I just had a friend develop heart issues. He cant get an appointment anywhere in NM with a cardiologist until SEPTEMBER OF 24. Not ONE of our local PCPs is accepting new patients because of the massive strain on the health care system from migrants. I recently left Denver and the homeless situation was out of control. There is a SEVERE housing shortage there already that has caused those with what are considered decent income jobs to be pushed out. There is no place to put these migrants! Even if they did find places for these people, when they eventually want them to stand on their own they won’t be able to afford living there! All the while increasing the homeless population but not providing housing for the current citizens that NEED it. It’s a basic observation. How does the voting majority not see it?!

I recently left Denver and the homeless situation was out of control. There is a SEVERE housing shortage there already that has caused those with what are considered decent income jobs to be pushed out. There is no place to put these migrants! This is one of the worst decisions that could have been made. Even if they did find places for these people, when they eventually want them to stand on their own they won’t be able to afford living there! All the while increasing the homeless population but not providing housing for the current citizens that NEED it. It’s a basic observation. How does the voting majority not see it?!
