    Having a soft voice can a be a bitch lol when you hit high notes but they sound "weak", you question yourself as a singer but then you learn that it's the identity of your sound and loud doesn't mean more talented. That's why I listen to a lot of singers who sound like me cause I can get used to my own sound.

    My mix is so soft. Looking at singers like Sohyang and Mariah with powerful, audible voices makes me feel so sad :’(, especially since they are my fav singers and I strive to be like them

      Ryan Wong I have the same problem. My voice is on the softer side, but I’m most attracted musically to artists like Kelly Clarkson and Ben Platt who have really powerful and belty voices.

    Thank you for your very informative video! My voice is soft, but not necessarily breathy, I can put out a good deal of volume, but prefer to focus on putting out a pure, sweet, and beautiful tone. I think this is way more important than belting out every song.

    Thanks. I’m a guitarist primarily and consider my voice secondary but have been trying to develop it. It’s very soft and airy, and when I try and project, the sound ends up being raspy like i have gravel stuck in my throat. I’m gonna try these techniques, and thanks for the encouragement that “loud is not better!”..my favourite singers are all soft, charismatic voices!

  • @estreya1863
    @estreya1863 3 года назад +8

    Yes, your voice sounds so beautifully when you sing the softer version! You 100% right. I noticed this many times but it is different thing when you hear it from a professionalist. Very often loud singing spoils everything, all the emotion is gone and you feel only the struggle of the singer - and this is really tiring.
