This maneuver is similar to that of herding a cattle, but instead of horses with cowboys they use speedboats with sailors and instead of shooting in the air they throw flares into the water.
Once the dolphins are grouped and directed to the right place, the long boat the panga which carries the head of the net and the boat begins to surround the herd of dolphins and the tuna swims beneath them. Once the fence is completed, the panga pierces the head of the net and begins to collect the steel guaya that will close the lower part of the net to complement the catch. For this the boat has a large winch that is responsible for collecting the guaya steel on both sides until the eyebolts or rings are added complementing the enclosure.
