@@pickedceasar1216 I don't think it's so much references as it is adaptations. References are little things in the background or hidden in the art/dialouge that's fun if you catch it. These were just straight up retellings of the stories. And I appreciate that. It's what the MCU could and should have been.

As a Kid, he was one of my favourite characters! Along with Count Neferia and Goliath. Love the energy forms and powers like that I’ve always been a fan
I was hoping a mention of him living 1000 years into the future to become Hollywood in the Guardians. Different timeline I know but it shows his longevity.

Didn't they originally say WM was strong as Giant-Man, fast (durable?) as Iron Man and had fists as powerful as Thor's hammer? He's the hero that made me rethink my view on how cool having super strength would be and changed my view of Superman and strong types. It was a Defender's issue he guest starred in where, when startled, he turned suddenly and tore a chunk out of a computer he was holding. I hope they do him justice when/if he makes it to the big screen live action. Oh and I really want to see either a comic or a cartoon adaption of some of his in-universe shows.
I still have the Avengers comics where Wonder Man sports the original red and green costume. I've always rated him, though the one thing that irritates me about him is he always compares himself to Thor! He says *"I'm in a class only Thor can touch"* nearly all the time! But the bromance between Simon and Beast is classic!

He worked for Count Nefaria alongside Whizzer and Living Laser until Nefaria had their powers enhanced. As they were sent against the Avengers, Nefaria had the same doctor provide him the enhanced power of all three villains.

Yeah he did. There was one story where Rogue absorbed Deadpool’s healing factor and it basically acted as a circuit breaker that allowed Rogue to be able expel Simon from her body and he was able to have his own again.
Sometimes when you watch these kinds of videos you get wrapped up in the stories and lore forgetting the silliness of comics back in the day, until they pronounce something differently from what you thought it'd be in your head snapping you back to reality
Wonder Man is an old-school Avenger, one of the earliest, who rarely gets well-written these days. He's always been one of my favorites. I have his first comic which was him becoming head of security for research organization similar to Project Pegasus but he got fired because his duties with the Avengers got in the way. It was a single issue comic.
Losing track of his history in the 90 when I stopped collecting comics its nice to see how things turned out. I remember him flying sooner though didnt he have hip rockets that were tired directly to his powers?

Really excited about the rumors of him getting a movie cause of the potential with him and bringing Vision back from white vision Like I could see him maybe being one of the people that helped build white vision but after seeing how much og Vision meant to Wanda he'd want to try to give him back his emotions but since he doesn't have any of the original brain patterns/AI/Infinity Stone used to make the originals emotions he has to use his and maybe it's a movie or series about discovering who Vision really is and introducing Wonderman Though that'd probably work better as a sequel so Wonder man doesn't get too upstaged

The pacifist angle was such a waste of a great character. Wonder Man was created to be be an Engine of Distruction! It seemed like Marvel intentionally tried to make him less appealing. Maybe they'll bring back Alex in the show and Wanda gets jealous of them.

Tihs is why Wonder Man and Rogue are my favorites, they both started as villians, they were used and taken advantage of, they each joined their hero teams on probationary basis, they proved to have changed their ways, they both earned the trust of their teamates and became superheroes, then icons! That's why I stand behind them! I read theAvengers issue when Rogue attempted to absorb Wonder Man's powers! That night,1981 I dreamt those two would become icons, then I woke up, was visited by a devine premonition from the astral plane! It showed Wonder Man and Rogue becoming Marvel's greatest superheroes, then they would change the comics industry for all time! The next morning and since then, I've followed these two and been a fan since! I saw their future as husband and wife, how that still can happen if Rogue get's sick of Gambit's immaturity and leeching off her success, then if she get's with Wonder Man, they will be the icon couple of the superhero world!

@Merry Marvelite, you left out the part where Wonderman became Nuklo 'the nuclear man' who the Avengers ended up sealing into a pod then dropping into a pool of wet cement to keep him and the radiation from leaking out and poisoning people. That was I believe, the first time he had returned after his apparent death when he had betrayed the Avengers. It's just a small but (maybe?) important point.
I didn't know that Wonder Man, despite having hung around with the Avengers for awhile, was not even a full member until issue 194, shortly before the team meet the Taskmaster.

That cartoon was awesome. It stuck fairly tight to comics storylines. A Lot tighter than the trash that tried to gain hype from the movies.

I love that question. Not many people know about that character. It be an epic fight that’s for sure. I possibly with give the edge on Wonderman.

Tihs is why Wonder Man and Rogue are my favorites, they both started as villians, they were used and taken advantage of, they each joined their hero teams on probationary basis, they proved to have changed their ways, they both earned the trust of their teamates and became superheroes, then icons! That's why I stand behind them! I read theAvengers issue when Rogue attempted to absorb Wonder Man's powers! That night,1981 I dreamt those two would become icons, then I woke up, was visited by a devine premonition from the astral plane! It showed Wonder Man and Rogue becoming Marvel's greatest superheroes, then they would change the comics industry for all time! The next morning and since then, I've followed these two and been a fan since! I saw their future as husband and wife, how that still can happen if Rogue get's sick of Gambit's immaturity and leeching off her success, then if she get's with Wonder Man, they will be the icon couple of the superhero world!

@Merry Marvelite, you left out the part where Wonderman became Nuklo 'the nuclear man' who the Avengers ended up sealing into a pod then dropping into a pool of wet cement to keep him and the radiation from leaking out and poisoning people. That was I believe, the first time he had returned after his apparent death when he had betrayed the Avengers. It's just a small but (maybe?) important point.

I didn't know that Wonder Man, despite having hung around with the Avengers for awhile, was not even a full member until issue 194, shortly before the team meet the Taskmaster.
