Ehh... I think the way to really find artistic enlightenment, is to find a balance between accessibility and personal expression. You can still make it by picking only one or the other, but I think the true mark of a master artist is to accomplish both at once. If you are only creating for your own enjoyment, then you are the only audience to please. If you create strictly for others to enjoy, then you will likely not be pleased, at least eventually. If you create something that both you and your audience can enjoy equally, then you make everyone happy.

John, I have to be honest, you're one of the few RUclipsrs I've still stuck with since the beginning and it's because of episodes like this. Not because it's about food, but because you show such unique stuff. I used to watch other channels that showed Japan or travel, but I got bored after a while. They all showed the same things, the robot cafe, maid cafes, shopping hauls at popular anime/ game places, Shibuya crossing, adult themed stores, the toilets, etc. And while this isn't bad and can be interesting for newcomers, it becomes repetitive after a while. You take the time to find these unique places and people and share them with the rest of us. There's a lot more to Japan than what people think it is and I thank you for that.
