Thank you so much. Can you please say something about the c- section delivery over there?
Most doctors practicing here incline towards natural delivery and opt for c-section delivery only if they identify any complication as such. If you are on health card, then the expenses get covered and we won't have to pay even if it is normal delivery or c-section.

I have one doubt. Canada ITA kittunna time il primary applicant pregnant anenkil, enthenkilum problem undo?
No problem as such. But post delivery you might want to update your PR file with details of the baby (incase baby is born in India). We really cannot predict the time taken between receiving ITA and receiving CoPR. But it is good to know that if the baby is born in Canada, he/she becomes citizen of Canada.
Can we have elective c-section ? Is it free of cost? Plz reply ...

Yes possible aanu. Am sure there are people who have done this. Some PNP require us to have a job offer before hand. AIPP program also requires us to have job offer. So yep, there are people who manage to get a job before migrating. Makes the life here so much easier for sure!

Coaching centre-ilu poyi padikkaan samayavum undaayirunnilla kaashum undaayirunnilla. 😄But we managed to get an overall IELTS score of 8 and CLB 10. We would love to do a video on how we prepared, our experience and strategies we used to get the maximum score in our very first attempt. Thank you for suggesting Ansu!

2. Without health card can we go to govt hospital .
3. How was the expenses in private hospital .
4. When we reach canada with 4-5 months pregnancy where we will consult becoz it 3 months to get health card so during the 3 months we need to go to private hospital and after getting health card get back to govt hospital ?

Yep. Children born here are automatically Canadian citizens. However please make sure you have health card or health benefits being covered. Some companies provide health insurance for students who are on work permit. Some colleges include health insurance as part of their fee. Make sure you are covered in some way. Otherwise medical bills will be over the roof!

We feel terrible knowing that you had to go through a rough experience. It is true that we cannot meet specialized doctors directly and the waiting period could also be many months for some specialities. Luckily, we had a good experience and safe delivery in our first (Kerala) and second delivery (Canada) 🙂.

A 15 minutes casual check up with the doc costs us 100$ in 2019. We were not well informed of our options (midwife) then and remember the startle when we had to pay 100$ for a check up in which, doc and us were just getting to know each other. Prenatal ultra sound costs between $300 - $500. Birth and delivery in hospital costs somewhere between $5000 - $9000. Caesarean can go upto $20000. Additional expense if baby has to be taken to NICU and if we have any other complications. Yeah, its not a rosy picture if we have to avail medical here, without PR/Citizenship.
