Watch the Booyah Cup Cricket final between Danny Baggish and Leonard Gates. I think it was even better because it was longer and the match closer. Both were averaging above 6.0 Cricket!

Videos like this really help me learn how the best players strategize. Until i can throw like they throw i have to learn the strats to at least be competitive with some of the higher skill players.
I've watched and played darts and cricket specifically for years and I've never witnessed a match of this caliber ever. To maintain that level of accuracy and scoring in a championship match no less was truly mind blowing. I just wonder if they themselves weren't thinking the same thing after the match.

Then we wonder why all of the Americans pros suck compared to Europeans 😂. We getting better though gates and baggish are good just can’t string together enough good matches in a row to get deep into competition . One day maybe
Considering this is in Vegas and the last event on a Friday closing in on dinner time... Wouldn't you be tempted to enjoy Vegas lol we can't blame people for leaving. Many were watching on our live feed.
You're not stupid, I thought the same thing. I think it's tricky because these guys are so good you expect the double bull to be purposeful and meaningful to the score. You don't see a lot of other instances in this match where there are wasted marks like you are used to.@@Onizuka2121
When throwing 1 dart for the bull at the start of a leg, why do you get a second dart if your first bounces out? It doesn't seem right to me. If your dart bounces out it bounces out... unlucky but you shouldn't get a second dart at it.
@david tibbo do you get to re-throw a dart if it bounces out during the cricket game? Like if I throw for the treble 20, it bounces out, but I can throw it again because it only counts if it's in the board? Or does that rule only exist when throwing for the bull at the start of a leg? Sorry, I'm new with the cricket so trying to understand the rules and tactics. It's a great game and should be played more in the UK... it's a nice change from 501.
@@paulwilliams9381 Its a general rule. Not only in cricket. When you bull to determine who will start the game only darts that stick in the board are counting. If there is a bouncer while bulling this dart does not count and you are allowed to throw again :)
I have always had mixed feelings about the rule. If someone corks first and say they are just outside the bull, the second players corks and it doesn't stick, he throws again after already having a shot at it. So essentially he had a warmup throw. So I don't always agree but it is the rule , dart has to stick.
I guess to answer the question of what happens if both darts bounce. If I throw and bounce out, then YOU throw and bounce out, who goes first if the rule isn't "darts must be in the board to count as a cork"?
Puleo literally whooped gates rear! gates just wasnt concentrating on the scores! lots of pub dart mistakes by him! which is a shame as he's a damn good player as a rule!
