This is without a doubt one of the best compliments my channel has ever received, hahah! Thank you so much. It's growing slowly, but steadily. When I get around to start uploading again and more regularly, it will grow faster 😁
I just got a Dutch oven online for a great price, and when it arrived yesterday I said, first thing after washing it, was that today my bread recipe is going RIGHT into it! There's no other way to make your bread! Thanks for a great tutorial. :)
Absolutely! Using a Dutch oven is in my opinion, one of the most reliable and easy ways to make awesome bread. And let's not forget that it's always an exciting moment when you can finally lift the lid and see the result! :)
What a lovely comment, thank you so so much! I actually felt a sense of fulfillment when I read it, knowing that someone gave the recipe a try and loved the result 😊❤
Dollar Tree has 8" dog water bowls that work as well as Dutch ovens. However, they are light, don't need to be preheated, and cost $2.50 for a bread pan and a cover. Remove the rubber ring and the labels.
Wow. I was always told that salt would kill the yeast if they come in direct contact. I make bread of this type, but the process is different. Nice to learn something new!
Indeed, I was always told the same thing. Apparently however, there needs to be a LOT more salt for it to be an issue. If I have to be honest, this process has already "surprised" me a couple of times by having the dough expand a bit too much during the main rising stage, so I'd say we are totally safe to combine the salt and yeast and it's not an issue 😁
I'm so happy to hear that you liked the recipe! It really is a very delicious one and if you decide to bake one for yourself, I'm sure you'll love it :)
It's the very basic store-bought dry yeast. But fresh yeast would also work just fine. I think you'll just have to use a bit more, since as far as I remember it was not as "strong" as the dry yeast. If I remember correctly, if a recipe calls for let's say 5 grams of dry yeast, if you're using fresh yeast instead, it must be double that, so 10 grams of the fresh.
This channel is criminally underrated.

Makes me wish I had an oven to make bread. Can you make focaccia? That’s my favorite. Big bubble focaccia is popular.
Not yet, but that's a good reminder to start practicing, since it's always been on my mind 😁

Dutch oven is my all-time choice:)
Absolutely, I'd say it's mine too. I can't remember making bread any other way in the past year. :)
Absolutely delicious 😋

Which type of yeast do you use?

Thx so much!
