Conway had a very distinctive voice. He also sang with various artists. His biggest hit was Only Make Believe. An often reacted to song is That's My Job. He sang You're the Reason Our Kids Are Ugly with country queen Loretta Lynn. He sings Joannie Joannie Please Don't Cry with his daughter. And you really need Hello Darlin' and Linda on my Mind.
My daughter pulled over yesterday in TX, just to photograph a "Hello Darlin" sign for this mama, I cried, she's only in her 20s but knows how much I love Conway🤠🤠🤧🤣
Such a wonderful song. A song that starts off sounding like a man who just wants to get his and ends up being about how much he cares and how much he wants and will always want his woman no matter what. Can’t get much more romantic than that.
Don't let old Conway fool ya, he still wants his though, "and if I can I know I'd still love to lay you down." This was before Viagra. If he wasn't able he could pop a little blue pill to aid in that. 🤣 I get what you are saying, and it is both of the things you are saying.
One of my favorite covers by Conway is The Rose! I love all of his music and can play every song on guitar! I was raised on old-school country and bluegrass.
I can't even begin to tell you the beautiful memories this has brought to me. I lost my mom 21 years ago. She LOVED Conway Twitty. Every time I hear him, I smile. Thank you for the memories and the smiles❤❤
We are in total agreeance that today's country is not what it was. But please just not my business how you phrase your comment. But I beg you don't compare new country, rock and roll. There are no sweet tea, dirt roads, pontoon boats. Fields making love in the back of trucks. And bragging about how you work every week in rock N roll.
He is my favorite country artist followed by Don Williams...the 2 most velvety voices ever! While a great song, this shows nowhere near the range this legend has. He's known as the country Elvis...women absolutely swooned at his concerts, I hear.
No one told a story better than Conway Twitty. Classic country voice with the little growl. His records were always playing when I was a kid growing up. Don't Cry Joni and Games that Daddies Play are a couple of my favorites. Edited to add Tight Fittin Jeans👍
Conway is one of the very best, he started in rock and roll then moved to country. Now you need to listen to him and Loretta Lynn. Super sing duo. Louisiana woman, Mississippi Man.
Two Conway songs I’d recommend are You’ve Never Been This Far Before & his last recording. A duet with Sam Moore of the R&B duo Sam & Dave. They did the song Rainy Night In Georgia.
I grew up on Conway!! My mom loved him, I think she seen him at least 20 times!! Another great one by him that I would love for you to listen to is Goodbye Time. I hope to see it soon!
Nowadays this would be insulting to some women, but in those days, women would blush, swoon and dream that it was her he was singing to! We took this as a compliment!
Gone far too soon. Miss you Conway. R.I.P. 💔 Fun fact: Conway was born in the Mississippi Delta, not far south of Memphis, Harold Lloyd Jenkins and took his stage name while traveling early in his career from two little towns in Arkansas, Conway and Twitty!
Conway is amazing. His songs are always emotional and geared toward women. I saw him live when I was about 14. His live show was awesome. Thanks for reacting to him.
Growing up in the 80s, when a Conway Twitty song came on the radio Mama would hush us all up. "Now y'all hush Conway's on!" :D All the women of a certain age crushed on Conway Twitty.
Perhaps he has the same vibe as Johnny Cash because both Johnny and Conway were part of Sun Records in Memphis (Elvis Presley's first record label too). Both Cash and Twitty were Rock-a-Billy singers at the time so they have a shared background.
I'm 58 years old lost my mom 18 years ago.My mom LOVED COUNTRY MUSIC.As a younger me I can remember my mom blasting her country music.Conway Twitty,Loretta Lynn, Dolly,Donna Fargo, Charlie Pride .Its good that your educating yourself on country music. I've listened to a large variety of music. But country takes me bake home...
Oh my goodness I love Conway Twitty. Thank you so much for your reaction. I have a favorite. I know you get tons of requests but if you ever get the chance "Goodbye Time" is, in my opinion, his greatest work. There's a live performance of it that I just know you'll fall in love with. Thank you & take care 🌹🌹
LOL! After 40 years my husband still sings this to me. Love this! Yes, my hair was auburn... many decembers in my face, he still lives the promise of this song.
Definitely add "Tight Fitting Jeans" to your Bedroom list. Funny stuff about "Old School Country". This was from 1980. In '75 I was in college, a College Rock Deejay late night during the week, and got a paying gig on the top COUNTRY AM-FM station on weekends (minimum wage). At that time "Country Music" had a major Pop influence what I called "Strings instead of 'Strangs' ". Conway, Dolly, Charlie Pride and Cal Smith. And I was listening to - along with Elton John & Zeppelin - Emmylou, John Prine, Charlie Daniels & all the Texas Outlaws - long hair Waylon, Willie & Jerry Jeff Walker. NONE of those were on our playlist. So when you're trying to figure out if you like "Country music" keep in mind the genre is as diverse as Rock or Jazz.
Love Conway! Grew up listening to 60's and 70's country. Thank you for this it made me smile 😊 One of his last songs if not his last was Who Did They Think He Was ... if you get a chance listen, you don't have to react but it's definitely worth a listen, you will be surprised. It's really is impactful.
You can't listen to Conway without checking out Loretta Lynn. She wrote this song called I can't hear the music anymore. She wrote it after her husband passed away
I appreciate your videos because I don’t need to worry about enduring blasphemy and cursing. You’re genuine and seem like a guy I could have great conversations with and learn from. Thank you. I can’t afford to donate but I recommend Saturday Night Special by Conway Twitty. One of my favorites.
You need to listen to Hello Darlin also and Tight Fittin Jeans. He also does some great duets with Loretta Lynn, one of my faves is Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man. ❤
I love Conway! Still miss him today. Conway could do any song he wanted.....no matter how dirty people thought it was. I don't think his songs were dirty. They were beautiful songs. Conway sang what we Ladies wanted to hear. He sang to us, but the men listened to him also. Then it even gets better when Loretta Lynn is singing a duet with Conway. My favorite Conway song is "You've never been this far before".
Please react to Hello Darlin and Tight Fittin Jeans by Conway! He was way ahead of his time. He did a lot of great songs with Loretta Lynn also that you should check out! R.I.P. Conway. We will see you on the other side.
Conway Twitty, comes right out of the golden age of country music in my opinion. You need to take a listen to some interesting Don Williams, and some John Conlee. If you really want some true story telling when it comes to music, listen to some Red Sovine, and Jerry Reed.
Given the time this was released, it's actually quite daring - a man (whose main concern is sex) is trying to explain that he understands what a woman wants (understanding, commitment) in exchange for what he wants. I don't know if he was that way in his personal life, but he sure hooked a lot of women fans with his songs!
Bedroom Playlist, OH you need to hear him sing Slow hand. You'll also like You've never been this far before. His duet partner was Loretta Lynn. They were very close friends. They have a song You're the reason our kids are ugly
For your bedroom play list #SlowHand by Conway Twitty, #GettingYouHome by Chris Young, #BurningItDown by Jason Aldean, #StripItDown by Luke Bryan #LikeAWreckingBall by Eric Church
my mom loved Conway Twitty until the day she died one of her favorite Conway songs was Slow Hand and Tight Fitting Jeans
Everyone's mom loved Conway

Only Make Believe, Hello Darlin', and Don't Take it Away, my 3 all time favorite country songs from Conway!
My daughter pulled over yesterday in TX, just to photograph a "Hello Darlin" sign for this mama, I cried, she's only in her 20s but knows how much I love Conway🤠🤠🤧🤣
I fooled around and fell in love with him, too. lol😊❤
This is my favorite Conway song. I think every human wants that kind of love.
"Once Is Not Enough Kind Of Love" is a very sexy Conway song that doesn't seem to be real well-known. I love it!
Conway was known for his "growl". A good example is in his cover of "It's Only Make Believe".
Don't Take it Away is the best example, but your spot on correct
Yes!! Awesome song!! It's the first song I remember by Conway . And then there was "Danny Boy"❤🤟
My Daddy sang this song in every gig they had. Now that my Daddy is gone every time I hear it I just cry, sad & happy tears. Thank you Sebs ❤️
Literally, I might not have been born without this song.
Most of today's country music is rock with a twang. Check out Conway's song " Hello Darlin".
Conway actually sang outside the country world and switched to country… and he had some bangers!!!
I'm 57 and I saw Conway when I was 10 years old at Old Chicago. He signed my hand and I was so in love with him!!
He is my favorite country artist followed by Don Williams...the 2 most velvety voices ever! While a great song, this shows nowhere near the range this legend has. He's known as the country Elvis...women absolutely swooned at his concerts, I hear.

Conway Twitty started out as a rock & roll singer
I loved Conway, I still love Conway!❤
Conway Twitty sang a song called The Clown. Breaks my heart a little every time I hear it.
Thanks for reacting to this one! Conway Twitty was a legend. Only 59 when he died.
Conway Twitty! A true country legend.

Conway was one of the all time greats.
Conway started his career in the rock genre.

OMG Conway still giving this old gal chills! I miss him to this day.
One of my all time favorite singers and song!! Love him!!! Try his Hello Darlin!!
CT reminds me so much of my grandparents... one of the greats in country music
Conway was known as "The Best Friend A Song Ever Had" i fell in love with his voice at 2 years old. He knew what women wanted to hear in a love song.
You need to listen to Hello Darlin also and Tight Fittin Jeans. He also does some great duets with Loretta Lynn, one of my faves is Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man. ❤
The ladies love Conway. 👍
I think you'd also appreciate Hello Darling, Tight Fitting Jeans, and Thats My Job.
That last one can get to you a bit.
Hey Sebs, Willie Nelson and Walen Jennings. Mamma's Don't Let You Babies Grow Up To Be cowboys. And Poncho and Lefty
This is beautiful he has a good voice
We can thank the US Army for Conway's career. He was about to sign a contract with the Phillies when he was drafted into the army
One of the classics!
You need to listen more Conway. It’s a great rabbit hole to fall into. Especially to hear him say “Hello Darlin”
Takes me back❤😊
I enjoy this channel. There is lots of bad, negative juju going on in the world. This is nice. You and Ali seem like sweet family 🙏🏻
My Grandma had a newspaper article cutout on her refrigerator as I was growing up. She LOVED him and my WWII vet Grandpa knew it. 😂
One of the greats
I love Conway! Still miss him today. Conway could do any song he wanted.....no matter how dirty people thought it was. I don't think his songs were dirty. They were beautiful songs. Conway sang what we Ladies wanted to hear. He sang to us, but the men listened to him also. Then it even gets better when Loretta Lynn is singing a duet with Conway. My favorite Conway song is "You've never been this far before".
He was a Rock singer
Conway has LOTS of sexy time songs.
"Linda on my Mind" is another good one.
Ole Conway, The High Priest of Country Music, was always good for panty-dropper hits in the 70’s & 80’s.
See @Sebs Duran the Panty Dropper
Please react to Hello Darlin and Tight Fittin Jeans by Conway! He was way ahead of his time. He did a lot of great songs with Loretta Lynn also that you should check out! R.I.P. Conway. We will see you on the other side.
This isn't a bedroom song. This is a journey to the bedroom song....dancing in the living room song
Another on for your bedroom playlist is Lady by Kenny Rogers! You will love it!!
I used to sing this song at karaoke back in collge and it helped pick up more than a few women 😂.
There’s so much greatness to Conway! It’s unfortunate you only react to “by donation only”. We sub’s could bring you on a deep dive-journey.
His song DON'T CRY JONI has his daughter singing duet with hom
The best bedroom playlist song by Conway would be “Slow Hand”
One of the original smooth talkers
Notice after key change his chorus begins different changing what A woman want to hear to What MY woman want to hear..
I’ve always jokingly said that if you truly listen to the words of most of his songs, he was a “dirty old man” 😂
Or just Honest!!! We all have sex
Please react to That's My Job. Not a sexy song, but a beautiful song about a father's love.
Found this song a few years after my dad passed.
You need to listen to “Hello Darlin”- ❤
I love It's Only Make Believe.
Legend
Conway was the king of pantie droppers. He wrote and sang his songs for the ladies
Do Conway’s song “Goodbye Time”….one of his best!
Try his song Slow hand, or tight fitting jeans
You gotta hear him sing, "I want to know you before we make love." Any of his songs really.
Conway Twitty, comes right out of the golden age of country music in my opinion. You need to take a listen to some interesting Don Williams, and some John Conlee. If you really want some true story telling when it comes to music, listen to some Red Sovine, and Jerry Reed.
Ayooo let's gooo!!!
I can't figure out how to get to your suggestions list, but if you like Conway you must listen to Slow Hand also.
More Conway content pls!!
Given the time this was released, it's actually quite daring - a man (whose main concern is sex) is trying to explain that he understands what a woman wants (understanding, commitment) in exchange for what he wants. Bedroom Playlist, OH you need to hear him sing Slow hand. You'll also like You've never been this far before. His duet partner was Loretta Lynn. They were very close friends. They have a song You're the reason our kids are ugly
If you listen to the actual album recording, he does 2 key changes at the end. Gets even lower on the last one.
Check out Red Sovine Teddy Bear
I think Conway's hair is as legendary as his music, lol.
For your bedroom play list #SlowHand by Conway Twitty, #GettingYouHome by Chris Young, #BurningItDown by Jason Aldean, #StripItDown by Luke Bryan #LikeAWreckingBall by Eric Church
This was the panty dropper song back in the day. Women love him. His voice is like butter.
