I love these videos and my kids do too! Since the release of the classified line I have been regressing back into my childhood again (lol) collecting figures, rereading my old comics and showing the old animated series to my kids. My oldest has really gotten into the original ARAH comic from Marvel like I did as a kid in the 80's. Both my boys love these comprehensive breakdowns of the characters, and I love them because I always seem to learn something new about each one every time also! Thank you!
Breaker was my first Joe. And I have a regional connection to the character, as Gatlinburg, TN is only 90 minutes away from my hometown of Kingsport, TN.
I always wondered (as one of the original Joes) why Hama made Gatlinburg his home town? Gatlinburg is known for a ski resort, close proximity to the Smoky Mountains, and today is home to one of the best aquariums in the country. It is also close to tourist traps like Dollywood, Dixie Stampede, and a host of other attractions. Either Hama knew someone from Gatlinburg, or more simply, Gatlinburg was a place in Tennessee a Yankee was liable to visit in the 70s and 80s.
Something I need to say, you know how the G.I.Joe cartoon had an original character named Sparks who like Breaker and Dial-Tone was a comunications officer, well I've heard some say Breaker only apeared frequently in the original mini series but when Sparks was introduced Breaker was phased out of the cartoon. This is false information, Sparks only apeared in a few parts of the revenge of cobra mini series and one episode of the series proper, heck Sparks wasn't even on the team anymore after that, Breaker on the other hand apeared many times in the first, second, and third season of the G.I.Joe animated series even after the toys discontinuation in 1985, Breaker wasn't phased out of the cartoon until the fourth seaon of the cartoon when the new comunications officer Dial-Tone was introduced. I don't know where anyone got the idea that Breaker was underused in the cartoon in favor of sparks, but all I can say is that, that is false information.
@@JLSComics The file cards for each group list the general backgrounds of each group like crimson guardsmen are lawyers and such You could do profiles on the "Fred" CGs, who created the BATs and for what purpose and their limitations such as they aren't able to distinguish between friend or foe on the battlefield and so forth
My first Joe and I still learned some things! Thanks for this. :D
Very cool! I love hearing feedback like this 😎👍

Wasn't his last appearance in the cartoon was staying behind in that alternate universe with Steeler to help restart G.I. Joe?
Sweet 👍

Did NOT know he was part of MAC v SOG. If you want to read about some real American heroes read about that. Great video!
Thanks Roc!
2:14 how long did it take Hawk to say ''up a mountain'' after telling Breaker they were going for a run?
lol 😂
Breaker was G.I.Joe figure I ever got along with the Rapid Fire motorcycle.
Nice!
Here’s a weird question, would JLS ever talk about Elephant Men?
I’ll have to go back and re-read the series
@@JLSComics good luck and happy reading
