Wow, the middle guy in the white t-shirt and blue vest had an incredibly fast reaction time. The instant he stood up the other 2 guys also got ready to act. The 3rd guy (furthest seat) had the slowest reaction time but ended up being the one to tackle the thief. Awesome teamwork by all 3 guys. The minority of people that are willing to get involved will still need 1 or 2 seconds to decide their move in a chaotic situation but these folks reacted in less than half that time, especially the middle guy. Also absolutely critical was the woman screaming to get everyone's attention.
3rd guy wanted to be sporting and give his slower buddies a head start. 🏃♂

Wow! That's so wonderful people got involved to help. It restores my faith in humanity. My dog was recently attacked by a pit bull while we were walking in our neighborhood. My dog ran off and I needed to find her. I called out for people to help me, but nobody did. I saw people in their driveways looking at me, but no one helped. It was heartbreaking.

Previous DA, nothing will happen since the police wasn't involved initially. Current DA, I have some faith in her that she'll charge the perp. SF judges, will let the perp go with time served.

As for this criminal, I would advise that he doesn't come to rural counties and try this because up here in the Sierras, a large portion of residents, both men and women, have concealed carry permits.
