I am getting into the Rancourt brand the opposite way I have the Beefroll traveler loafer, that I love. I have been waiting on seeing the boots in person and your video met that need. I’ll be headed over to the site now to order my pair shortly. Thank you for the review!
I absolutely love the brand, even if they are always behind on orders. As to their popularity they’re more expensive than say Thursdays and they arent goodyear welted. The community kind of ignores non goodyear welted boots as a whole. Rancourt just kind of ends up being a small niche brand. If you want crazy comfort check out the Harrison Redux boots.
Looking forward to the follow-up review after you've had a chance to break them in to your feet. You spoke of them in your Higgins Mill boot review and I guess I should check them out, I've never heard of them but the price doesn't seem outrageous compared to the Truman boots that you reviewed favorably. BTW, nice jigsaw puzzle behind you. That took some time.
How’s the actual fit? I stumbled upon this brand while searching for everyday boots. At the price point, it’s almost too good to be true, considering some other makers cost hundreds more. I have barely D width feet but very low volume. More like flippers! So I am very curious how you found their printout sizing thing and how they actually fit. Thanks!
@@1RunnerDad Great question! I normally wear a 9 1/2 D (always had wide feet!), and I purchased a 9D in the Rancourts. The fit isn't generous, but it is good. This last is slimmer than with Red Wings and Trumans, but I find these boots perfectly comfortable.

You're welcome - I hope you love them!
I have many pairs of their boots & shoes. These are high quality. Support American brands
