For third world countries like India, USSR was a great partner. That special relationship is continuing through Putin's Russia. Let it be the Technology transfers or the Russian Vetoes on Kashmir in the UNSC, Russia has been the most important partner for India

2:10 Shekhar ji the soviet GDP figures are widely disputed because of the central command structure of the economy. Strictly speaking a Market with free floating prices is required for economic calculations, the Soviets had abolished both and all production was centrally controlled.
The GDP figures of the USSR are all estimated using various methods, but none of them were directly measured.
The standard of living in the USSR was never anywhere near the US in its entire existence. They boasted about their production numbers, but inefficiently producing a lot of low quality industrial goods does not produce a good standard of living.

China has learnt the right lessons from the dismantling of USSR. It courted the west particularly the US. It liberalised its economy in 1979 and entered the WTO all under the patronage of the US. Rapid economic growth, improved living standards and booming middle class gave much needed political legitimacy to the CCP. But its gains are facing a reversal due to the ultra-nationalistic policy of xi who has alienated important trading partners like the US and Europe. It is also trying to undermine credible and sucessful organisations often touted as the right alternatives to the west dominated international order like brics. Economic slump and internal discontent generated by the pandemic is posing a serious challenge to the regime. Moreover, the purge unleashed by xi to weed out political rivals, possible threats and curb dissent within the State is rendering it unstable. Voices of change and disagreements are going up rather than dying down.

😂With your perception, you won't be able to understand China in 100 years, let alone compete with it. In any case, whether you define China as an enemy or a competitor, first thing, recognize your opponent correctly.

Russia was possessed by a "Demon". In the "Fatima Letters" the "Virgin Mary" stated that the "Bishop in White" and all this "Bishops" and to "Consecrate Russia". when that happened Russia fell apart and Soviet Union eventually lost and collapsed. It will not rise again.

Both Russia and China are old agricultural empires not, industrial ones. Currently both are collapsing. Which means American is one one left standing and is only Super Power left in world.

Dec. 27, the Chinese government announced that it will build a dam on the Yalung Tsangpo River three to five times larger than the Three Gorges Dam. If India wants water, it must compromise with China on territorial issues. This is an official decision and will remain unchanged. India must not forget that China is in control of its water sources. India has no choice but to choose yes or no.

I won't mince my words, sir. You're nothing more than a sycophant for the rich. You'll never be a billionaire, but people like you spend your lives peddling the notion that some individuals deserve to rake in millions of rupees per minute, while the rest of us toil endlessly to fatten their wallets.
according to lackeys like you- personal wealth of the rich one percent translates as national pride.

Russia is old agricultural city state of Moscow, it has never been a world power. It has nuclear weapons but Russians are not very good at developing their economy and so it is collapsing again this 21th time it has collapsed. So you need to make sure you are allied with the Americans.
