Hi guys! Thank you for the wonderful information covered in the video. At what age did you start sending your son to the day care? How has your experience been. I am planning to start sending my infant daughter to day care in Toronto.
Our daughter started going to daycare when she was 1.5 years and our son started when he was 9 months. We know a family who sent their 2 weeks old child to daycare as the mom was studying in a college here. We also know another mom who stayed back from work for 4 years as they did not prefer their child to be sent elsewhere. Nammude person to person situation anusarichu choose cheyukayaanu nallathu. It is a difficult decision for a mom especially, we all want the best for our child and we totally understand the concerns you would have.❤️ Our kids love their daycare and we do too!

It is good to cross check with that particular city/provinces' portal. We know for sure that Toronto in Ontario allows child care subsidy even if parents are on student visa. Many of our friends have received it.

How safe are these day care centers? is there a way to monitor ? How do we ensure that they are safe? (You know being a mother when you have never been away from the baby it creates some anxiety in you🤷) also how long can they stay there? I have a baby who is 1.10 months old & planning to come to Canada
Totally relatable! We had the same feeling in our initial days. Sadly, there is no way to monitor (no live cameras or anything), but some daycare sends us pictures of our kids enjoying their day and their activities. Most daycares have very transparent communications maintained. Me as a mom, then trained myself to let go 😭.

Unregulated day care subsidy eligible anoo?? Usually unregulated will be a casual one … so how it will consider??

Yes, absolutely! In that case, you would be on student visa and your spouse on work permit right? The only condition would be your spouse should be either working or studying. Another thing good to know would be, there is something else called as Child Care Benefit (CCB) which is a monthly amount government gives for the children. So if you are on student visa you might not get the Child Care Benefit until you complete 1 - 1.5 years in Canada. But you will be absolutely eligible to get the child care subsidy, explained in this video.

They could if they have a valid visa,they would just need the ticket. But currently flights from India and Pakistan are banned from entering Canada (Covid situation in India and new variants identified are the reason).

Handling an infant becomes so much easier with your parents. Just look out for airline updates and Canada travel rules. Hopefully by august we have fights from India land here.

We have been having our kids at home continually for many weeks since they had to quarantine after Covid cases being reported, one after another, in their daycare. Yes, you still would be eligible to get subsidy. Parents need to be either working or studying, in your case - you fall into the latter!
Those under student visa might not get 'Child Care Benefit' for the first year - it is a monthly amount government gives for the child. But you will get child care subsidy even if you are on student visa.

We know few who received subsidy in Toronto during student visa status. Perhaps you would have noticed Canada Child Care Benefit (CCB) in the portal? CCB is a monthly amount you receive for the upbringing of kids. We would be eligible for CCB only if we are PR/Citizen status. CCB is different from daycare subsidy.

All consultants will have an IRCC Unique ID. Migration agencies can only submit paper works for you. They won't have an IRCC ID. But consultants do. Every migration agency will have a consultant representing them. Mostly those consultants will be in Canada.
