This is so right. Me and a couple friends started learning the game at the same time. With a deep appreciation for Captain Falcon mains I initially forced every move in every situation just to see what happens. I ended up losing a lot and experimenting alot as a result. One of my friends started playing as Marth and refused to learn tech, only playing using basic movement and c stick spamming with no aerials. My friend quit the game within a week and I put the game down after him but I never quit forever. I've picked up Melee again recently and I've been playing better every week consistently. I think this is because I learned quicker than he did as I wasnt camping and waiting to c stick in every engagement. If thats all you ever did then of course you would get bored and not want to play, because the game would be very shallow if camping was the only thing anyone did in neutral.
The other day I played a Ganon who really liked to camp, really only went for shield grabs. Very defensive play style. He beat me like 5 games in a row. I eventually learned to adapt, stop doing bad approaches, and I beat him. He left right after. I learned a lot in those games. I don't think he learned anything.
Loved the video!! The ending with the exp argument was a bit messy, cause you only had two cases to compare to each other. But overall, very funny and educational
@@tigerlotusgaming thank you so much, im new to melee and your video is giving me a lot to think about, it’ll also be cool to see what rank players that i go even with is so i can see what level i’m on roughly
"neutral is when neither player has struck each other, they have no advantage over each other, and no disadvatage either. This is the default state the game starts in" I disagree with nearly every thought here.
thinly veiled anti-camping propaganda created by a ganondorf main, kinda based honestly
LMAO
The Pokémon XD & Colosseum music was a nice touch. Keep up the good work homie.
Glad you liked it! All about some tasteful music
