So, until either my hat or I get lost and die, we will adventure on the water together

I watched out of order. I was wondering why you guys didn't fish on your second trop there.I know you were packing lighter, but fishing poles aren't that heavy.
There are so many factors involved in your question that I can not answer it. What works for me might not work for you. Warbonnet makes some great hammocks. Superior gear makes great hammocks. My experience with both has been fantastic.

Every time I take this hat on a trip I consider retiring it. In fear of losing it. This hat is priceless. As much as I fear losing it, deep down I know my grandfather would rather I use it and lose it than hang it on a shelf for safe keeping. So, until either my hat or I get lost and die, we will adventure on the water together
Thats an awesome story thank you for sharing. Enjoy the hat, I brought it up because my dad has one similar for fishing the long Island sound many years ago. Relish the memories and wear it with pride no matter how faded
“It looked like the British fleet coming for us”. 08:30 😂 Oh no, not the British! 😉
Hahahahahaha! I was terrified when we saw those canoes coming.
You forgot your surfboard?! 😊
🤣
I watched out of order. I was wondering why you guys didn't fish on your second trop there.I know you were packing lighter, but fishing poles aren't that heavy.
We did this trip after fishing season closed. Kinda sucks. It is a wonderful time of year for canoe tripping...but no fishing
@ItsGoodintheWoods It definitely looked like an awesome trip though, especially the part of not seeing anyone.
what do you recommend for a hammock and non-traditional tent for camping while on a canoe trip.
There are so many factors involved in your question that I can not answer it. What works for me might not work for you. Warbonnet makes some great hammocks. Superior gear makes great hammocks. My experience with both has been fantastic.
