    UPDATE:1 year and still cranks within the first 2-3 pulls. Probably will buy another when this one finally does bite the dust ruclips.net/user/postUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX . No issues at all. Very happy with it.UPDATE: After 6 months of use and over 70 uses I would still highly recommend this pressure washer. It does vibrate a decent amount but never had it “walk” like others have mentioned. No oil leaks, still seems to run like the day I bought it. Still cranks within 2-3 pulls every time. Very happy with my purchase!Have used it about a dozen times now. Plenty of power, cranks up on 1-2 pulls every time. My only complaint would be I wish it was a little taller to make it easier to walk with it (hits my ankles a lot) and that the two hose connections were a little further apart but it hasn’t caused me any issues. Seems to run a good 1-1/2-2 hrs on a full tank, overall a well built machine and definitely worth the money in my opinion.

    I went all in with the entire line of products that you recommend. The Active 52, MJJC foam cannon, all the quick disconnect fittings including the 15 to 14mm adapter, 50ft hose and even the garden hose by flexzilla. I will let you know how it all works In early spring. Thank you so much for doing all the ground work for me.

      Hi Thomas, You just need a quick connect for the hose side to attach to the swivel quick connect that comes with that wand. Heres a whole kit amzn.to/3CP6vxk
      or you can just get this as this attachment is really the only one you need. amzn.to/37LYsmw

    I bought the Mkellans pressure gun and the Griots brilliant Shine Foam cannon. The quick connect that comes with the Mkellans gun is to big to connect properly to the foam cannon. I have a Suzuki 3100 PSI pressure washer and am concerned that when I put a smaller quick connect on the gun, it will have too much pressure to function properly. Any recommendations, The old gun with the smaller quick connect that came with the pressure washer works fine with the Foam Cannon.

    • @Ryan_H22
      @Ryan_H22 3 года назад +1

      Mosmatic swivels are super nice, smooth, and swivel under pressure (which the cheap Amazon / eBay swivels do not do) but cost more than a new McKillan's gun with swivel but you can adapt one to any fixed input gun, it just adds length.

    • @alangray2316
      @alangray2316 3 года назад +1

      @@Ryan_H22 okay, think that may be a little steep for me for now,I am waiting for gun to arrive, didn't know if could just replace the m22 fitting for a swivel fitting.All the different size and kinds of fittings mess with my head..lol

    • @Ryan_H22
      @Ryan_H22 3 года назад +1

      @@alangray2316 Without tearing the gun down I can't say for sure if you can or can't just remove the m22 from the gun and add a swivel to the factory pipe, but my guess is... not directly. I tore my cheap gun down and sunk my mosmatic swivel into the handle as a little side project. I have a decent amount of tools but still had to pick up a 1/8" NPT die to thread the pipe and a 3/8 NPT to 1/8 NPT adapter to join the swivel to the pipe, then cut the snot out of the inside of the plastic case to kinda sorta fit the case around the swivel. It's not terrible and was kind of a fun project as I enjoy that kind of thing and already had the Mosmatic swivel but honestly, the McKillans with swivel for less than 40 bucks direct is the much easier solution and it's less for the gun ready to go than what you'd have in getting a swivel and the necessary hardware to attach it. Even if the McMKillans swivel isn't up to Mosmatic quality I'd think you'd be happier just buying a ready to go gun.

    • @Ryan_H22
      @Ryan_H22 3 года назад +1

      @@alangray2316 The way I did it was definitely the hard way, LOL! Adding a swivel onto the M22 input is way easier. You need the swivel, an adapter to connect the swivel to the M22 and one on the other end for the M22 to go to the swivel. You can get everything on Amazon. You'll end up with about 5" of "stuff" hanging off the gun but it works great. I have two new guns with built in swivels on order ( not McKillans) I like the swivel feature so much. My honest opinion though is save what you'd spend on adding a swivel and fittings and buy a new gun down the line with a swivel built in. The AR MV925 can be found for right around $42.00 with swivel and connections all ready installed as another option. I've read some good things about it but have no personal experience.

    I have watched most of your videos and a ton of others. I'm still not sure which one to get. I think I want one around 2000 psi and 2 gpm? I want one that will last so I think one with a triplex pump would be better. I don't want a junk one that won't last but also don't want to spend an arm and leg either. What would you recommend? Thank you

    • @Ryan_H22
      @Ryan_H22 3 года назад

      Triplex would be perfect but expensive. What your really want is for cars is ~900 to ~1,100 PSI and as close to 2 GPM as possible. About the only really affordable option for those numbers is the Active VE 52 is you're looking to stay in the "budget" area at about 220.00 or so. If you've got the cash AR Blue Clean AR630TSS (under 700.00) and Kranzle K1322TS is just north of a grand but probably the best car detailing PW you can buy. I couldn't afford the AR or Kranzle as a weekend warrior type so I bought the Active and so far I'm loving it.

    There is a significant safety issue with short wands. I was washing window screens and holding the screen with my left hand and using the wand in my right. I happened to spray across the back of my hand (in a fraction of a second) and it almost severed the many blood veins in my hand. So always wear gloves to protect your hands. Or better yet use a long enough extension so it is impossible to spray your hand, arm, leg, face, etc. Never use a short wand with one hand and use the other hand to hold or scrub/wipe whatever you are spraying. Tie your other hand behind your back or put it in your pocket ... or best to use an extension. High pressure water jets are dangerous.

    McKillans Short Pressure Washer Gun with Swivel.
    If a washer gun has a quick connect....then it already has a swivel....same as air compressor fittings.
    Sales gimmick 🤑

      The swivels are designed to still spin under high PSI ie. Anywhere up to and over 2-3,000PSI, quick connects including air fittings such as Nitto, Ryco etc won't spin on their own under pressure, air fittings will turn by hand easier as mostly only under 80-100PSI compared to pressure washers.
