I realize that this is an older post but I only discovered it a few days ago. I have already downloaded the spreadsheet and filled it in. My eyes teared up when I surveyed the finished (semi- finished) end result. I felt compelled to let you know that this is just what I never knew I needed. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your generosity in sharing your knowledge and expertise. I visit my budget daily, tweaking it a bit here and there. I was already budgeting monthly but didn't quite "get" that a yearly budget allows me to reflect on past spending and project future spending. I am so pumped to truly begin liquidating debt now. I don't know if you're doing additional posts but I have subbed your channel. I just had to let you know that you have made a difference in someone's life. Thank you once again.

I've been doing annual budgeting for over 7 years and it helps alot. I highly recommend this method. My only comment against his is going to be on the income rows. It would be better to include a second row below the months to have the fortnightly income and to have tracking on the sinking funds for fixed calendar costs. Otherwise it's an excellent financial decision making tool!

I do talk about bi-weekly (fortnightly) income in the video. Personally, I recommend just putting the income events on a calendar to visualize when those extra paycheck months occur and then note them in the spreadsheet. While not noted in this video, I don't recommend this being someone's tool to track spending. I recommend using budgeting software for that. The software handles the tracking of the sinking funds (i.e. monthly rollover categories).

Click on 'Review' at the top. Then, click on 'Unprotect Sheet'. If it asks for a password, it's 'fcc'.

How would you do a weekly, monthly and annually budget on the same spreadsheet?
I created the monthly budget separately. In fact, I actually use software for my monthly budget. You can find the Excel file, plus information on the software I use in this article: adamhagerman.com/budgeting-for-dummies/
I have to show it all on the one spreadsheet. But am not sure how.
Unfortunately, I don't have them all in one worksheet. You could download the monthly ones from the link I provided and then copy and paste the monthly one into the annual one in a new tab.
Hello and thank you so much for creating this annual easy to use budget and monthly budget. 3 simple questions, how do you delete cells that don't apply to your budget, like HOA? And how do you add cells which you want further information, like if you want to add multiple vacations?

Unless you're a wiz at Excel, I'd advise against deleting entire rows or adding new ones. Since there are formulas and calculations in the file, deleting rows can mess with the calculation and something could be missed.
You could just erase the text (like the HOA you mentioned) and add your own if you prefer.
