How utterly on the mark! I could listen to Hitchen's writings for hours. Were he here to see the bloody mess humanity finds itself in today......what would he say?
In a way, I am glad Christopher was spared these past years, the utter wretched stale lampoon would have broken his heart. His solace shall be that we are able to feel our way ahead with his considerate essays as ballast.
What will you say? Christopher Hitchens, his entire life, tried to rally a Battle Cry... and here you are with your asinine, let's-not-get-proactive- because-not-my-problem comment
I have been searching out Hitchens’ debates and readings for the last year, why has this only just come up in my recommendations, and with so few views and comments?
You can always count, like clockwork, how real characters who apply Reason in daring Socratic form, will first be dismissed as impertinent , then perceived as a threat, then murdered, then desperately forgotten in the hasty business at the Agora. Hitchens was harpooned by the Left and the Right with "Islamophobia" despite any actual valuation of his Polemics, indeed of his Humanity and Perception. Exactly as Socrates was prosecuted for another absurd type of Blasphemy which has no substance. There must be some crap algorithm which reflects the degradation of "content" according to prevailing trends which has placed Hitchens in a RUclips Limbo my friend. Maybe. That's my two cents.
Anyone who wants the caliphate to exist here in the US should reconsider that wish and move to where it's already in place. There's no freedom of speech in those places, no women's lib, not one ounce of tolerance for dissent.
Bloody marvellous

Agree or disagree he always gets his point across very well

We miss Mr Hitchens
Wonder what he’d make of today’s mask wearing?🙄
I think he'd consider mask wearing a rational response to a situation made infinitely worse by irrational and superstitious responses.
@@Waltham1892 totally agree...
