I have 3 of the 24/7 Hygger lights on my 3 tanks. Mine are different as you can set the time & it cycles through at whatever colour & brightness you want. I have it on a dim amber light at 7am that works up to a brighter amber light then at 10am it slowly changes to the full spectrum daylight from dimmer to brighter, then at 6pm it goes back to bright amber & dims down to turning off at 10pm. Fully programmable & I've never seen my fish jump when it comes on like they used to with an on off light. I run the full daylight on 50% as that is bright enough but doesn't form so much algae. It's dropped into the tank several times, you have to pour some water out of the casing but all of the LEDs are working perfectly still. My plants grow extremely well with rich greens & my fish are happy.
I'll do a video on it soon. Well impressive light & didn't cost too much either 😊

I have three and love this model. As per a previous comment the light intensity is remembered if the light is disconnected from power (or there’s a power cut). I use a Wi-Fi smart plug and set it to come on 2 hours after my CO2 turns on an one hour after the CO2 is turned off.

So you can bypass the timer on the cord and actually use a regular time? I would like to use it for 8 hours total, low for 2, then 4 on high, then back down to 2. Do you think this is possible?

I started using those on my tanks last year. The are great. Another thing is that they work with my Home Automation system. They are the only light I tested that will come back on at it's last light level setting. I set them at 60%. All others come back on at 100%.

Just going to ask you if it is possible to use it with just a inexpensive timer, I would like it to go on and off when I want and not use the timer it comes with on the wire? I just haven't tried it myself yet, have it on now at 50% for 10 hours with the timer trying to figure out what level of light I need. Also my 978 does not do 60% light, it goes from 10%,25%,50%,75% and 100%.

I have had hygger lights for several years now.
They are well made and put out a great spectrum.
My only complaint is with the built in timer.
It only allows 3 or 6 or 12 hours, none of which work for me.
Also if you use a mechanical timer of your own, the light will only come on at the brightest setting.
One other thing, if you use the hygger built in timer, the lights stay on all night at a very dim setting.
So other than timers, great light at a great price!

Hygger lights are very good for light ! The problem I've had with all including the digital is the timer keeps shutting off earlier and earlier, I don't know why, I can't believe I'm defective products! I use a timer on those. I have two digital, thought one was defective, bought another did the same thing, I use it because of the quality of the light. I use it on Manuel setting, so I have to turn it off and on, but it's a great, the problem is just timers!

"Party 🥳 lights belong on the ceiling of a local night club, NOT in a serious planted tank!! Also, only having 3 light settings that aren't adjustable ain't cool!
The end result however, seems to be very impressive. Although the lights have a 3 stage brightness level, in a deep 18+ inches water column, one would most likely have to use this light to the fullest potential even with CO² Injection.
