  • I invite you to watch the first in a three part video series. It is a method I developed which is an alternative to airbrushing complex camouflage schemes. It will be helpful in especially 1/48 and smaller scales. Note this series is not about the aircraft and their paint scheme accuracies - it is simply a new method to do fine line complex camouflages. #airbrush #paintpen #hs129

    This technique is great. I've been avoiding finishing a Fiat G.50 because of the spotted camouflage I needed to finish it. I ordered the materials, and using a .7mm tip I got the job done and it looks great. I never would have believed it would be so easy. I used Vallejo model air paint, thinned by 25% Vallejo thinner and it went on flawlessly. I let it dry and came back one more time with a second pass at the color. This was a trial run for a Savoia-Marchetti SM.81I've been working on and has sat on my bench four months waiting for me to figure out how to paint on some spots. Thank you again for the great and detailed video.

    such a great idea! I didn't know about these markers, they look beyond helpful!
    I presume every marker must be dedicated to just one color, right? Or are they washable?

    • @KeetoModelWorks
      @KeetoModelWorks  4 года назад +2

      Federico Fiore yeah, one of the lessons I learned about these pens (which will be covered in part 2) is that it is better to use one pen per color...you’ll see why in the next video....it is tragic...😉😊...but at the end of the day the pen is "washable" or re-usable.

    Is this one-use? Or can it be cleaned after? Especially the tip?
