- With the War Thunder Event cycle in full swing we have now seen 4 event vehicles with only the object 292 being worth doing since on the War Thunder market is prices of these vehicles is very low compared to the amount of time it takes to do them.

About: War Thunder Market has issues of the new event vehicles not being worth a lot so that means its better off just buying the event vehicles from the Gaijin market instead of doing the events.

Air events drive me insane because it's either a copy-paste vehicle, or a CAS vehicle that is useless in Ground, and sucks ass in Air, *the gamemode you have to grind it in*
Also, on the Marketplace for Console issue, it's mostly Gaijin not being able to do it because Microsoft and Sony want a cut, and they rather just force people to gamble instead of dealing with them
Yea it seems like they have always wanted to make the air reward usable in air and ground, but none of them become good at either game mode.

Plus hadn’t seen an actually good top tier fighter as a reward in forever. It is copy pasted but at least it wasn’t a CAS plane
It made me cringe how you tried to normalize 3-4 hours of DAILY grinding to complete an event. That is a whole ass part time job.
I play WT pretty regurlarly but not religiously, and I play at most 1 to 2 hours every two to three days so I dont understand how you can claim 3 to 4 hours is an easy grind that the average player can hope to get.
I play like 5 matches and call it a day, games are supposed to be entertainment not work
If you do have a job you are literally better off paying 10 bucks or so every two days and get it
3 - 4 hours daily is something most people can do if they enjoy the game. If you aren't able to play that much, you can buy it with money.

Plus why do you get to decide what people should spend their money on. You are literally just defending players spending money on vehicles that could just have been added to the tech tree or sold outright.
Obj 292 has been the only one worth the grind ,and i got it best event tank ive got ,best gun in the game too
Very powerful now if you have the Moderna T80B strela + the old 10.0 lineup vehicles it use to be in.
I love the 292 just for how ridiculous it is. Firing it makes the tank jump which makes me laugh practically every time.
XD he says 3-4 hours of playing casualy "not that hard " man, if you have a 9 to 5 job this is crazy inmagine getting back from work and having to go grind war thunder for 4 hours ant then go straight to sleep and then repeat the same thing for a week or two, thats not even considering daily chores like laundry, cooking food and other activities, at least with how events used to be you could dedicate a week or two to grinding and then you knew there wouldnt be an event for a few months so you could take a brake. #TheGrindIsEternal
You describe 2 problems one being that the events happen way to much now which is true, but also you are given 2 days to complete the task which means you can split up your playtime. I have timed it before on the object 292 event where I could get that task done in 1h and 45mins playing the T18E2 boarhound. 3-4 hours while spading pretty crap vehicles like the M109 and the PLZ83 is imo pretty good considering the vehicles I was playing.
@DawgIVLife yes but you're a veteran player. You're gonna have to at least double the amount of time it takes for a new player to get those vehicles which heavily incentivizes new players to buy them with real money. That seems to be what Gajin is trying to get those new players to do and with them being so cheap it opens the door to them buying more expensive things in the game later. Also console players can't use the marketplace at all so they HAVE to no life the game. It's a very predatory practice
@@DawgIVLife There are many problems, the 35-45k (45k instead of 40k) when casually playing is more like 4-6h. I do have other things to do, not only War Thunder. I do not like to be forced to only play one type of game, I like to play some planes, maybe ships and helis as well. Its like another job, and I do not like it, thinking to stop playing those events. I think the event calendar should be 20 days each month, 10 stages x 2 days, 8 stages to get machine, 10 stages to get coupon. BUT it should be 15-25k points, to it will be daily task, not a job. Also paying GE was made with contempt for the players - 50% of points should be 50% of GE, not some shady tactics. Gaijin greed and burnout will drive out players from those events and WT as well.
split your time man.. thats all you have to do.. 2 days.. the first day .. 2 hours the second day another 2 hours and you are fine.. and you gonna do what ever you have to do..
i dont like the airplane events.. but i get in that one.. with the yak3.. and i give it a shot.... i manage to finish the last one in 3.5 hours .. i dont play air realistic often only when i need to get a br plane with bombs...i gave it a shot and i spaded 2 airplanes.. then i had to play at 8.0 and get 10 assists (daily tasks the medium) that took me 3 extra hours at 8.0 italy.. imagine .. how easy is.. to get the 35000 points..
as for the tanks.. when i finish the daily in both days the task is finished.. so ..

Event vehicles should be fairly easy to get. The challenge should be to get a free talisman for them
I grinded PZL just by playing Brits, but I feel like coupon aint worth a squeeze.
It's 600k points. But 7 missions with 35k points for vehicle is only 240k points.
So coupon is over double points needed for vehicle. And then it costs only 15 dollars in marketplace?
That's literally too much tbh. And Jaguar is practically usless.
I have never once thought about going after the coupon but seems like people are doing it to be only $15

Imo Gaijin needs to re use older event vehicles.
And events need to be special/rare. Spamming them out like Gaijin has been doing pisses me off and many more. They become dull tedious and f-ing annoying.

The point is people get a unique vehicle... not meta vehicles, not top tier vehicles, not a vehicle that only .01% of the community could realistically get access to. None of that BS.

another thing that is annoying is how many of these event vehicles are not premiums , i feel like it would both make the grind for them way more reasonable if you get a vehicle you don't have suffer goddamn stockgrind with , and a vehicle that could actually help you grind out a tech tree , especially when its vehicles on minor tech trees most people might not want to grind.
If you get yourself a shiny new free premium for it you might be tempted to actually grind out that tree. and also ffs gaijin don't add non premium vehicles to a BR that nation has litterally no lineup for , why tf are you making a 7.3 tank destroyer an event vehicle when china litterally has nothing to pair it with without uptiering to 7.7 (which even then still barely has a lineup).
Yea that is a huge problem is that most event vehicles are not premiums anymore. If it is premium its like the Ki-48 with the guided bomb that you will meme with 1-2 times and never touch it again. Its not like the P59 which still is in my lineups today even though that vehicle came out a long time ago.
Premium vehicles were always rare. Not all events vehicles were premium even back then.
The new event vehicle is a premium yak 3 which will be amazing for grinding the tech tree for lower levels.

@@Iberny3 The amount of grinding required is still insane just for a rank III premium, you're better off just working a real job for an hour and then buying it on the marketplace. Or, you could just get the free battlepass rank III. The battlepass premiums are nice little vehicles, some better some worse, but they shorten the low tier grind and they're a lot easier to get than any event vehicle, which requires tens of thousands of points in a game mode, which could take hours to get depending on your skill and luck. And you have to play for two weeks straight.
@@Iberny3 rank 3 premium is like what ? 1300-1600 GE, so its worth bout 15 bucks ? Remember that to grind out that plane you already have to have rank 3 plane and grinding 35k points at rank 3 for this premium, you would probably research most of rank IV planes in ussr tree just by grinding the score. If you have PE-8 or even Yer-2 + premium account you can get 1.5 rank IV plane per confrontation just by afk playing simulator battles.
The fact that I can work a single hour and pay for a single one of the last couple event vehicles is disgusting considering it takes about 50 hours to get that vehicle thru grinding…
Let me clarify it is disgusting on behalf of the player that is grinding these events. It doesn’t make it worth it at all to grind, just buy it

I'd rather see them offer things like Crew XP or Camo as rewards. Imagine being able to win a 50% spaded crew, or even a 100% spaded crew for the nation of your choice. Another P-51 or Yak is just stupid.
I kinda like that idea of instead of making a whole new vehicle like the Yak you instead are offered like a camo for the yak-3 and a free talisman on the vehicle for doing the event. Getting a fully maxed crew though is a bit much imo.
They should just put them in the tech tree and get rid of the events

I did the event for the C2A1 leopard. I like the leopard, but that grind was horrendous, and playing during that time sucked a lot. It sucks even more now that you HAVE to have the battle pass and also play the game daily, doing shit you don't want to do, all for three mediocre to bad vehicles and one good one. The new Tiger II is copy paste BS that should have just been a premium or something, not an event vehicle. Event vehicles are meant to be rewarding and worth having as a unique trophy in your arsenal, but this ain't that. Not to mention how they massacred the warbond shop by requiring you to hit certain tiers in the BP. Stupid all the way around.
the tiger 2 as the premium tiger for italy.. and the japanese old event vehicle tiger .. all three of them.. should be in the main tech tree cause those counties does not have any heavy tank.and thats the sad thing.......
gaijin have the finnish kv1b in the german as premium event vehicle and not in the actual tree..... how amazing!
and the same time they removed the Israeli f84f from the french tree to move it as premium in the Israeli tree where they stop selling it.. how sad ideas..

I think one of the biggest downsides is that event vehicles haven't been premium for a long time. These events used to give people who didn't want to pay but had time the opportunity to get a unique vehicle and a premium which they could used to grind with.

Literally just not worth the effort anymore. Back in the day shit was different. There are way too many cheap premiums now. No one needs to pay over 20 bucks to get to jets now. Buy one T3, 4, or 5 plane and you're set.
i hate this new event and the permanent lootboxes. Payed so long with this game and loved it but with this events and permanent lootboxes made me quit the game.
Yea I hate it as well Someone who starts War Thunder today would not have access to a lot of the vehicles people could have gotten in the past, and if they wanted to get access they either need to pay money or gamble.
Another annoying thing is how, if you do want to get any premium stuff as a free to play, after working your ass off, you have to sell these unique vehicles. With stuff like the crafting events, as much as they sucked, you'd get the vehicle, and then have spare crafting ingredients you can sell. Now you'd have to miss out on the cool vehicles.

As a Naval player, the Baden is actually a decent ship. She is a copy paste Bayern-Class, but there is a good line-up, and she performs well. As far as naval rewards go, it could be much worse
The price and huge amount of available coupons is not about how easy or hard the grind is. It is the case that noone wants to keep these vehicles, cuz aside of 292 they are just useless trash.
They should absolutely not increase point requirements, they're already insanely high for what, a copy paste 4.0 Yak with one less gun? The problem is these vehicles aren't interesting, no one cares about them. That's why the prices are so low. We've seen with the 292 that if you add a cool, unique vehicle that wouldn't belong in the tech tree, everyone loves it and the price is nice and high. They just need to do more of that, there's plenty of vehicles they could choose for it.
I think they should focus on the fun factor rather than turning a game to a full time job.
I strongly disagree with the marketplace having done more bad than good. The market shows what people ACTUALLY value vehicles at, rather than gaijin forcing you to pay X if you want a premium. Marketplace is just supply and demand. If you ground out the chinese PLZ expecting bank on it, thats crazy. If you wanted to sell it for more, hold onto it for a year until the market runs lower on supply.
You can't expect gaijin to make every event vehicle OP to make the marketplace values rise. Gaijin also is letting you obtain an event tank FOR FREE. You are grinding for the tank, and you really shouldnt be expecting to get a full year of premium for the couple weeks of time it take to grind it out.
As much as i disagree with how gaijin handles things, the marketplace is absolutely NOT one of them. if you dont want a tank that nobody else clearly wants, DO NOT spend the weeks grinding for it, because it wont sell for more than the buyers value it.
I have no interest in this tank, but i would probably pick it up for $5 if it hits that. Nobody wants it, and it was obvious from the start of the event.
I imagine the supply of coupons is much lower than in the old system. The problem is that besides the Object 292, the vehicles have all been boring so demand is through the floor.

stopped playing the moment they announced this mandatory second job, 40k isnt that easy for f2p, as top tier is helicopter/premium cancer spam, low tiers are also premium spam, and midtier is incredibly compressed (but somehow still the most fun)

I grinded the Obj 292 with coupon and then kinda stopped grinding for the events, bcs lets be honest, the 292 came at the right time and was the right vehicle; Its the first event of the new cycle and people spent more time complaining about the event rather than grinding it, aswell as it being a pretty good vehicle, therefore a lot of people never bothered to grind for the coupon but just wanted to redeem it themselves.
I doubt that the other event vehicles coming will be at a price nearly as high as the 292 (unless its a really good and desired vehicle) and I honestly just try to get the vehicles themselves now just to have them, as playing for 50+ hours per event just to get
I think the reason they don't sell well on the market or that people don't want to do them is because they're not blatantly overpowered, and if they were then half the community would be complaining about them. I think gaijin is kind of in a safe place right now with the event vehicles to keep half the player base somewhat happy. Either way there's going to be complaints from both sides of the aisle. This is coming from someone who's never even tried to do event vehicles since the grind is already stupid anyways.
The power factor is a big selling point for a lot of these vehicles its why if you sort from high to low on the market for price most of those vehicles in some way are extremely good you have some exceptions like the AMX-50 Surblindé or the M60 AMBT because the supply of those vehicles have always been low.
I see selling a vehicle is like your boss pays you for your work but you are underpaid in most cases it's not worth all the hours you spend

Tbh this is kind of to be expected, the first vehicle was good because it needed to grab people's attention and then when most were aware of the events it went down to a more "realistic" level. If Gajin gave away 80-100$ vehicles every month I don't think that would look good for their profits, again it probably wouldn't affect them too much but as we all know they do be greedy sometimes.
The main problem for me is that the tasks only run 2 days. Some days you just cant play 3 hours because of work, friends or family. The task should run until the end of the event and start every other day, so you can compensate for other days
I know this is going to sound strange but I think that the events take away vehicles from the normal tech tree also as a console player it is extremely frustrating that gambling is the only way to get a vehicle I would like these to just be research event vehicles so you can put x amount of research during like 5th of May - 28 of May. This fixes the problem for people who actually have jobs and play the game for fun

In my opinion ,,event,,part is useless BS. But it explains a lot about Gaijin mindset, what again in my opinion is sick,greed and lack of fantasy/theory/exploration or developement. They can use BP for everything, all we need is touse the warbonds. We should be able to earn more in BP and for the WB we should be able to buy things. You want a vehicle, yes here it is IS7 for 500 000 WB, you want premium timw,here 200 000. I do not know now, it needs reasearch but I hope you got my point. Rightnow WB is not used at its full,and BP is filled with stupid shit just to fill it. Bicykle,skysnow,football ? Realy? What has this to do with war game,and why I can not turn it off. This is looking like a last try to get money out of players,and they are not working on a long term project anymore.
Ps5 player here. I have about 1k hours. But anyway when I watch videos on war thunder I always see RUclipsrs play with tanks or planes that you can’t get on console or it’s way to expensive to get. For me I lose interest in the video as I cant relate to it. But with all of that the grind is soooo bad. I would spend hours playing and get a couple k rp but still not get a tank. But what makes it worse is the old boring gameplay and don’t get me started on playing the same maps over and over [ 4 maps ] out of how many. It’s just boring

Events are too common now if you have 1 or 2 unique vehicles they might be worth a lot but if every vehicle is unique no vehicle is unique
I start grinding this events when the Su-25BM was out, got it, the 292, the Jaguar IS, and i just wanted this Yak-3 cuz it was beautiful bruh my air force course starts so i dont got time anymore
The problem starts with the very use of the word have, "have to do this event". Remember when you got paid an hourly wage for doing repetitive chores that you don't enjoy and came home to cope with video games? It should be illegal for video games to create these predatory virtual economies and / or any sort of event that interacts with real world time. No player should be in the situation of "it's a nice day and I want to go outside, but the video game will punish me if I don't grind for 8 hours today".
In regards to the market prices, don’t forget this also has to do with the economy itself. People don’t have spare spending money to put into a videogame like they used to. Our online retail store is auctioning things off half the price as they would have gone for 3 years ago.
Ehh its a whole lot better now that event is like this now you have the option to get every single event vehicles without being paywalled on certain one, honestly event vehicles shouldn't be the main focus core for player and adding unique vehicles isnt gonna help either as its just gonna deplete more options down the future, you cant add great vehicles everyday unless you want completely nothing or stale copy in the future. My opinion is that player shouldn't be too hard core on events and if a terrible event vehicles comes treat it as a time saver so when the time does come that a good vehicle shows up you can have the option to grind without being burned out unless you have a different schedule and if schedules dont line up with the event then thats on you
In the past, premium and pack vehicles used to be ctrl+c + ctrl+v and event vehicles special and unique. Now it seems to be the other way around.
1. They need to reorganize their schedule, its ok to not have nothing going on in a game.
2. They need to add unique stuff as prizes and if its not unique then they should reduce the grind.
The sturmtiger never shouldve been a event vehicle, you shouldnt lock out special vehicles for players who are starting a few weeks after said event ended
Honestly vehicles became less expensive when gaijin decided to make 1 vehicle events, and tried to fix it with coupon, rather than another vehicle like before, so everyone can get event and vehicle cost like nothing
These are not really premium vehicles.. no premium multipliers and get a hefty penalty for grinding lower rank vehicles afaik.
What bothers me is that they changed how we got the coupon. Before we could grind 7-8 tasks of 40k score and if you wanted some upgrades or coupon, you just have to grind the optional 2-3 more and you could also miss a couple tasks too, you know...
So, back then, for example the swedish CT-CV 105HP at 10.0 you could grind 8 or 10 tasks of 40k every 2 days (total 320k or 400k for coupon)
Now, for object 292, you had to grind 8 tasks for 45k, or 360k total, but to upgrade the tradeable coupon you'd have to get 750k total, or basically 41k mission points EVERY DAY or ~83k every task which feels horrible.
I’ve only got an airplane from the Italians and that’s it… it’s a premium but I never try doing the challenges
My biggest problem with these events is the way to get the coupons. It is a lot to get the coupon like for the top tier it was like 750000 points during the whole event. But then they say for lower rank vechicles you need less point wich is true. But the top rank vechicle like the obj was 9 stages and 18 days so you had 18 days for getting that 750000 points. Lower rank vechicle events are a lot shorter like 6 stages or something and 500000 for the coupon. So with that logic it is just as much work for a high rank vechicle as a low rank. It is always 40k a days no matter the rank. I think to get lower rank vechicles it should be less points or over a longer periode of time to fix this
I did the Jaguar IS event by spamming sim, because I genuinely thought that I could get at least 40 GJN out of it. Instead I suffered severe brainrot to sell that s*** for 15 GJN. From there on I decided that if I really want the vehicle for myself i'll play the event, but other than that ill just do it casually on the side, if im grinding a tech tree vehicle or smth.

I only play when there's interesting vehicles that I want to get for collection. But that's very rare because most of the event vehicles are shit.
3 to 4 hours is even too much, I do it usually in less than 2 hours. 2/3k points each game and you're done at top tier.
My only problem with events is that the vehicles are not unique enough. Only good vehicles were the ground ones, because they are completely unique; yes the Chinese one has its problems but still, it feels good to own it because its one of its kind.
morning before 292 event i woke up with high fever and was down for week so i didnt play at all and missed it since then all rewards are somehow mid i didnt even bother with jaguar or ship and did PL since ez grind and now handicaped yak since i have time (i only grinded them for my self no coupon) and after next ship i hope for something either new unique or if they copypasta vehicle then better make it slap :D
Gaijin doesn't understand that they must reward our time and effort with good interesting vehicles like what they did with ground but giving boring copy paste yak 3 is not rewarding etc.. Anyways ranting about Gaijin is pointless

Going to be honest I assume they hoped that since it was Indian people could have cared more. They pushed a bunch of Indian vehicles into the game lately like the Vijayanta and the Bhishma.

Biggest complaint I have is that they aren’t premium vehicles. I understand why but man I spent like 20+ hours grinding the PLZ. Vehicle is fun though
The thing with the market isn’t with Sony or Microsoft cuz you have things like the rainbow six market and even if you switch to PC you still can’t access the market if u made ur account on console
I'm someone who used to sell event vehicles I didn't like and kept the ones I liked, I have not had one that I liked or could actually sell for more than 20 bucks in years.
The new event cycle is ass, you can't even sell what you get unless you grind more than the Crafting events was, AND the vehicles are boring and crap.

I would love to buy it (considering its low price), but I JUST CAN'T. It is infinetly dissapointing that as a player on playstation I just get locked out. I cant even buy it through the gaijin marketplace website.

The low price of the event vehicles is partly because you are only grinding one vehicle at a time. You are not required to make a choice between which vehicles you grind and which not to. Now, anyone with the time or inclination can grind it out doubling the supply, halving the price even with ridiculous coupons requirements.

I will be honest: I grinded out the Object 292 for using it, because funny 152 goes BOOM. I didn't bother the air and naval grinds at all, because I am not a big pilot or enjoy naval at all. But I grinded out the PLZ for selling it. And I can't even sell it for the amount to buy the freaking BP which was the point for me. I am kinda disappointed with it.
Gaijin should make it easier to get the vehicles. Ever since the New Events dropped I just stopped playing. No point of grinding 2-3 hours each day after 8 hours of work.
This Yak-3 is just bad, but I like the vehicle inscription and victory mark, I don't know, but I think we could get something better, there's a lot of things that could be added, I hope in any other event (not next) be some IFV like the BMD-4M, something really useful and doesn't really matter where they add it, it always be lineup for it. Except 10.3.
Yea I tried to not comment on the Yak 3 since its the first premium in the event cycle so we don't know how it will be could be $10 or $25, but its based around victory day and the only thing that could have been interesting would have been the I-215
I only did the PLZ because I have not done the Chinese tree at all. But only thing I want out of those lootboxes is obj 279. It's the ONLY tank I want in the whole game. I just want it because it's funny looking.
I started with the air event to get the Yak 3 even though I was getting points I legit was like why am I putting time into with a Yak 3 with a missing gun that I’ll probably never use 😂
Honestly only doing it because I was so stressed with ground due to the previous event, grinding a vehicle ill probably not use in a year or two is crazy tho LOL (goes for the 130mm CN and this Yak-3)

they could at least give the event vehicles spaded cause you already spill blood to take them..
I think there probably is a bit of a disconnect between what Gaijin thinks people want and what the player base actually wants in event vehicles. That and/or Gaijin was planning on to use the new event cycle to increase that artificial scarcity on uninteresting events to make more money on copy paste esque vehicles higher price on the market for less effort from Gaijin to make them. So far a Yak-3 Premium with one less .50cal(French one is likely cheaper and gets you through the lend-lease vehicles up to rank 4), a Chinese SPG whose chassis was already in game just needed to swap out the gun(itself mostly copy paste from the IS7 stats wise), and another event Jaguar but this time with Magic 2s furthering the annoyance of poor airframes with over BRed because it has modern missiles. You can also kinda see this disconnect with a lot of recent updates adding mostly copy paste vehicles to other trees.
Currently for how bland the vehicles have been, the grind isn't worth the effort and increases the coupon cost dozen help with the low demand but spending 20 hours in game to get a Yak-3 that exists multiple times in the Soviet tree or premium bonus which exists in the French tree, which probably yell less than 10 coins on the markets.
Ofc calculating how much the community would care for a vehicle is near impossible to then balance the grind to be worth it. At the same time the amount of effort gaijin expects people to put into a copy paste WW2 plane the grind for that should be lower by a good margin. Similar issues exist for the Battle Pass, why spend the time and money when the top reward is just a Tiger 2p which due to the recent sale iirc I could have gotten a Tiger 2h for 20 dollars, which so while the sales going on the Battle Pass is not much more then a sidegrade of a mid tier pack.

That's totally on them though, imagine thinking a mediocre SPG or Jet was going to sell like hotcakes on the market. The Object 292 was the only good thing about the event, and the 45k score was hard but fair enough for an above average player.
Score based grind is miles better than RNG crafting grind.

After around 10 years and 12.534 hours of playing (mostly ground RB), I'm completely burnt out. I've been trying to balance my work-leisure-family time, and it's just not working anymore. I've not been able to do most events, save for a few, just because I don't work a 9 to 5 job, and really don't have time consistently to lock down and spend 5-6 hours a day for two weeks. There were days I used to play 16-20 hours, there were days I could not play at all. Now I just can't bear it anymore. I really enjoyed the game for many years, and would've really liked to have eventually seen realistic sights (historical plus forced gunner view) in RGB to create a bit more difference between the feel of the vehicles; shame, I don't think I ever will. Personally, for me, the game lost its charm with the extreme fast pace and chaos of high BR (where one side steamrolls the other in like 10 minutes, and grinding out stock vehicles is painful), the introduction of heat swinging low BR modern vehicles (I'm not arguing for their BR increase, they wouldn't be very fun in higher BRs - they just killed heavy tanks), and the endless events (I was stressed with grinding out the free battle pass vehicles until this season, when I just looked back and realized that I rarely, if ever, use them). Now, I just don't have the appetite for the game anymore - I tried playing a few matches on different BRs, and shut the game off after 1 match. I've never bought any vehicles with real money, although I've been a premium player for the better part of those past 10 years. I guess I've had my fill. For all of its flaws, this was probably my favorite game ever, and maybe I'll eventually come back (although I'm getting to an age where my reflexes are slowing down), but for now I'm out. For those of you who enjoy the game, best wishes, I'll probably read a book or play something else.
VIDEO IDEA: explain how Gaijin can get away with all of this laziness and greed because it essentially has a monopoly on the genre. There really aren't any other games like War Thunder which combine elements of realism and arcade to allow for accessible immersion. The following for such a genre is pretty large, however Gaijin is the only developing team taking advantage of this market. Another military vehicle game focusing on this "accessible immersion" could be developed, with mechanics related to progression much more player-friendly, and this game could easily steal the fairly sizeable playerbase for War Thunder while also garnering even more players because many are dissatisfied with the War Thunder grind. However, no one has developed such a game. I feel like the reason for this is not because developers are neglecting such an idea, I feel like it's more because War Thunder has evolved so much over the past decade since its release. So much content has been added in terms of vehicles, so many minor details have been added that all harmonize to make the game seem that much more realistic (Mach cone changes, afterburner changes, smoke coming out of the barrel after shooting, machine guns turning red hot, etc.), and so many bug reports related to making specific vehicles more accurate to their real-life models have been filed. Many say that War Thunder is a decade old game, but few say it is outdated due to the constant supply of content (whether it be good for gameplay or not) the developers introduce. The developers of this aforementioned new game which would compete with War Thunder would have to include everything amalgamated by War Thunder updates in the past decade on its release. If it fails to do this, then it would very likely be dead on arrival. Obviously as this would take an insane amount of time to develop, no developer has taken on such a task and War Thunder continues to dominate the market for its specific genre. Gaijin is aware of this and is thus able to "screw over" its playerbase quite a bit.

i like how its is i like being able to work a full job and being able to then come home and grind those task out. with the old module i could not, so i do not want them to increase the points needed. And why is it a big deal that they sell for so low? it allows more people to buy them and not just the whales. If people want the price to go up they can just not sell it.
IF this is done to save the resource and time for better vehicles that come with major update then it is fine by me.
I rather missing out copy & paste event vehicle over more unique ones where people will asking them for 60 to 100 of bucks if you missed it and want to pick one up from marketplace.
Having unique vehicles from major update means they will be implemented directly into a tech tree.
I don't take part in them. When I saw the price for the Jaguar, I knew I had done the right thing.
Havent even tried to grind them. Im not interested in any of those vehicles

Console player here. I thought the market would function the same with how I am able to use creator codes? I have a email linked and go to the website using said account and it’ll update it on my console.
I'm going to drop a perspective, there are some if us that can only effectively play 1 out of 3 game modes. For me that is Ground RB.
I can't do Naval because it takes over 5 minutes for me to even get into a game as most of my lineups don't go past 4.0 br, and the Naval Grind is so much worse than air and ground. So ontop of that being why I don't even play Naval, it also comes to dissuade me from doing Naval events because what point I could get is pitiful and require more than 2 days to complete at that rate.
As for air, I have not played and air only game mode in years, and Arcade while viable for me is in the same category of Baval, too little score to even justify a 2 day only thing, on my best games. RB is no go because the same thing, I have Rank 5 aircraft, but I'm a complete noob with Jets and get destroyed by more experienced players. And even when I play in a comfortable br, I'm also competing not only the enemy but my team as well for score. And all Air RB is total death match, so you better get those kills on other players before your teammates do. Doing anything else just makes you an easy target and get less score. Not to mention how fast that can go, either from death or a complete team wipe out. And of course those who play sims can cheese the grind in less than 2 hours.
I actually miss the objective based missions for air event vehicles in this case, though I'll admit just keep it locked in Air only game modes, Ground Battles need less CAS spam.
So for me, Ground is the only game mode I can do as i can get the score down in GRB comfortable at rank 3-5, but Air and Naval just aren't worth the time and effort; especially if you play on the lower Rank side of these below Rank 5-7 for Air, and below Rank 4 for Naval (ontop of everything else wrong with Naval like the longer grind).
The time-cost for Air and Naval is just not worth it.
I'm still newish. 5 months in and I got the 292. I'd say that was worth it. But I don't play air, naval or China.
Imagine the brazilian super tucano, the argentine pucara, the A-37, the italian aeromacchi, the spanish CASA me 109 (we have it in israel) or he 111. There are still plenty of ww2 planes that are not add to the game. Countless examples for events that gaijin don t know about them

I grinded out the PLZ-83-130 for China because I main the Chinese tech tree, it’s just more fun than the US tech tree sometimes if I’m being honest and I figured having a 7.3 event vehicle to put into a 7.7 lineup might be cool and it’s just ok, it doesn’t really do anything super unique it’s a sniper tank on the discount Chinese Object 120 lookalike.
I´ll just use the yak to get a turms t "discount" and the little music box
Its not really that they are to easy to get, its the fact that nobody wants them because most of them just arent very good. I wouldnt pay over 20 dollars for most of them, much less 40

I bought a 292 the day they went on sale on the market (after grinding one out) and so far my investment has increased in value by about $40 so far
I grinded for 10 hours to get 200k points and all that for 15€... Bruh
When yall asking for reducing points for events this will happend you will sell ur vehicles for $5 and lose your fucking time
it's nothing to do with oversaturation or the new event type, and it won't be helped with raising the points, the OBJ 292 proves this. all they need to do is to add event vehicles that are actually interesting/good, that's all.
