What about SSL's own G-Bus compressor plugin? Or the one on the Big Six. I like and use both. How do they compare?

Thank you I always learn a lot from your videos! I wish you would also include the SSL plugin with these reviews as many of us have the SSL subscription and controllers. In this comparison the Antelope has a harsher sound - UA has a warm and more analog sound to me especially in the low end.

I’m biased, but having all the dsp/ real time fx along with 2 of their condensers w/mic emulators, I would take antelope audio (PC) over UA, for example a zen go over Apollo twin. AA has had their issues in the past but they’ve really nailed the PC side

Antelope plugins are the best algorithmic ones. They need some improvements GUIwise and a bit in leveling but the sound man is unbeatable.UAD is UAD :)

The best one I've heard in plugin format is still The Glue by Cytomic. It's completely saturation free though, so if you like dirt it's not for you.

If you have the ssl native plugin you should compare that with them
