Brighton has always had such a wonderful and diverse scene in every sence... It has all the draws of a capital, but is small enough to be able to walk home drunk (or sober {...but less likely}) from almost anywhere. I now live in the absolute middle of nowhere, in an off grid cabin I'm building by myself in the Smoky Mountains... But Brighton, and all my dear friends there made me who I am now and I will always love them.
Norman Cook went to Brighton Poly and moved there and he often did his Fat Boy Slim concerts on the beach, I think he still owns a share in Brighton Football cliub, so it's no wonder The Big Push covered a track from Brighton royalty. Great track. Yo!
@@TeresaFlowery were they not ticket events? Although I can remember going to Glastonbury in the early 90's back when people used to climb the fence to get in and that could get a bit scary at times.
I played a lot of festivals back in the 90s and there is always an infirmary section…I thought they were there to hear the concerts for free until we played one that also had Limp Bizkit on the bill….it looked like a war zone back there…..blood everywhere ppl on stretchers……screaming in pain…..it was insane……I’m afraid in big crowds since then.

I like that they switch up too….I have no idea how they decide though….Gorran is perfectly capable of playing all those bass lines. Must be some other deciding factor

I’ve been teaching myself to sing for the the past 5 years…..I’m just starting to sound ok…..it’s very much a learnable skill if you put the work in. Being fearless speeds the process considerably!! ❤️

Needless to say there's some absolute gems on them . The one with Liv Sanger, another Brighton musician, is particularly good .

It seems like yesterday that I first heard this but it was a few years ago now. They harmonise very nicely all over their catalogue but it’s not always obvious. Big favourite and a happy sweet reaction from your good self. High D is it and you picked it straight up with the mixed head and throat voice with a bit of chest even I reckon. Loved this❤

They might not be the same chords but the same shapes would still be applicable…you might have to use a capo to get the same chords……I don’t know what the tuning scales are

for somebody that had no vocal training, Ren can bloody sing, he said in an interview when he started he couldn't sing at all.
