How to Make Rocking Chair Cushions

I have a lovely, old rocking chair in my sewing room, but it needed some softness. So I made up a set of cushions from garage sale fabric.

Thanks for sharing. Definitely going to try this! A little confused on the buttons, are both sides just flat buttons with the holes in them? Also, what if I wanted to add ties to hold the cushions to the chair. Would I just be able to sew that into the cushion part when putting it together? Have never quite made anything this intricate yet as I’m still learning!
