Hi Tanu, I am planning to do some basic self study and then connect with you for the exam prep plan. I am looking for a study partner. I started a month ago, and my 2nd language in school was French. Trying to do it in fast track.
Great informative video !! Could you please share how to motivate yourself in the beginning of your journey. I find it extremely hard to make a plan and sort of believe that this will work. As this is completely new language, believing and putting those efforts in first months is very difficult. could you make a video on your schedule and how you actually studied in first 2 months?
Good video! Thanks to the author of the channel for the recommendations! The problem with many people is that they want to take a "magic pill" or get "secret knowledge" and immediately have skills and abilities. However, the truth of life is that knowledge, skills, and abilities do not come by themselves. You can't learn a foreign language without doing anything, without wasting your time and effort, just like you can't learn to ride a bike lying on a comfy couch, listening to lectures and watching videos about "modern methods of learning" on a bike. To really learn something, you have to really practice every day. You're going to fall down while you're learning, and you're going to get bumps - that's normal! The ups and downs of learning are an integral part of our lives. Motivation from success and depression from failure will always be your study companions. However, every student has problems in his or her studies that he or she lacks the knowledge to solve. It can be: poor memorization of words; no progress in language learning; the student can speak, but does not understand speech by ear; misunderstanding of grammar; incorrect pronunciation, etc. Agree that a problem you don't know how to solve is very demotivating. In order to find the answer to our question we have to spend a lot of time to read videos, articles and books by polyglots. In today's world, we have to solve problems as quickly as possible. I don't have time to study and analyze a huge amount of information. My goal is to master the basic knowledge of a foreign language as quickly as possible and already start earning money effectively in the international arena. I settled on the practical guide by Yuriy Ivantsiv " Polyglot's Notes: practical tips for learning foreign language". This book is always in my bag. If I have a problem while learning a language, I quickly find the answer in this book. There are many different techniques and tips for learning a foreign language in Polyglot Notes. I have made my own individual schedule and plan for language learning. Now I know what I am going to study, how I am going to study, when I am going to study and what results I am going to achieve. No problem could stop me! With an effective language learning plan my professional skills are more and more in demand internationally every day. Friends, don't stop there! Everyone has talents that millions of people around the world need! Learn the language and make your ideas and dreams come true! Thanks to the author of the channel for the informative and useful video! Your videos motivate me.
Very well said! To master a language or any any skill it’s important to get started. Practice, make mistakes and practice again. And failures are just temporary which are building blocks to the success which is not far for someone who keeps going and never gives up! Wish you all the best with your language learning journey 👍
Please guide how to prepare for comprehension écrit. I find some of the text very complex and vague. It appears very difficult to score B2+ after doing Édito B1 only. Any idea for dealing with reading in 2-3 months without doing Édito B2 and above ?
Hello Tanu, In Edito, there are many exercises, fill in the blanks etc. and the answers are not given in the book (hard copy). How to get their answers to make sure that we did it correctly?
This is a great video, and thank you for providing the materials. I tested for A2 a couple weeks back, and I'm going to start B1 as soon as I'm done gathering my materials. Would you recommend I start with Edito B1, or would I be lost since I didn't use Edito for A1 and A2?
Thanks David! Yes, you can start with Edito B1 since you have completed A2 level! However, there is one suggestion that I can give. Once you’re done with a unite in Edito B1, you may consider going through a chapter in A2 on the similar theme - hobby, work, sports, etc. This would help you to cover anything you may have missed on that theme. Good luck!
Thank you for the guidance Tanu, could you please tell me if i should order the textbook and the workbook (cahier d’activities) together or is the text book enough? Appreciate your help
How much vocabulary is enough to start preparing for tef specific ? It never ends.. if I pick up any article, I may not know all d vocabulary.. nd sometimes I find difficult to remember all vocab .
Bonjour ! I just want to say that your story gives me a lot of hope. I have been learning French from almost scratch as well and if possible I want to score B2-C1 as well. I saw in one of your videos that you worked with an Italki tutor named Feriel, but sadly she isn't accepting new students anymore. If it's ok with you, can you share other tutors that you have worked with? Thank you! :)
Hey, I just know one thing that if I can do it, anyone can do it! Just stay consistent and choose a right teacher to guide you through and you'll make it happen. I know Feriel is keeping busy these days, but it was actually her with whom I continued to take classes throughout my journey and she helped me to pass the exam. In between I took few classes with Zinedine for TEF Canada speaking - www.italki.com/en/teacher/6607110 and with Iya for TEF Canada writing - www.italki.com/teacher/2999439. They are good but I found Feriel's lessons most suitable as per my needs :) You can try a few classes and then see if you find it helpful! It depends on what stage you're at currently but I think they offer general classes also apart from TEF preparation. However, their lessons are a bit expensive so please see what works best for you. All the best!!!!
Can you please share your notes on édito a1 i don’t have a teacher and trying to do on my own Thanks for sharing the text books If you can also share your notes for this book it will be awesome
I don’t have any notes as such. I used to write everything on the book itself and answers are also provided at the back of the book. If you need examples of my writing exercises in the book, please let me know.. I can share those
@@tanusharma01 yes that’s will help thanks a lot I just started with adito a1 and on chapter 2 but the problem I have is that I have to google almost every other word so the progress is very slow I am doin the book on my own Any advise on how to make quick progress in this as they book is in French only Appreciate the help
@@rockbang001 yes, as an absolute beginner it takes time to understand. That’s why it is advisable to spend 2-3 on grammar and on the language in general before starting with EDITO. However you can do it now also but expect to cover only a couple of pages per day. At this level, how much you are able to retain is more important than the quantity. Having a speaking partner would help to boost the learning pace
@@tanusharma01 also I have another question I did see your videos on the Tef preparation and your teachers Can you please confirm on like how much will he the approx cost for covering the grammar with those teachers on Itaki ? There charges are per hour so approx how many classes do we need to cover all grammar ? Same for like u did the édito book with ur teacher so how many classes do we Ned to complete édito a1 ? Thanks for all ur help
