Wow, what a difference that compost made. And the walkways, and the grass, and the trees, and everything! It’s one of those weird time warps where it seems like a long time has passed getting to this point, But at the same time, it’s been so fast! The drone shots show everything off so well. 💚
Question: do you not like burning bushes? I know they grow well there, and I never had any issues with them. ( no diseases or pests?) and they are spectacular in the fall! I was glad you got rid of the spirea. Don’t care for those much.

I know they aren't "technically" a farm but, if you grow up on a farm you learn how to do all sorts of things at a very young age. Just from watching and doing. I grew up on "not technically" a farm. 11 acres in the country and my dad loooooved to garden the same way Laura does. We had an apple orchard, vegetable patch and berry brambles. My mom was in charge of flowers. I can remember my dad's old pick up that he used for chores. There were rusted out spots on the floor and I loved watching the dirt or gravel as we drove around🥴 I learned how to drive a manual transmission, change oil, spark plugs, distributor caps, carburetors, filters, batteries, headlamps (back when it was the lens and bulb combined) I've been in the suburbs for quite a long time now and do all sorts of stuff that my friends and neighbors always say is "too hard" and I should "hire someone". l think being a kid in that environment grows life long confidence. Benjamin and Samantha Grace are so fortunate. 🙂

I dug a a flower bed along the back ( Southside) of my home over the last week and a half and did a lot of the planting yesterday morning. Something that I don't think I ever would have done before watching your channel. I was out buying plants over the last couple of weeks and kept thinking about how you say they'll probably be better off in the ground than left in their containers over the winter.
Thanks for all of the inspiration and encouragement to try something new (to me). Once I got going, it wasn't nearly as intimidating as I initially expected. There are still a few things I plan to add, but I'm so excited to see how it all comes out next spring and summer!!! 😁😁

What a transformation just with edging! It's so much more tidier with edging. I love how Laura uses the stick to measure out her three foot distance! Based on Laura's other videos, I have also replaced using a "barky mulch" with forested compost or compost and it's just nourishment for the earth, plants and insects. I love watching Laura live out her dreams - inspires me to live out mine in my own gardens. Thank you Laura!

The brick is absolutely beautiful. Benny and crew did a fantastic job. Now I want this along my borders!!! The color is very pretty against the green grass. Everything looks good against that grass!
The new property looks amazing. Ive been calling (in my head) the lane, the back lane and your new drive, new way. LOL.
I'm picturing a swing for Benjamin in the newest area you're considering seating for. Something nice but can be moved when the littles are older. If you are enjoying that area so much now, maybe worth a thought. With the look of the house now, a cute swing could look good?!?
Everything has come together quickly. The drone footage adds so much to the videos.

Yulia from Y Garden puts down layers of newspaper with mulch on top instead of removing any of the grass/sod underneath. Apparently the ground is ready for planting after two weeks and all the grass is smothered and has become part of the earth. I haven't tried it myself yet, but since she's a professional I trust her methods. Not that I mind watching you do this for 20 minutes. Love watching you work and do your thing!

Each time I watch Laura tidying up her garden, I also got an adrenaline rush after and think of doing more for my small space. And I cannot stop wondering where you get all those energies... You are so blessed for having everything you needed for this endeavors- full support from your family and friends and a good health and an enormous energy every single day! Your vlogs inspired me up to this time since 2016...

Really love the drone footage of your whole property as you complete projects! It's just so beautiful and I really appreciate seeing all that you've done. I hope you and Aaron are aware how inspirational you are as well. Watching you complete the vision for your property is really inspiring to those of us gently working on the same.

I never knew how to edge, I doesn’t really seem like something that’s very popular in our area or maybe I just never noticed. Very interesting and it looked so finished and tidy when complete. Thank you for sharing! You deserve a cocktail 🍹

All I can say is WOW!! What an amazing design, workmanship, and plan. How you do all of this yourselves is amazing. I know you have Paul who helps with it too, but still...digging all of that grass out and spreading the compost is so labor intensive and then you have to take care of the kids and animals...I just don't know how you do it. Everything is looking so beautiful and then add in the drone footage, it took my breath away. Just stunning! My husband and I were out in the yard for about an hour yesterday and were so tired when we came inside. We are about twice your age, but still, I am hoping we can build up our endurance! Thank you so much for sharing all of this with us. You are truly inspiring, even to us oldies!!

Does anyone one else think that a Child size fairy garden would be so precious. I don't even know if this type of thing exists. Just popped into my melon.

Have to say, the drone shot following up the path to the front door was amazing. That massive expanse of grass, with the lovely brickwork pathway is already giving your home such a grand estate feeling. It really does make the front of the house look like the front. Can't wait to see how it all changes and improves over the years!

That's a beautiful video. With the drone shots I was now actually able to see how the path way now leads into and opens up to the new land . Can see the huge expanse of green playground for the children.
Absolutely loving to see the transformation and ideas taking shape.
Waiting for a drone shot of the entire land👍

WOW WOW WOW!!!!! What a difference the cut edges and fresh compost makes! It’s amazing how different the property looks now compared to just this spring.
Do you ever just take a good look around and really take it all in? I’m always amazed to think how those tiny seedlings and nursery cans you planted in the ground have developed into these majestic gardens. That’s really something special.

Even though you had equipment like a tractor you never cease to amaze me with how much you get done in a day! It would have took my husband and I 2-3 days just to do the 1 3 foot wide strip along the sidewalk!

So very exciting to see such big changes by simply edging and spreading compost. My husband said, "oh now Paula will be out there widening our flower beds." Not a bad idea.😄 Thanks for inspiring all of us to use even just a hint of your ideas in our own spaces.
