All beautiful gowns…and all different! 🤩 The second one in blue is the best! 💙 And yes, my wedding gown was also the the most expensive one I ever wore, but isn’t it mend to be? 💞
Michelle, what a lovely and beautiful model you are with each gown fitted beautifully. I love seeing all the gowns they are exquisite. It’s wonderful to hear the story behind each piece, all the more special. Thank you. 💐
The gowns are gorgeous and you are gorgeous! A stunning collection! I bought an amazing double breasted 40's suit at Boss Vintage here in Denver last year. They have great stuff and I can't wait to go back after the plague ❤
TheClosetHistorian Thank you so much! I’m so glad you enjoyed the collection! Boss Vintage is great! I’ve visited the store in Denver once or twice and hope I can go back!
I will add that to the list of videos to shoot. In all honesty my knowledge of how to wash and care for these dresses is not nearly as vast as others knowledge, but I can share what I do know. Thank you for watching!
I'm glad both you and the yellow bubble dress survived the trip to burning man. I wear jeans and a tshirt to festival and come home looking like ive been dragged backwards through a hedge yet you're wearing a bloody gown? ❤👌
To be fair I only wore it one night and got it dry cleaned as soon as I git home so it wasn’t *that* dusty. If I had been wearing it all week it would have ended up in the bin for sure.
@@mdstanton1813 haha! Just the gown! No heels at all- I wore Keds or sandals the whole week and my hair was a rats nest- SO full of dust! The pics from far away make me look better than I did close up. 😂
The blue flower dress - I saw that on the hanger and remembered how AMAZING it is in person. This video does not even do it justice. It's totally incredible!!!!!!! Love this video!!
Thanks Jen!! I agree that the video doesn't do that dress justice- it really is a stunner! I loved the lambkin purse too- I think I got more compliments on the purse than the dress, lol!
the gorgeous lilac gown is still my favourite because of the colour, but you look like a goddess in the gown you got from your mom, especially with the crown
The second dress is actually a Lanvin dress created under the direction of Antonio del Castillo, who was hired as creative director after the death of Jean Lanvin.
I generally have them dry cleaned or will sometimes soak them, depending on the fabric content. If they’re more fragile I store them flat in an under the bed box but I do have the sturdier pieces hanging. I’m not an expert and there’s lots more to know about cleaning and storage but that has served me well so far.
Incredible selection. Impossible to pick a favourite. They're all so beautiful.
Thank you! I love them all too! Thanks for watching!
Just wow, Michelle!!! What a beautiful collection! I swoon for each and every one of them...
Kaia Kakós Thank you so much for watching and so glad you enjoyed all of the gowns so much! ❤️

Would you be able to do a video on how you properly care for and wash these vintage dresses and other garments? Please! :D

@@MyVintageLove ahhh ok now I understand. I was confused thinking hair, heels, gown + desert =...?

Wow! I love them all so much! The first purple especially, caught my heart. It has such interesting construction!
Thank you! I love that one too! The construction is fascinating!

Also, the lambkin purse was a winner!

Thank you so much for the info! I've always wondered!
Love your collection! They all fit really well - have you had some alterations or are you lucky to fit a standard vintage size?
I'm just very lucky to be a standard vintage size. I think the only one I had altered was the first one, and I had to have the hips let out.
How do you clean and store your vintage gowns after wearing them to ensure longevity?
I generally have them dry cleaned or will sometimes soak them, depending on the fabric content. If they’re more fragile I store them flat in an under the bed box but I do have the sturdier pieces hanging. I’m not an expert and there’s lots more to know about cleaning and storage but that has served me well so far.
Your instagram is truly amazing !
Thank you so much! So glad you're enjoying it!
What are the decades for all the dresses?
They range from the 1930s-50's. I think I mention the decade during each description.
It would be interesting to see the shoes collection, sometimes they grabbed my attention more than the dresses 😅
Iyelaful It’s pretty just the Balboa shoe by Remix shoes. I have them in a few different colors and they’re my go-to shoe.
Why would you insert name for drug “lsd” at 7:55 and “mdma” at 8:00?
If you are unfamiliar with Burning Man, look it up. I think you'll get the idea.
Can you adopt me?
Bring the dog and you have a deal.
lmao! done. but you have to give her vintage outfits and take pictures of her
Jenai Chin Girl, you know I would take ALLL the pictures with her!! 😂❤️
