Man Dave knows how to get guitar tones! Especially the guitars with drive. I'm totally with you with gates on plugins,I can't get them dialed in right either
Using this allot. Always trying to learn more about how far I can push it. You look well brother. Been working out or something. Important add after we sit at a computer desk for long hours. The benefit of big analogue desks, is standing up moving around:) You can boost 8db on the bass high mids on this plug in and it holds up. I'm a fan off the Sonnox drum gate. This is the best and easiest gate I have found in a strip.
I love the Harrison 32C from UAD….this one seems to have much more…..I still love the EQ version from UA especially on the lower end sounds…..it makes the track sound like it’s in molten chocolate on the bottom end and very crisp top end
Some years ago I liked channel strips but when I got more serious about mixing I never used them again. The difference between a factory sealed carbonized pancake or a fresh baked, some people just want the convenience.

Thanks for the demo. 😊
Any time!
You should try their DAW Mixbus 32c It sounds awesome! Amazing features and their classic sound right out of the box.
I did and HATED it. The worst GUI I have ever seen. Everything so small on the screen

This is from the new Harrison 32Classic console that came out this year
Good to know, thanks
Harrison 32C sounds excellent on Drums. It sounds better than SSL 4KE. I can get a punchy Kick drum & snare drum.
