@@ronaldjohnston3723 yes, long, short, whateva demo he does always turns out great and there is no fuckery, just real tone and awesome playing, #1 even in the future anno 2022
I have an Eastwood p90 special... used to sound okay but I stuck a Seymour Duncan on the bridge and a hot Tonerider on the neck (actually a mistake, the guy that set up my guitar got them backwards) and i don't even play it on the neck or bridge position. It sounds so good on the mid I don't even move it
Timmy, Fulltone, Xotic, Zvex (admittedly kind of cute), Wampler all have these distracting silly fonts, which stand out as being very odd for the demographic that can afford to have a board full of them. I suppose at least they don't have these silly graphics that makes absolutely no sense, Walrus being absolutely the worst offender.

@@AndyDemos thanks for your kind explain. Now I understand better. You put Thumb and Index finger so tight together, one could think You're clamping a plectrum in between, but no, Wow, interesting technique! Thanks Andy
@@ProGuitarShopDemos Thank you for the reply. I appreciate yet. I'm a bit sorry I got it. I was mislead by the name. Don't get me wrong. It's a good pedal, just not really what I needed.
It's an update of the original RC Booster, which is actually a clean, transparent boost, so quite different than the EP Booster. Whereas the EP Booster has a bass emphasis to fatten your sound and gets gainier quicker, the RC Booster doesn't alter your base tone as much and has controllable gain.
the plimsoul has way more gain and less dynamics. it does have two gain circuits whereas on the rc2 you can switch between two settings on the same gain circuit. what might sound similar is that in this vid the rc is pushing the amp pretty hard, so what you hear is actually amp gain, not pedal gain. the differences are way more drastic the cleaner the amp. plimsoul is a great pedal though, but for a different purpose.
The simplest explanation...think of the Plimsoul as a overdrive/distortion that has two different "textures" of gain that can be blended and combined. Think of The RC V2 as more of boost that can increase what is already there. A Deluxe Reverb can get down pretty good if you push it hard enough with enough boost.
The Plimsoul is nothing like an RC. It’s an overdrive distortion. A really cool pedal that has almost a TS vibe and the second gain stage is brighter which makes it a little more ocd sounding. But Nothing about Plimsoul sais clean boost. To me anyway.
I really like this pedal. I run mine with several other gain staging pedals and the RC always pushes me into Crazy Horse territory.
Is there a button to like all of Andy's videos?
Jay Moreau no doubt Andy is the demo king

I'd love to compare record collections with Andy. He chooses the most amazing and perfect songs to highlight the sound of the pedals he's demoing.
Awesome!!! as a pedal collector it's hard to keep up with all the outstanding gear that's been released
I know, it's hard for my rapidly dwindling bank account to keep up with it too! haha
Boy, if only we could get a BB Preamp with an alternate gain setting like this.
Yeah that would be the shit. And a full separate EQ
The BB Plus is kinda like that, no? I haven't tried it myself as I'm happy with my MB version.
great to hear the Redtail strat .love those fralin pups.
Damn, likely my favorite demo you’ve ever done!!!
This is my always on pedal. This pedal makes your tone sing.
fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuukk it. just bought the SL-drive from Xotic for good price but this one is gold as well. I NEEEEED!
I like the shiny new look for Xotic
Killer song choice and execution… as always 🤘
Amazing pedal I have the RC!! xotic is the best choise!

Sounds great but does that pedal have comic sans font labeling? SMH.
lol. For them it's pretty good design. Not the best looking pedals around.
That's been my gripe with them for years. As a graphic designer, it bugs me. I can look past it because of the great sound, though.
I actually kind of like the design and I normally hate comic sans. Makes me think of hotdog stands and bad restaurants.
Lol... I don't mind it on my OCD

What are the differences between the BB and this (apart from the secondary gain)?
Desmond Hume bb is mid hump gain boost. rc is a flat db+ boost
Desmond Hume bb is mid hump gain boost. rc is a flat db+ boost
fab opening number!!
what's that tune ? sounds like the Rolling stones but...
Do I see a plectrum/pick sometimes, or don't I.

Funny that my German teacher uses this exact writing style for EVERY WORKSHEET we get
Wouldnt it be more accurate to call this pedal an overdrive pedal then a booster ?
Its capable of boost but yes, it’s more of a low gain overdrive.

what song begins the demo?? the stones?
mazing85 yes, stray cat blues is the song
What song is he playing at the beginning of this demo? Thanks
Stray Cat Blues - The Rolling Stones
Never showed gain 2 knob adjustments ?
Every example has a different Gain 2 setting.
He is in Drop D .. right?
What amp are you using here?
Is this like an updated EP Booster or something completely different?

OH I see thanks for clearing that up for me!!
Old School Boost = Guitar Volume Knob
when i press the bypass button, all sound gets cut off. what am i doing wrong?
Your power source isn't connected/working.
The two foot switches are too close, I'm a 11 foot size.
I can't see where the 2nd chanel was engaged.. It did not light up, not that I could see. I certainly won't get the pedal based on this video..
Every example shows a use of both green and red channels.
What is that green guitar Andy is playing?
reverend guitar

This one or tc electronic spark? Anyone compared? Thanks.
I had the Spark. It was a decent clean boost, but almost no gain. I'd take this one over the Spark for sure.
What is the first song please?
Stray Cat Blues by the Stones
How similar is this to the Fulltone Plimsoul?
not
It sounds real similar, though. You have have two boosts/drives, and you can blend them together...It isn't that different.
