      Ooo, maybe I could make a small baby blanket out of the black squares I have.

    Loved this tutorial, i originally watched stitchcrafts and was confused on some stitches, your video is a great view to show exactly where i needed to go! was also getting confused counting the starting chain as a stitch which was giving me 14 on one side, 13 on another which was frustrating me, i realise now thank you!! :)

      I'm so glad that I could be of some help. This square is used in a lot of different tutorials and now you'll be able to work them up as well.

    Just been to your channel, playlists, play all. Might get your watch hours up a bit. I always have something on whilst I crochet. Its started with this skull one so I'm thinking they're playing in reverse order... but that's fine unless you had any two partners 😁

      Yeah, it plays them from most recent, back to the first one. I have like 14 ish tutorial videos.

    Definitely going to this one! But how long are the sides? It would be good to know cause I plan to use them as pockets on a tote bag. In cm if that's OK?

    • @kiwiscrochetcorner
      @kiwiscrochetcorner  5 месяцев назад

      This square is probably about 14 cm across when using a 5.5 mm hook and a worsted weight yarn. You can adjust the size of the square by using a larger/smaller hook, using a lighter/heavier weight of yarn, or by adding a few more rounds. Also, your tension is going to make a difference in the overall size of the square. Happy crocheting.

    Do you happen to have the pattern written down anywhere? If not that’s totally fine! ^^

      @kiwiscrochetcorner  4 месяца назад

      Actually, I don't. I am not the original designer of this granny square. I just show you how to make it without having to turn after each round. I believe the original designer is listed in the description box, though.

    Strange, Shyler Crochet made the exact square over a year ago. Did you get the pattern from her?

    • @kiwiscrochetcorner
      @kiwiscrochetcorner  11 месяцев назад +1

      No, if you look in the description box, I credited the channel I got this square from.

    Hi I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong it seems to end up where the skull is side ways when I’m doing the granny square sections

    • @kiwiscrochetcorner
      @kiwiscrochetcorner  10 месяцев назад +1

      It sounds like you are placing your corner in the wrong stitch. After completing the skull, slip to join the round with the skull color, then clip your yarn. Insert your hook into the next stitch and join your new color with a slip stitch. Place your corner in the same stitch as your join.

      Then tutorial for the pajama pants will have all the info, and I'll eventually be looking for pattern testers for them.
