- Carolina Smoke BBQ Grill features its Friday night "Meat Feast", where servers bring to your table all-you-can-eat cuts of Prime rib, brisket, garlic parmesan pork, sausage, filet mignon, etc.
On Saturday nights, they feature all-you-can-eat crab legs, as well.
They also have many other specials throughout the week.
They are located at:

I enjoy the town of Morganton. I worked in Newton so it was easy to get there. Will try this BBQ place soon.

Yes, we really don't normally like to show us eating a lot, except for maybe sampling a few things at the beginning. But this time, we had to because there were so many various options.

If you ever make it to Texas try Cooper`s . We eat Cooper`s all the time.
Are you talking about the Cooper's at the Fort Worth Stockyards? If so, we were there this past April, and we actually have a video of it on this channel.
To be honest, we were not impressed with the way they did things there. Hopefully, you are talking about another Cooper's. If we get back to Ft. Worth, I think we would give Goldie's a try.
We're glad you enjoy it, however. We've just never been to a place that tells you to tell them to "cut right there", without having any idea what the weight of the cut is. We ended up paying far more than we ever have at a BBQ place.
Since thy have branched out and became a chain the quality has gone down. @@NCMemoryMakers

Has a Asheville vibe but very clean owner super nice waitress very at the ready and helpful I’m not very picky but she didn’t let our drinks slurp lol 😂 very Betsy on the spot🥰🥰🥰.
Those plates you guys got looked really good. Prime rib and brisket are favorites of ours. How far is this from the flea market? We hit the flea market every time we go to Cherokee or TN. Thanks for sharing.
This is off of Exit 105, and the flea market is off of Exit 100. So, a little over 5 mi.

The Carolina Reaper has over 2 million Scoville units, making it still the hottest. I can't find anything about a Pepper Joe pepper. I'd like to know more.
I did find a company called Pepper Joe's, and they sell all of the seeds for the hot varieties.
Pepper X is the new champion.
@0066keith My understanding of Pepper X, is that Carolina Reaper is one of the parent plants, crossbred with another variety from Michigan.
I think it was created by the same guy who bred the Carolina Reaper. Actually, it looks just like a Reaper.

Yeah, she said the potato had no smoke taste at all. I guess it didn't penetrate the foil. Looking forward to trying the crab legs in the near future.

With all the hoopla about the best & freshes meats, wait time to be expected and when the meat is out, it’s really out.
I guess with that being said, I was expecting better.
They were short staffed as most restaurants are now a days but I think the salad bar could had used a quick tidy up.
I would still give it a try and I do like the shrimp.
The waitress seemed very nice.
I can’t remember the name of the restaurant you dined that was very close to your home but the prime rib there just melted in the Shawnee’s mouth. I apologized for misspelling your name.

The place you're talking about, is the Bones Jones Burgers review, from 2 weeks ago.
I wish it was closer to us...It's about 40 minutes away. We'd be there a lot more.
Looks to be an hour drive from my place in Hiddenite NC (try the Yellow Deli here if you havent yet)… will definitely make time and visit…
If you do go there, let us know what you think. An hour is probably about right, since it's not quite 30 minutes from our house. If you're going to drive to Morganton to eat, I would also suggest Bones Jones sometime.

I'm waiting on the Bones Jones Burgers and Butchery to open their new BBQ place there in Morganton. Hopefully y'all will consider going to review their new place once they get it open,which I hope is soon.
Somebody else made a comment about that. I didn't know they were going to open another place until I read that. If and when they do, we will certainly go.
Or, you might have also made another comment about that. I just know that I've read it twice. We certainly are not opposed to trying it when it comes.

That’s a great deal for crab legs!!! Wow!! We love Captain George’s in Myrtle Beach. And they are around $46.00 per person. Thanks and be safe!!!
Captain George's has gone up to $49.95 a person. We did a video there this past November. I really liked their Cajun crab legs.
Wow it was only $29.95 when we first went there.

I actually live in Morganton! We've been to Carolina Smoke several times. It's always so good! If you leave hungry, that's your own fault! It's so much food!!

Looks like you found another great location. I would like to try this place out sometime. The all you can eat prime rib sounds good! I would really love to see what all is on the seafood buffet. For the price of the seafood buffet with the crab legs you can not beat it. You decide to go please let me know, because I would be interested in meeting you for the seafood buffet. Thanks for sharing this restaurant with us. You had mentioned this was an old Sagebrush at one time, we miss those. We used to have one in Lynchburg years ago. Yes, I will have to look and see what all is on the seafood buffet. The buffet last night, was not a lot of items. That's because they bring the meats to your table. I don't know if there's a lot of seafood out or not, but I know she did mention that they have crab legs. I will try to find out something on that.
I thought the price we paid for all-you-can eat brisket, prime rib, and filet mignon, was exceptionally good.
I know David loves scallops. I have to say those smoked scallops were some of the worst smelling things I've ever seen. If he gets those, I might have to go move to another table until he's done eating them...LOL
@@NCMemoryMakers yes that price was not bad at all. When I saw they had crab legs on the menu sign you showed you had my attention. lol Please do check and see what you can find out and we will have to schedule something in the future.

If you want the scallops, I'll endure it. I guess it was just something about them being smoked, that made them smell bad. I've never noticed it with fried scallops before.

It was a new one for us, as well. Never seen a barbecue place that brings different types of meat to your table.

One of my FAVORITE places to eat and, the owner has put his heart into the business and, it shows. Good people, good food, great atmosphere.
