
First: 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿 Second: I’m really not a fan of that capture button cutout - it makes the cases look so weird to me. Third: I see Pitaka is rounding the corners of their cases again. If they go back to their logo as their branding instead of “Pitaka” it’d be the best case again (to me). Now I have to see how Benks responds.
I've been going back to your Rhinoshield video trying to decide if I should get that as my first case. This video is perfect timing thanks for making it! Would you recommend the Rhinoshield going off your experience with the previous models to this date? I'm unsure if I want to go with a Spigen clear case with the soft sides as my current one has yellowed quite a lot (but that just comes with that type of case).
Bro I love all the early recommendations cases definitely gonna look nice with the 16 pro max but I’m kind of disappointed with caudabe and spigen they drooped fire 🔥 cases but not for the 15 pro max ughh lol

That Mous case is awful looking lol
All personal preference. Tons of people like the Mous case. I’m just not a huge fan of the cutout.

Spigen Tough armor is the way to go AND they finally removed the apple logo cutout! Been refusing to buy that case until they did that.
Cant wait for your review about the caudabe. Specially the new paragon. I’m using caudabe sheath because of your great review.
Ok, blowout fade 😂
