Listening to him for 2 years, my portfolio is up 68% (was higher but I lost some on the tech sell off). If he is only right 80% of the time going-forward (vs 100% last 2 years), he is still worth following. I can make tons of money being right 80% of the time. So yes, I bought into small caps.
