    As a South African, we are usually used to being pretty detached from all the media we consume.
    So seeing someone I really love to watch sing South Africa's praises is so surreal.
    Thank you Joey!

    Nah man the real fun is the scuffed lion parks in the more rural areas. Last time I went the ranger guy is like "You want to meet Sebastian? He's our young lion we're raising." And I thought, oh cool I get to play with a lion cub. Dude takes us out back to the farm house and we go around a corner and there is a near fully grown motherfucking male lion chilling behind a literal, utterly meaningless, waist high fence. I'm trying to consider whether shitting myself would make me either more or less tasty and this ranger son of a bitch says "Yeah we have to keep him locked away now he's probably going to hurt someone while playing and kill them otherwise ha ha ha." To be fair he was pretty chill and came up to get pets... but fuck that noise, never again lol.

    Gigguk doesnt make an Ennies lobby referance.

    You guys got Voll Damm in Japan? Despite the Germanic trappings, it is indeed a Spanish beer, brewed in Barcelona by the same guys that make Estrella Damm (not to be confused with other Spanish beers also named Estrella like Estrella Galicia or Estrella de Levante).

    My grand-father went to Africa a lot. Not the country South Africa, but a lot of other African countries. (Like a lot of trips to Namibia, or just recently he was in Egypt. (And that at his age!) xD
    But I will probably never visit South Africa (or Africa in general). I don’t have anything against it, but I don’t have that much money, so I rather use the money I have for visiting countries I personally am more interested in. ;)

    • @splashafrica
      @splashafrica Год назад +1

      Counter intuitive logic south africa is typically a cheaper destination as far as I'm aware

    • @spiele_maus
      @spiele_maus Год назад

      @@splashafrica When I have the option to choose between 2 trips to South Africa vs. one trip to country I am interested in (like for example I want to visit Shanghai, Korea or the UK one day, and of course Japan is always great destination ) then I normally choose the country I am actually interested in cuz then I feel like having spent the money better.
      You understand what I mean?

    • @splashafrica
      @splashafrica Год назад +1

      @@spiele_maus I get it you concerned over the value of the trip not being intrestin South Africa is why seems far fetched to me... stunning coastlines dramatic mountainscapes huge areas of untamed bushveld starkly beautiful semi-deserts lakes waterfalls spectacular canyons forests and wide plains plus Cape Town undeniably one of the most beautiful cities in the world largely malaria free mild winters sunny summers and that's just the nature aspect but yeah I'd take a pilgrimage to Japan too if it came up

      Eh, technically it's still illegal to buy or sell, and you can only really grow for personal use. However, I think most people just don't give a fuck and it'll probably be fully legalized and, unfortunately, taxed and regulated soon.

    ah south Africa, such a strange place.
    as far as i know, nowhere else has created an under car button activated flamethrower to prevent excessive car jackings.
    there's also the fact it's kinda sorta still an apartheid area, if you've seen the line (literally a big dirt strip) between the Africans, and whites,and the difference is glaring.

    • @funkmasterx6825
