That honey looks so good. It's a labor of love. I remember when my dad had several bee hives. I wasn't much help but I do remember all the work he did with them. Could I also request a live performance of you playing your banjo. I miss those lives you use to do. God Bless you and your family.

Enjoyed the video as always. Everyone wants to purchase my light sourwood, honey, myself ,I prefer a butter biscuit and darker poplar honey.
You don't need a heated knife or any kind of knife.
Just take a fork and rake it over the capped honey to break them up, then put in the extractor.
I have a friend with tons of hives that does that with the fork

Grand to see that machine! You do not have to tool pull those frame. Lay a pair of 2 x 4s under the ends of your super. Press down and the pop down. I think we did a video on their use. Happy harvest!

Honey at the grocery store near where I live (northern Illinois) averages about $7 for a pound and a half...guessing that to be about 13 or 14 fluid ounces.
Beautiful honey!! Such a pretty color! What brand of butcher knife is that? I need to replace mine. They are past the point of being able to sharpen them, so I am looking for something like yours. One more question. Is that an antique sink? I absolutely love it. The entire kitchen is beautiful. I don't think I have saw it since ya'll put the new cabinets in. It looks so pretty!
