Yeah, and it would be great if Laura surprised him with a man-cave...something him and Benjamin could enjoy doing together and make their bond even stronger. Because truth be told, this is all Laura's dream, she should really do something special for him for always being so patient, willing to help and sacrificing by paying for any and everything Laura needs.

After I retired I went through a “lul” time sort of bored but not really. Then the nasty virus and life changes. I started watching Garden Answer and became inspired. Both inside and outside the home. I now approach everyday projects with Laura enthusiasm. And I feel good about what I can accomplish…… like all the carpet cleaning I did yesterday. So thanks Laura and Aaron for showing us how to enjoy life even through tough times and busy times!

I like to weed when I need a break from work, etc. It's satisfying to see a section of my yard weed free. I use the Fiskars stand-up weeder when there are weeds with very long roots. I've pulled some weeds with roots over a foot long. There's no way I'd be able to pull that up by hand. It is easier when the soil is damp and weeds with deeper roots.

The key to that weeding tool, is that you must make sure the side where you step, (at the end of the pole) is pressed to the ground. If you push it in and the pole is at an angle, it will not grab the weed as well. We learned from experience. Be sure the block end of the weeder is pressed down to the ground and your pole is fairly straight! 😊

The new space is really starting to fill in and looks amazing! I think keeping mulch inside of the cut flower garden will provide a nice contrast and be easier in the future with the fountain and benches in that middle area. You give us all such inspiration and are a true joy to watch! ☺️

Please know that it is such a joy to follow along with you as you plant every single tree, shrub and perennial in this new space. We get to see you transform this blank canvas into something glorious! It is NEVER boring and I would be so sad if you just started planting without us! Thank you for sharing all of this excitement-I know it takes a lot more time and effort to film, but I am so grateful you do it! 💞

I think most of us are in awe watching as your space develops and grows. Sometimes just a couple plants at a time is perfect so as the space fills up and flourishes we get as excited as you do. We don't all have the space that you do, so we can pretend we do as we watch you tweaking and changing your space. I've learned much watching you. Thank you.

A true gardener will never grow weary of planting anything. Rise up and plant on Laura. I love it, and from the looks of all the post we all love it.! It's the creativity of what you are doing, and showing and also teaching others that it will all be worth it whether your property is big, small, or a nice acreage. When I touch that soil it brings nothing but healing, peace and calm. "Keep Planting" 😎

Plant anything, everything! Keep it up. I thank God for you and your videos, your family, and even for Ontario, Oregon. Together with August Hunicke, an arborist in Grant's Pass, Oregon, you have provided hours of peaceful enjoyment watching good, kind, honest, hard-working and smart-working folk during the Pandemic and all the other worldwide chaos. You ROCK, Laura! Keep on doing what you're doing!

We won't get bored. We all signed on for the journey. I wouldn't want to see just a before/after shot of a project of this scale. Here's my take away for today's video: I have a hard time seeing your future vision as you describe it. That's not a bad thing. It just makes me realize how when I'm doing a project my helpers may not see my vision either and that's why I have to be careful of what I ask for. And finally, I'm a big picture type of person. Drone shots would be so helpful so I could orient my thinking. Love this journey!

I’m never bored watching you plant. You always sprinkle in tidbits of your knowledge through out whatever you are doing. You share your successes and your failures, which is so encouraging. Yes, your failures are encouraging too! Helps me realize my mistakes also. Benjamin was so cute on his tractor. Perfect for him. I can’t wait for the day when Samantha is trolling alongside her brother, with her own tractor too!🥰

A Garden Answer video is what I search for 1st thing. With everything else going on in the world, we need this type of therapy: whether it’s your planting a tree or a flower, whether it’s your harvesting of fruits or vegetables, whether it’s your shopping or canning with your mom, whether it’s your showing Benjamin how to plant in his garden, or whether it’s seeing Samantha’s sweet face-you are a joy to watch. So don’t ever think we get bored of what you do. You are garden’s perfect teacher and I’ve learned so much from you and your channel. Thank you and Aaron so much for making my garden so beautiful. Because of you, I’ve earned “Yard of the Month” twice. Again, thank you and your property is going to be spectacular. A water feature will definitely set everything off.

Well, I'm not bored at all with your videos, I look forward to them every day. On the days you don't have a video (taking Sunday's off, or because of weather conditions) it's really no big deal because it gives me that fresh start to be industrious myself. It really matters that you, Laura, have a wonderful personality and character. You and your family reflect so much grace and positivity, it's like you are my role model, and I'm probably around your moms age! Aaron is super fabulous too, I like that he is there for you in a pinch when you need extra muscles. And it's always a bonus to see Benjamin, Samantha, and the kitty cats!

I really hope that you two do a drone video of this space one year after the first planting. The video you did where it was nothing but showing where things might go, and then a year later showing all the progress and what it looks like. I would REALLY love to see that. And I’m also SO looking forward to garden tours in this space too ❤️

You know what? It can't be easy portraying the image you guys do to us on nearly a daily basis...Laura is a gardener who can't be stopped and Aaron is the techie genius. Getting along in front of the camera as much as you two show is certainly appreciated but just know that we are all blessed by BOTH of you. I pray over your sweet family for endurance, a long and happy marriage, and for children who come to know just how blessed they are. It has to get a little old putting yourselves out there to the world (especially for you Aaron when you aren't really comfortable doing so). I really feel that God is working through the two of you to bring the rest of us a sense of peace, tranquility and normalcy that otherwise is lacking in this crazy world. Thank you so much for your willingness to contribute even when you might not be getting along sometimes. We love you guys!

That weeder is a hoot…I have one that I inherited from my father. He had it from back on our farm in Indiana from probably 1950. It is a bit simpler than yours but is very effective on dandelions in the lawn. I use it frequently.
