You have a wonderful knack of looking outside the box, to see inside the box. I have learned a lot from your paint-related vids... I am not a gamer, but a car model builder, so my painting needs are a bit different than yours. Even so I have been able to also learn about new products, and techniques to use them... thank you for being so personable, sometimes a person just has a way to communicate that clicks. I am now pestering my local hobby shop to carry more turboshift paint colours... they look so cool, I am hoping they will do as well on car bodies.
I normally do a clear coat over the paint... flat, satin or gloss depending on the needs. If I was doing a fancy metallic paintjob, I would want to put a gloss clear over it, is that going to mess with the effects of the turboshift? I did hear you say it can be used mixed with gloss clearcoat, so I may give that a try. You do pack some good info into this video, so it will take a few listens to get it all... it's awesome.

I'm lucky that my local store carries these(Citadel, Turbo Dork, and Green Stuff World is what they carry, no Army Painter or Vallejo) but I really like the Turbo Dork. I use a brush and the first time I used them it didn't seem like they where applying very well, but once I figured out how to apply them and realized it actually takes about 5 layers for the color to really pop. These are my go to paints if I want a unique metallic color for an army, gang or whatever unit needs a cohesive color. And as usual, this is a great, informative video!

The paint pooled a lot and I had some issues applying it on. The initial base coat of pink paint is uneven, but it is the first layer and I expect it with other paints, but I have no idea if this is normal or desired for metallic paint. I have seen other youtubers using TD paints and they go on flawlessly Any tips that you could give?

I have been painting a dragon with the turbo shifts (because it’s cool looking) and while Motherload color requires a white base, the other color says black or other paints. So I started putting it, Sweet Dreams, over the Motherload color and it’s giving a cool variation.
Would it be possible to get a still image of the paint & bottle for each color, you went through them so fast I'm finding myself scrubbing back and forth on the video for ages.
Recently purchased a few of the colorshift paints. Now when you say to dry brush to dumb down the gloss a bit does this mean a drybrush of the same color you airbrushed?
I really enjoyed this preview. I've been looking at getting the Vallejo colour shift line, however I'm leaning toward Turbo Dork now that I know you can get every pot individually rather than a pack of 6 Vallejo where I might not use all of them. I just found it hard to keep track of all the different cows you were showing off after a while, it's a very large catalogue!

It`s more difficult to work with, but just remember that you need multiple layers for an effect, and maybe drybrush (I know, odd, but alas, it works) the first couple of layers on, then layer a thinned layer after layer after that. Good luck!!
@swordnsteele712 does this paint require water to thin it out? Or does it already run light? Thankyou for the advice. I should be running the motherload turbodork on a white base, so it's white on top of white.

A matte or satin may reduce a turboshift, but a gloss shouldn't :) Though yes, I would expect a gloss/turboshift mix to be better
