Just got the Hygger 24/7 full spectrum HG075-32W, 30-36inches/ 75-90cm from Amazon for about 76 US$ delivered to my doorstep! Nice light for the price, not the strongest light but enough for most beginners and low tech tanks! I like the timer functions including 24/7 sunrise/sunset.
Hygger has come a long way but from my experience, I have had good luck with them, more specifically the lights. Hygger sent me a very similar one to review as well for promotion. They are a very generous and helpful company. They were very easy to work with I ended up getting a 2nd one for myself because they were doing a half off promotion sale on amazon. Great review though. Thank you! Nice updated memory features.
I agree. I first got experience with Hygger by purchasing lights. Then reached out to them for collaboration, and they are more than willing to help small RUclipsrs. Good company.
I like the hygger lights but living in Florida I have them on timers too. I like the value and price point of the hygger light too. This is a little price jump but well worth it. I am in the process of putting together the equipment, hardscape and plants to build two 75 gal show tanks in my fish room. I haven't pulled the trigger on the lights because I have been debating whether to do a DIY version or buy aquarium lights. You just made up my mind. Thanks. As usual I enjoy and learn something from your videos.
Elatine Hydropiper really is a slow growing plant, I have a super high tech tank with hypothetically perfect conditions for Elatine to grow and yet it still has barely doubled in mass since I put it in there three months ago.
Sorry to hear that. I haven’t had this experience even when I bought the lights pre-sponsorship. I know this does happen but wonder if it is Amazon that re-ships returns or the parent company of the product 🤷🏼♂️ Either way, sorry you got burned twice. As a small business owner myself, I hate to hear customers get burned by companies some times. 😔😔
@ssaquascapes I kept the second one. It didn't look as used as the first but you could still tell. I bought it through your link on that video. It was a great price. And has been growing plants like crazy. Just hated it was used when I bought it as a new one. Thanks for the video bud.
hi,I'm really sorry for your unpleasant shopping experience.Currently all hygger orders are fulfilled by Amazon, including returns and exchanges requested by customers, which are all handled by Amazon warehouses. We don't know why this happened. It may be that someone returned the lamp to the Amazon warehouse, and the Amazon warehouse team did not check it carefully and re-issued it. Sorry again. In this case, you can ask the Amazon warehouse to replace it for you, or you can contact the hygger team to handle it. Thank you.
Yup. It’s been tested that too much blue light can spawn an algae bloom. But, this light seemed ok with no algae growth. Maybe intensity is the main factor. More testing needed to be conclusive. 🤘🤘
Simply put, out of all of Hygger’s lights, I like this model the best and have seen the best plant growth with no algae (balanced). I like this one so much I order 4 of them, which I paid for myself, for my plant rack I am building. I like that I have the remote features if I want but can use it on a timer like the rest of my fish room too.
I have a pile of hygger lights that failed and/or never grew plants well. Maybe it's me and/or my water. So not buying them, but thank you for the video.
I have heard mixed reviews and maybe I am just lucky but, I have never had an issue with any of my Hygger lights. Small or large, all still running fine over a year later (for some). I think for the money, they are replaceable if they fail after 1-2 years. But, If they don’t grow plants well for you, definitely get another brand! As always, thanks for supporting the channel with your view time! 🤘🤘

I live this light and it grows plants well without being so strong it grows algae!

@@ssaquascapes very nice! I might reach out to them again in the near future 👍
I just hooked up two of these lights on my 75g and it looks amazing!
Awesome! Hygger keeps improving their lights and I do enjoy them.
Good review, thanks.
Thank you. I now have 5 of these. My preferred strip light. 🤘

Thanks! Glad I helped your decision and hope the new build goes well
Seems like it's going to qork out great for the carpet. 👍🏼
So far so good. Carpet finally growing in.

Good to know. I have struggled with this damn plant from day 1. 🤣🤣
Maxspec lighting is where it's at. These lights have been amazing.
I’ll look em up. 🤘
I should hope so. Prolly to expensive for most hobbyists
You mean for marine aquariums right?
Great video as always! What the moss at 15:10? I like it
Thanks!
Thank you. The moss is Fissidens Moss.
Man i ordered 2 of the last.onez you reviewed. Loved the light. But both came used. I sent the first one back and the second one came used also.

if salt water is anything to go by, the blue lights do promote algae growth more than red/white

How does this one compare to the 016? I know that one has a remote and 8 programmable light periods throughout the day.

Isn’t the 957 brighter? Is this better than the 957?
I’d have to look up the lumans on both but as far as features, this one is a winner between the two.
