Every time John Oliver is a guest on another show, he out-hosts the other host. It's hilarious to watch.
I loved it when he went on CBS. He managed to make all the other presenters look like idiotic disgraces to their profession by comparison while maintaining his charm and humility.

John Oliver's show is Amazing! And I do not use that word lightly. It might be the best show being made now. Every talent that Jon Stewart has touched has become commendable personalities in their own right. If anyone wants to understand the US, and as citizens we all should, go watch his show. It's hilarious and heartbreaking at the same time. I kid you not, it will make grown men cry!

I live in Northern Ireland where they used to do a good deal of the filming. John Oliver was an extra who just wondered in on the set one day and started killing people for the camera so of course they gave him his own show 😂
Gabriel Badwolf that’s sounds horrifying yet, it still would have been a better ending to season eight.
In retrospect, the makers killed the GOT series. So they deserve to be on HBO.

What's wrong with y'all? Jimmy Fallon is goddamn prince. So is Oliver. Jimmy has a more, welcome, friendlier, sweet guy vibe, John is funnier, more sarcastic, he's that sharp, subversive sort of friend. Let's just love em both guys, there's a reason theyre so successful

Hahaha, who put you in charge of what a host's supposed to be? I love sarcasm, I love wit, and I love comedy, but often I prefer jimmys funny-but-mostly-fun brand for my talk show. If you get to define the ultimate standard kf good, it's easy to cast judgment. But you don't, and millions of people obviously disagree, guess some of us like sweet hosts, sorry.

Am I the only one who came here because I love Jimmy Fallon? He's so upbeat and friendly I thought it was literally impossible to not like him. HIs show is easily the most creative talk show.

Yeah I think you are. Conan's my favourite talk show host because he's actually funny. Ferguson was also pretty great. Kimmel and Fallon just don't see that authentic to me.

Conan tells allot of the same jokes ( look at me i'm pretending to be a dirty old man!!!),
Kimmel is a bit mean spirited and cynical. Jimmy Fallon always does interesting bits with his guests and his whole show is thoroughly upbeat and positive. I don't care how "genuine" my TV is, because TV is never genuine. It's a silly complaint IMO.
He does however seem like a really nice guy and goes out of his way make people feel comfortable. In that way he is less forced because he lets his guests be entertaining instead of trying to force them to react to some weird character.
***** Fallon seems like a nice guy, but he also seems awkward and like he doesn't want to be there a lot of the time imo. His interview skills aren't that great either.

kinsanQ EX: When John said "...you've got a good face for a magazine cover..." there was an uncomfortable pause and then Jimmy goes "...oh, wha, no...I, I don't think so." You could tell he wanted to say " Oh yeah. I know. I'm gorgious." And he's always forcing himself to laugh hysterically at stuff that's only worth maybe a chuckle in an effort to make the show seem like it's amazing, like " oh my god, we're all having such a great time. You can tell by how much we're all laughing!"
