This is a inexpensive radio for anyone just getting started in ham radio. There are links in description for the radio and information on getting your license.
You can get a case for your radio at buy two way radios. It costs 14.99. Look for the leather case for TYT MD-380 radio. It will fit your radio perfectly. I have the md 380 and the tyt uv88d which is the same radio as yours. I use the case on both radios and it’s a perfect fit even with the larger battery.
I don't think there is a way to skip channels during scanning. You can set 3 different kinds of scanning but that's it on the radio. You'll have to put them to skip in the programming software and manually scroll through them when you're out and about. Please let me know if you ever find a way to do it! It would be a nice feature. Really is a nice little radio

And yes it has to be programmed to skip channels in the software. wish I could skip channels through keypad.
The buy two way radios is a web site but I couldn’t link it together because I guess you tube rejects other website links!
