I remember going through an entire ordeal to apply and renew my F1 student visa every year to get to the states. I needed to have all my ducks in order, a lot of applicants got rejected, and it was always a big deal when you got issued a US visa. Seeing this is low key upsetting, granted I wouldn’t want to cross the rio grande and get processed by ICE, but goddamn if that’s all it takes to get to the US why would you bother paying and applying the legal way to gain entry.
You can just drive to the US, no need to cross the rio grande if you're not a criminal on some list. All of these people are criminals. Otherwise they'd just immigrate legally like normal humans.

You know, I initially viewed Abbott’s decision to ship all of the migrants from Texas to the rest of the country as a petty and short-sighted move, but I have to say, it was a pretty brilliant idea. It’s the only thing that’s gotten blue cities and states to really feel the pain of the migrant crisis, and it’s starting to get the entire country on the same page.

I still cannot believe de santas wants to run for president, you should see the mess that Florida has been in as one of the main flood gates of hell for these things. you should be able to clean up your own yard and take care of your own citizen people first before you could even consider running a country.

I remember my experience as an european student, my life goal was to see the US, I had to go through interviews and paperwork to get the papers for a J1 visa not to mention the fact that I paid around 4000$ just to be there. I worked all summer and i had to declare my second job, my rent relocation and everything so i won t get terminated. One time I was sick and they said they won t accept my student insurance at an urgent care…. I won t lie but seeing how some migrants are treated and then comparing it to my experience frustrates me.
It is frustrating. I'm a US born citizen. 12 years ago I developed lupus and had to drop out of college. I haven't been able to find work because of constant joint pain. I'm pretty much house bound. Took me 8 years to get medicaid and I'm still being denied disability.

Im a child of a European immigrant. My whole dads side is immigrants/ still in ireland. Some of my family are Illegal because they don’t have a choice. Many times, children or teenagers do not even realize that they are overstaying their visas and often, it’s literally their only choice. Thats our country’s problem, it is so ridiculously expensive to immigrate to the US. For a central American family, It costs the average salary times 2-3 just to legally enter the Us. It has historically never been this expensive and that’s because corporations do not want more means of labor in the Us instead of building products in Developing countries. Its a big issue. Another thing, many of these immigrants aren’t illegal and are asylum seekers but they are labeled as Illegal. We need so much better reform in the US to move our country back to its prime. Cut government spending, put corporations in their place, actually give state healthcare and education instead of paying hospitals and insurance companies which will then double dip and charge fees from victims again. Ridiculous society we live in. Epipens are 4$ in Ethiopia and 600$ here. It’s ridiculous
