The chandelier is very similar to the one I have in my potting shed. My dad picked mine up when he was at a garage sale and gifted it to me. He’s been gone three years now and it’s so very special to me.
I love it when mom gets so tickled she can’t stop.. she got a true belly laugh from “get the lead out.” 🤣 She is looking good too ! She is so relaxed and herself in front of the camera and I know we are all grateful to be able to see and enjoy her delightful-ness 👑

The plastic Santa is a “blow mold” and are quite collectible… and that one is HUGE so I can see why it is $550! Thanks again for letting us vicariously antique shop as it’s fun to see what other areas of the country have in antique shops.

I used to work in Marketing for a big national retailer. I told the buyer we try to avoid that term "blow mold" because it sounds awful. I can't believe those tacky things are now collectible.
I like the Halloween Blow Molds better then the Christmas... Something kooky creepy how they glow in orange! Always fun!
Super collectable. That price is dead on. I would not buy it. But you’d be surprised… there are collectors out there that would scoop him up in a heartbeat.
I learned the hard way, I don't regret selling for $30.00 a nativity set to friends this past winter, but was blown away when I researched and found the angel alone was worth $1200.00.

I gave away all my outdoor Halloween decor to my niece-in-law a couple years ago, including the blow mold stuff.
The older I get the less stuff I want to hang onto. (Note to Laura.)

Who will never look at a parking lot the same again? We won't!!! I do notice the trees and the colours but I don't say much because most people don't even see them... Your mother is such a jewel. Her soft spoken, calm way is just beautiful. The easy way you both laugh and play is a joy. It makes me miss my Mum so much.

I recognize St. Al’s. I worked there for 17 years as a nurse. I also had back surgery there twice. Your mom has been in good hands.I love seeing tours around Boise especially this time of year! Makes me so homesick, though.
I have commented a few times asking why you don’t have burning bushes. They are so spectacular in the fall. Maybe it’s because they are more of a “one season” extravaganza.

My mom’s name was Katherine. She was a special woman. And like you I miss her terribly, especially around the holidays. Even the toilet seat was decorated for Christmas! And the village she would put up….Everyone sooo loved it. Oh and the cookie tree. Thank you all for sharing.

Ok, I just watched it again because I always watch 2 times, can’t help it but my all-time favorite moment is when Laura turns the camera on herself as if to say “what??!” I literally laughed so loud. That face you made Laura was priceless and one I’ve made at my mother probably a million times 🤣😂😂♥️♥️
I have always enjoyed watching your antiquing trips with your mom, and have commented many times that my best friend and I love to go, too. Today’s video was bittersweet for me, because my friend passed away September 22nd, from Covid, just three days after her husband of 33 years, passed, also from Covid. She and I have been friends for over 3 years. There are so many things I will miss about my friend, but those day trips where we went antiquing, will be what I miss most. We always had so much fun, giggling and adoring all of the pretty things, just like you and your mom do. Just spending time with her was such a treasure, and she just “knew” my style, so she was also an enabler! Thank you for taking us along for these trips, because they will help keep my memories of our trips alive.
When my kids were younger, I would pick up hats, vintage clothes and wigs for them to do dress up. The kids loved it. It was so much fun.

She passed away two years ago but I will always have the precious memories of spending time with her, her laughter and the love she had for her family. When my daughter lived in Eagle we went to Rembrandt’s several times for coffee. You and mothers relationship reminds me of mine and my daughter. My daughter now lives in Utah and I don’t get to see her often and I miss her dearly.

As a historical seamstress, my eyes went immediately to the Gibson Girl picture as well as to a blue quilt folded on a table. I almost drooled 😂. But then I also saw a couple of pieces that were perfect for unattached cabinets in a kitchen!! Oh my goodness, but they were fantastic! I could get to Boise in a long driving day. Rent a Uhaul trailer. In my dreams 😂 But I always relish your antiquing trips ❤. So glad that your Mom is successfully on the mend. Much to be grateful for.
