I test rode a bunch of Harleys at a demo day and as a sport bike rider that was the only one that felt like it was complete and enjoyed corners for its size. All it needs is a quickshifter and more power for me.
The Indian Challenger is 40 lbs lighter and has similar RWH. 4.5" rear wheel travel. $17K less starting price. Supposed to be a new Challenger for 2025, will be interesting to see what Indian comes up with.
Which version of the Indian Challenger are you talking about? This is the top trim CVO so it’s at the top of the price range. Base model to base model though, these bikes are pretty comparable price wise. In fact, the Harley has a $2K cheaper starting price. Still, whether $24K for base or $43K for the CVO model, you can get a whole lot more bike for a lot less money in the sports touring world. The M1000XR with 200HP and carbon wheels, for example, is $10K less than this CVO 🤷♂️
Hello, new The 2024 Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide ST it's very cool! And you tested the team Motorcycle in a racetrack in Las Vegas was spectacular and cool!
I'm a Harley fan, but the price is a tough pill to swallow. I would like to have one. I test road one, and it is a nice bike .The best stock Harley I've ridden. I test road a CVO Street Glide and liked the Street Glide 117 much better.
I can't imagine the power figures that a sport-tourer with an inline 4 nearly 2000cc would make from any of the big 4 or european brands. Just think of it for a moment, ~700 pounds with a 2000cc engine that's actually somewhat efficient, they'd have to be north of 180 ft lbs and well over 250hp. Might as well just propose the idea to Suzuki and have them call it "Misairu".
They just can’t figure out the concept of a rod legal king of the baggers bike, we don’t need a stereo, tv screen and so on and so forth, we want a thinly veiled race bike, yall.
So just shy of 2 litres engine capacity, 381kg wet weight and 127hp 145ftlb torque. How are they doing so badly in power to weight? And what the hell is that front headlight cowling?! Horrible design, horrible engineering and carbon panels on an ugly heifer of a bike doesn't work either - pointless when the bike is a 381kg pig and all the panels looks like horrible cheap crap and brakes and suspension are budget bin anyhow. Almost £39k/$43k and you don't even get particularly good suspension.
$43K is a lot of Skrilla! For that kind of money, this CVO performance bagger, out the box, should be making at least 150HP, preferably at the wheel. Customers shouldn’t have to spend anything extra to get that kind of performance boost.
No thanks I’ll save my money and get a BMW s1000r or better yet Kawasaki H2SX … HD wants $40k plus for that smh… you can buy 3 awesome motorcycles that are better in hp weight to power and qtr mile under $40k than wasting your money on this HD pig

45k for a road glide is too much. What are you hearing about re 2025 Challenger?
ok
@@gonzalezt7081 ok what? Okie dokie
@@MattieXMoto ok whatever
"THREE INCHES OF SUSPENSION TRAVEL" matches the "finger" length of most owners😂
ok
IMHO it’s the holy Grail for Harley Davidson in the 2024 model year!
Sadly, the audience they are aiming for can’t afford to throw down this kind of cash for a scooter.

Very nice fridge you have there on wheels... but, but where is the bike?
Race it against an 85 Goldwing
Ninja H2 just entered the chat 😂
Put a cam and suspension in my 22 RG to basically achieve similar power and handling. I'm in it for waaaaay less than $43G!
Sure you did buddy
True… but it won’t be a CVO
Yeah but you won’t look as cool bar hopping on the weekends 😂
So when is Honda going to release a track-tuned Gold Wing? 🙄😉

Love it.... the white is fabulous... the torque sounds tremendous.
Rear speakers?
Shorter gearing but more on top? Sounds more like the challenger i rode. Great bike😮 good job Harley
Jeez....that's a design for radio isn't it?!

You don't have to imagine. A miata has the same displacement and make more power.
Look at Triumph with the Rocket 3. It actually doesn’t look so different to this Harley….
I'd buy a 2.0L inline-4 Tourer in a heartbeat ... !
i have the 2022 Gen 3 Hayabusa and wish it was at least 1800cc inline 4 . . . if not 2000-2100cc
Quick shift up and down?
1/2 front fender?
No doubt a cooling issue but its gonna kick up some Dirty Spray
The perfect example of another silk purse out of a cow's ear made by Harley for $50,000 no less! My goodness there are plenty of fools.
I work with a guy who bought his fiancé a $14,000 engagement ring. So I agree, a fool and his money will soon part 😊
43K, Screw that!!!!!!!!!!! I can get more than that for almost half the price. My preference is the Goldwing which will be much more reliable.
but it wont be a harley
You said radiator? Radiator on HD....
Do you want those horsepower and torque numbers or not? 😉
They just can’t figure out the concept of a rod legal king of the baggers bike, we don’t need a stereo, tv screen and so on and so forth, we want a thinly veiled race bike, yall.
3" of rear suspension?? for this kind of bike..especially for this price.. such a letdown.
Heavier bikes Need that extra torque. Nice looking bike but not really a race bike.
Nifty bike, but im very happy with my Road King Special.
this vid is getting a lot of none riders comments..sitting in a honda civic
100%!!!
43k.. hahahahahahha
Goodbye vvt. Too heavy, not enough engine tech, average performance
I test rode the VVT and the CVO st. I didn't like the VVT.

Because "you get to customise the bike" (spend more money to make it functional).
It’s American man relax

I agree
Ride a performance sofa, then judge
Like riding a sofa with a V twin
That is one very ugly motorcycle.
So basically Harley tried to build an Indian and didn’t.
No thanks. Id rather go with an Indian Challenger .
Smith Charles Brown Donna Martinez Melissa
Shitty plastic computer junk for Rubs.Harley is dead.

Exactly! You can get so much more, for so much less $
New fairing looks too much like an ugly Indian. The street glide fairing is ok. Rest of the new bikes are awesome!
Street Glide is 100% better looking bike than Road Glide
