I lived several years at 7800+ foot elevation in New Mexico mountains before moving down to town at about 5200-5300 foot altitude. This video brings back memories. Stay safe and warm...
Beautiful video, sir!! Over here in southern New Hampshire we barely got any snow last year. Very much hoping for a little more this year. To me there is nothing more Beautiful than snow covered wilderness❤ Wishing you a safe and happy winter!! Take care!
I miss snow. I live in Southern California but grew up in the Great Lakes/Rust Belt and lived a couple years in Boulder, CO. Few things are as satisfying as working up a sweat outdoors when the temperature is below 30. The windows and doors in my shop (er - garage) are wide open all year. I like it, but I think it is turning me soft.
Sure wish we had some of that snow around here …….we need water bad. Fires all around. White and beautiful bring it on. Thanks for the vid John, enjoy your day and rest.
I hope you enjoy it! Up here in Monroe my gladiolas are still blooming, no sign of freezing yet, which suits me fine. Don't want to take my Yaris out in snow!
Hi John, this is kevin. Just an idea but why not make a snow plow attachment that slides onto your skid steer bucket on your other channel it may make it easier and quicker to clear your driveway as I know it does take a long time to clear the snow bucket by bucket by bucket lol
How well does your rainwater collection system work in the winter? Do you have problems with it freezing, etc? I’m off grid in the mountains of NE Washington and am considering setting up for rainwater as our dug well only has water in the early spring through about June-July. I top off our 2500 gal tank from the neighbor’s well before winter hits to get through till spring.
I does very well. It only has water flowing into the tanks when it's above freezing and the snow is melting, so the pipes don't freeze and of course the tank is buried to it isn't a problem. Even the smaller tanks we have above ground don't freeze solidly enough to hurt them.
You lucky dog you! I can't wait for it to snow here 😊🎅🏼🎅🏼🎅🏼❄️❄️❄️ gotta New snow blower for the tractor and want to try it out ....
Thanks for the video! Beautiful scenery and no fire danger! Win win!

You folks got hammered by this snow. Hope you get through the rough part quickly. Stay safe and if you can, have some fun with it. Fred.
It's melting off pretty quick.
Getting this much snow was nice after that hot fall
I’m jealous. It was 86 degrees here today.

I noticed your oak trees still had leaves. Same here in SW Colorado. Our trees are usually bare by now.
Beautiful country! Thank you for the video.
I’m sure glad the skidsteer I use pre-dates the invention of reverse-beepers. That’d drive me nuts listening to it all day while working.
It can get old pretty quick
man o man you guys got lucky! our firat snow ended up being rain! we got 48 hours of light rain maybe a couple inches total!
You can keep the snow!….. I’m ready for spring! Lol

Doesn't look like much of a freeze under that snow.
No, I would rather not have to plow the early storms until everything freezes. But when its this deep, there is little choice.
PERTY
Covered in snow. Stinking spell check.

Here in western Norway, we have yet to see the first snowflake (or see the temp fall below freezing for that matter).
Stay safe and have a nice day!
