What I fail to understand is not the concept of the build used to skyrocket a specific type of damage, but the OVERALL amount of damage they all do with whatever attack/ability they use, and the speed at which the stagger builds. Sometimes I really get the feeling I'm playing a different game.

many of the vids i watched require high skill level with block/parry and learning the mechanics, this is just an impressive build that i think is so achievable!
Target Titan first, the Tifa dive kick strat still works well without that specific setup. Have Yuffie draw aggro at the start of vs Odin/Alex so Aerith can drop ATB ward at the start, RE my new post.@@djricekcn
A brief video showing materia / gear would be nice. I understand the rotation and what youre doing. But not everything is clear. Are you using mp absord on both fire and ice and wind and lightning materia? Are you using elemental on all 3? If so are they all linked wirh fire? Specifics man specifics !
You get mad props from me friend, I have been agonizing over this fight for several days now. I tried my builds, it tried Aerith limit looping, I tried tifa dropkicks, but feeding aerith atb with your method and nuking them all finally, finally got me through. And I didn't forget to assess so I never have to go in that hell pit ever again.
What's the part about the assess, is there some sort of trophy/playlog thing for assessing every enemy? Does this sephiroth count as a different version than the boss battle?

So basically Burmal Form spamming to with haste and ATB Ward and ATB Assist materia yo ensure you always have full ATB bars to spam spells. You have either MP absorb or Magic Efficiency to ensure you never run out of MP during the fight. Gotterdamerung to finish enemies quickly as well.
The issue with this is you get Gotterdamerung beating this on Brutal. So if you are planning to do this strategy for the first time without having beaten the Challenge the limit break strategy is pretty much voided.
Tried your build bro and just adjusted some of them as I don't have the Gotterdamnerung. What I modified are the following: 1. My Tifa had Chocokings Cape to cast Haste immediately at the start round. Yuffie carries Speed Demon Key Chain instead for the comfort spam of Brumal form (I get haste from Tifa). Genji Gloves for Aerith. This will help a lot in Gilgamesh fight and Sephiroth for the Firaga spam. 2. Since I suck at parries and rarely land them, I swapped both Precision Defense Focus Materia and steadfast block for Elemental + Fire for easy 1st round. I replaced Tifa's enemy skill with Revive as well. Elemental + Fire will also help in Sephiroth when he changes affinities. 3. My Yuffie has Magnify + Barrier Materia as I find her the one who can consistently cast it based on my playstyle.I only used it for Gilgamesh and Sephiroth fight 4. For Sephiroth fight, If 2 of your characters are already chained and feel like you can't parry it, immediately cast Barrier + Magnify instead and don't try to dodge the last chain as your barrier may wore out before octaslash but make sure you did the math to tank it. If Yuffie is your last one to be chained, try to spam brumal form in the ATB ward to have Aerith and Tifa double cast pray after the Octaslash. Another thing is that if you think that Sephiroth is targeting the farthest character in your team from him, you can evade it by rolling away further and no need to try the parry. 5. I always spread my characters before the start of each round. I also find it more manageable if both wards are faraway from each other. 6. I only mapped brumal form in my quick cast for yuffie. I tend to fat finger other skills during my early attempts and that fixed it. xD 7. I didn't use skill shortcuts for Tifa and Aerith, I abused the 'Tactical mode slowdown' to think and make sure Im using the right skill. 8. The dude who made this guide is legend, it is true that this build is indeed very flexible. Of all the guides, this is the only one I managed to beat this mission. You're a rockstar!!! Does Speed Demon Keychain works? Because it says Weapon ability and brumal form is not really a weapon ability. This is an ability she got from the beginning and is not on one of our weapons :)?
@@maxees4832 I tried it first in the titan summon to see if it works and it seems it does. my Yuffie does not drain that much of atb than in his video infact she's always full atb hopping in the ward all of the time.
@@maxees4832 Brumal Form is learned from the Boomerang in Intergrade Intermission. It makes sense for abilities originally learned from weapons which are carried over but not associated with a weapon in Rebirth (like Braver and Triple Slash) to count as weapon abilities.
he is using the materia that recharges friend atb bar after 2 consecutives ATB uses with yuffie, spaming the dodge attack that gives you 1 free atb bar, with haste and the aertih aura that also boost atb charge. So basically he have "infinite" atb one aerith and tifa. Tifa has the higher damage output in the game. Cant tell what other synergys he is using on tifa and aerith tho.

to go along with what @milikitito said: Yuffie is spamming Brummel to get ATB refunds which then in turn due to materia give ATB to the other charatcers. To speed this up yuffie stays on the ATB Ward cast by Aerith. Aerith also casts arcane ward which makes her double cast spells hence why he can achieve the stagger so quickly. And Tifa is there for haste/pray/limit break shenanigans when needed. This is pretty ingenious. It doesn't seem like there are many other necessary materia (besides the elemental spells, limit siphon etc)

This build is damn good but it can go south instantly with no way to recover depending on the RNG of what the bosses decide to use along with their positioning, being able to stop phoenix from rebirth flaming can be very hit and miss, If Gilgamesh decides to hit Yuffie with Stop it's GG as well. It's one of those where you can just keep banging your head against the wall with it until it works, at some point you will win and it's only a 5 rounder too so quick retries.
And I thought I was smart using disorder with ATB ward, you took it to Ultra instinct with brumal form. I’m wondering if doppelgänger would also give even more ATB to allies in ward. Also, well done man this is what I like to see in the FF7 community. Smart ways to become powerful. Between this and limit break infinite spam I’m loving rebirth way more than remake. Incredibly fun redoing the challenges too.

Also at the start of the vs Odin/Alex, Gil and Seph rounds, have Yuffie run off to one side to draw aggro so Aerith can drop ATB ward - if she gets hit out of that at the start it can ruin the whole run. The first few seconds (including menu slow down) are essential. I've still not finished this yet as it's ridiculously hard still and I may just run through hard to get the Genji Gloves (I also took a look at the last two legendary challenges ). These challenges need a checkpoint because they're a massive time sink. I've SSS DMC and other such games but when you get reset after 30 min to an hour it's just wasting your time. Think of people with RSI, and jobs lol. This game is stellar for all SE are throwing out there but throw out checkpoints on time sink challenges please.
So messing around this build I found out something strange. When I used an atb focus synergy skill to give yuffie 3 atb using the skill to dodge and build allies atb well it consumes 0 atb while you have 3 bars. So it allowed me to constantly build it up.

Dude, you are a fucking god. I just couldnt do it. I'm no good at parrying. I chose a variant with Barret instead of Tifa, making him use lifesaver to soak up as much damage as possible and gave magnify + protect on yuffie so that i could cast it at the start of sephiroth's fight. The rest, as some mentioned, I gave Genji gloves to Aerith. She was doing like 20k per hit. Insane. Now on to the next challenges. Oh lord...
Damn what a strat. I’ve watched a few different guide videos on this fight and this seems by far the easiest. It’s giving me hope I can maybe actually beat hard mode. Just a little though
Can someone explain this to me what he is doing? I can't get the ATB Bars to fill up that quick. It just keeps depleting on Yuffie when I'm spamming that dodge and not refilling cause she's not actually dodging. Also, not sure what he is doing with the other two characters to get their ATB bars filled besides the Skill Master materia is being involved, but not sure what are the "three different moves" he is doing. this is with slowing down the movie to .25
Thanks, someone told me else where, but I still can't get this done. I had no issues with Brutal 1~5 but this is just beyond me I guess. I can't get past this at all and don't think it's within my skill range. Will never get that accessory I think TwT
@@djricekcn biggest tip i think i can give is to make sure the boss commits to an animation against someone else before trying to put down the atb ward, but if you have aerith as the party leader she can pretty consistently get it down first move against sephiroth. also bring barrier+all and cure+all to make sure you can survive octaslash if this is your first clear
Sometimes burmal form just wont build ATB randomly when on ATB ward. Cant figure out why. Most of the time it does. Other times yuffies atb will just drain and ill be forced to start hitting stuff to get a bar to keep it going and thats when i start dying
i believe i only had true strike and focused strike set, not sure if it was all that useful but i do like the one that lets her use her triangle moves so she can do work while i'm on yuffie
@@AlexTeo it works, far from the most broken thing you can do though the build up is pretty slow and if you've already got yuffie in the atb ward the rest of the party is probably already destroying everything

I noticed tifas limit pretty much stun locked seph stopping BS shadow chains lomg enough for aerith to get his health down. Edit: i have been getting to round 5 with my OP tifa and aerith limit loop party using barret lifesaver for speedy kills but seph tears through my team and im lucky just get through gilgamesh tbh. I actually gotterdamerung for this setup to work effectively
yep gotterdammerung doesn't matter too much for this, i used a similar build for my first clear, like manuelito said you can also precision block shadowy chains or tank it safely if you have manawall active and everyone is near full health if he gets you with it before you can loop him with aerith's magic
@@9Sess i rarely get precision block on shadowy chain so if this method doesnt work im just packing in all together. Tbh its just not a fun fight, its full of cheap mechanics i think devs need to dial back on.
Tifa has the highest damage in the game, but you can't wear gotterdammerung and EEM (Enhanced Expeditionary Medal) at the same time. Better to give tifa her level 3 limit from the start and use limit siphon to steal gauge as needed from other characters. Kinda surprised he isn't using Genji gloves on anyone to break damage limit. I saw him casting haste, so the hermes shoes could be replaced. Give Yuffie the GD and give Aerith Genji Gloves so her magic can exceed 9999 per hit.
indeed, limit siphon isn't necessary it just lets tifa do more damage, and helps get sephiroth into a stunlock since you'll have extra time to set up while tifa beats him senseless
Managed to beat the challenge 2nd try after a few tweaks. Give Yuffie Limit Support Materia and Transfer Module. Tifa should get Enhanced Expeditionary Medal. Aerith Genji. With this your Limit on Tifa and Aerith skyrockets and you'll always have Tifas Lvl 3 LB. Lifesaver: Revival Materia on Tifa and Yuffie. Barrier with magnify on Aerith.
i do nothing in particular sometimes they just have it out for you real bad, always make sure they're in an animation or doing something else before casting atb ward on aerith at the start though since it can get ugly if you don't get it down quick and your atb is empty

Dumps constant ATB into Tifa & Aerith while keeping Yuffie invulnerable. Probably some other facets that feed ATB back to Yuffie too.

Fixed: I added fire elemental defence to everyone, which makes the loop way easier, prayer on tifa is essential and everyone needs revive for when the RNG isn't playing. Your build is awesome btw, thank you.
Also im guno turn off game updates cos i see devs nerfing stuff and i want my gotterdamerung before that happens. I firgot to mention i did this at party level 7 with awrith weapon lvl 7 and the rest weapon level 8 since im impatient
Is it a bug? When Brumal Form is used on Atb ward, the ATB charge effect is activated even if it used in the air. You don't have to dodge the enemy's attacks.
more of an oversight, gaining ATB in any form while in the ATB ward transfers it to your teammates. it's working as intended, just stronger than they ever imagined i'd bet
@@9Sess I meant how to gain ATB with Brumal Form? The tooltip of Brumal Form explains “when dodge an enemy’s attack, gain ATB” But in reality you don’t need to dodge. Maybe Brumal Form returns some ATB even if it used in the air without dodge. But there is no explanation for it.
@@9Sess "it does build ATB even if you don't actually dodge an attack". yeah, it is my point. There is no explanation about it in this game. It seems like, because the Brumal form skill coding returns 3/4 after using 1 ATB.
@@SteveJobs_ same deal with disorder, many abilities work that way. why would it need to tell you that when you could go into a battle and try it once and you'd know? it should be expected that you'd want to experiment with all of your abilities and see if you can combine them in clever ways
What is it that gives you multiple Limit Break charges on Tifa? I haven't been able to find that anywhere online. Or is it not multiple Limit charges but is it raised to level 3 automatically? Whatever it is, what is that item?

So, I'm still stuck on this challenge. Are you supposed to keep using Yuffie, spamming Brumal Form to draw aggro as the AI just keeps taking out my team mates once I get to Gilgamesh.
it shouldn't draw agro too much since she isn't actually attacking, are you bringing barrier+all and cure+all for extra survivability and making sure he's locked in an attack on someone else before putting down your ATB ward?
This is insane. I can’t get past Round 4. Beat Gilgamesh once, out of sheer luck. But I think I’m giving up on this plat. Shame, too, as this is one of the last things I have to do, other than finish chapters 12, 13 and 14 on hard. Just don’t think I have the skill level required for this fight. Gilgamesh is a ridiculous difficulty spike. 😆
i think genji glove is much better. aerith can be used with limit siphon and the accessory that gives her fury brand immediately to get infinite limit breaks in a sense, but a setup like this or my 2:34 video is much more broken
@@chrisbruns5003 you're welcome! the limit isn't required, it's just to keep him in place if he starts flying around and which allows me to cast ice3 as soon as possible. if you're going for a first clear i'd advise you bring barrier+all and cure+all for more survivability especially against octaslash, but you could also use manaward before rebirth flame just in case you don't end up killing him before he uses it
I don't understand how the atb for yuffie stays up. Sure theres an atb ward, but wouldnt any brumal form that isnt actually avoiding damage still cost half an atb?
What I learn is that the weapon that refunds 10% atb for any skill Yuffie uses helps increase the atb instead of losing small portion of it. But it's also important to cast haste as well. But I also using the Speedster accessory you get from Roche.

@@lorddrex8899 mb i missed your reply earlier, make sure yoy put on barrier + all and cure + all for better survivability, especially in the sephiroth fight, make sure you cast wall immediately so that you can survive the first octaslash, and make sure to reapply it whenever you need. bring prayer on cloud too for consistent heals throughout the fight while aerith deals damage, luck up should be the first to go but you can take off whatever you see fit to give youreelf better survivability

I did it i beat it, it was so clutch but i used barrat lifesaver, aerith for manawall/heals/limit loop, and tifa was damage/heals. I perfect blocked three of sephs chains but had to interrupt him with synergy combos to and i somehow staggered him to brute force past BS first phase with tifa. Rest was a cake walk with fire absorb materia and aerith limit loop. Please tell me this is the hardest BS challenge in the game 😭

I doubt this would be something that patch out, this doesn't seem like the type of game they would do it. Honestly a broken setup up like this is par for the course for a ff7, the absolute absurdity that people came up with that games materia combos is just as silly.
@@ninjapandas8334 there's definitely a good chance they just leave it in, i'm not sure if they've even done balance patches aside from the changes to the ps5 version of remake. i also love the crazy builds you can make but i wish this one in particular didn't completely overshadow every other way to use ATB ward. it makes the rest of the game too much of a cakewalk for such little setup

Would these be the ones you replaces if you were to put cure+magnify? 2. With auto weapon ability on Tifa, what are your weapon ability shortcuts that you're having her auto use? Focus strike/Dive kick? 3. Is M.Atk up on weapon skill for Tifa just for the extra prayer healing? Lastly I saw you comment somewhere you got Genji gloves on Aerith now, do you find yourself taking barrier/more healing now that you don't have LB right out of the gate? Anything else you'd change? Thanks again for the video, this is the most absolutely cracked build I've seen so far. I still have a ways to go before trying these fights, I'm about to start hard mode and level up some more materia/get genji items before starting these.
Brumal does nothing! It drains the ATP & everyone gets wrecked so fast. I made it to Gilgamesh with my own styles and characters but with this I can't even make it past the first round. This makes it way harder it's the opposite of cheese
does yuffie have haste active and speed up materia on? once you get the ATB ward down you should be able to cast spells continuously with the rest of your party. ATB boost and the weapon skill that grants 5% ATB recovery when you use a weapon ability wouldn't go to waste either

What I fail to understand is not the concept of the build used to skyrocket a specific type of damage, but the OVERALL amount of damage they all do with whatever attack/ability they use, and the speed at which the stagger builds. Sometimes I really get the feeling I'm playing a different game.
Stagger buildup isn't based on damage. It's your attack's stagger rate x target's stagger modifiers. Also, pressure rate is a different calculation.

everything else is easy except the sephiroth part, just so hard to counter shadowy chains.
A brief video showing materia / gear would be nice. I understand the rotation and what youre doing. But not everything is clear. Are you using mp absord on both fire and ice and wind and lightning materia? Are you using elemental on all 3? If so are they all linked wirh fire? Specifics man specifics !
MP absorb on aerith firaga and tifa firaga for sure and using brutal form to boost everyone’s atb with the atb ward.
You get mad props from me friend, I have been agonizing over this fight for several days now. I tried my builds, it tried Aerith limit looping, I tried tifa dropkicks, but feeding aerith atb with your method and nuking them all finally, finally got me through. And I didn't forget to assess so I never have to go in that hell pit ever again.
What's the part about the assess, is there some sort of trophy/playlog thing for assessing every enemy? Does this sephiroth count as a different version than the boss battle?

So basically Burmal Form spamming to with haste and ATB Ward and ATB Assist materia yo ensure you always have full ATB bars to spam spells. You have either MP absorb or Magic Efficiency to ensure you never run out of MP during the fight. Gotterdamerung to finish enemies quickly as well.
The issue with this is you get Gotterdamerung beating this on Brutal. So if you are planning to do this strategy for the first time without having beaten the Challenge the limit break strategy is pretty much voided.

Tried your build bro and just adjusted some of them as I don't have the Gotterdamnerung.
What I modified are the following:
1. My Tifa had Chocokings Cape to cast Haste immediately at the start round. Yuffie carries Speed Demon Key Chain instead for the comfort spam of Brumal form (I get haste from Tifa). Genji Gloves for Aerith. This will help a lot in Gilgamesh fight and Sephiroth for the Firaga spam.
2. Since I suck at parries and rarely land them, I swapped both Precision Defense Focus Materia and steadfast block for Elemental + Fire for easy 1st round. I replaced Tifa's enemy skill with Revive as well. Elemental + Fire will also help in Sephiroth when he changes affinities.
3. My Yuffie has Magnify + Barrier Materia as I find her the one who can consistently cast it based on my playstyle.I only used it for Gilgamesh and Sephiroth fight
4. For Sephiroth fight, If 2 of your characters are already chained and feel like you can't parry it, immediately cast Barrier + Magnify instead and don't try to dodge the last chain as your barrier may wore out before octaslash but make sure you did the math to tank it. If Yuffie is your last one to be chained, try to spam brumal form in the ATB ward to have Aerith and Tifa double cast pray after the Octaslash. Another thing is that if you think that Sephiroth is targeting the farthest character in your team from him, you can evade it by rolling away further and no need to try the parry.
5. I always spread my characters before the start of each round. I also find it more manageable if both wards are faraway from each other.
6. I only mapped brumal form in my quick cast for yuffie. I tend to fat finger other skills during my early attempts and that fixed it. xD
7. I didn't use skill shortcuts for Tifa and Aerith, I abused the 'Tactical mode slowdown' to think and make sure Im using the right skill.
8. The dude who made this guide is legend, it is true that this build is indeed very flexible.
Of all the guides, this is the only one I managed to beat this mission. You're a rockstar!!!

Does Speed Demon Keychain works? Because it says Weapon ability and brumal form is not really a weapon ability. This is an ability she got from the beginning and is not on one of our weapons :)?
@@maxees4832 I tried it first in the titan summon to see if it works and it seems it does. my Yuffie does not drain that much of atb than in his video infact she's always full atb hopping in the ward all of the time.
I believe abilities that is not from materia works wonders with Speed Demon Key Chain. let me know if you tried it.
@@maxees4832 Brumal Form is learned from the Boomerang in Intergrade Intermission. It makes sense for abilities originally learned from weapons which are carried over but not associated with a weapon in Rebirth (like Braver and Triple Slash) to count as weapon abilities.

he is using the materia that recharges friend atb bar after 2 consecutives ATB uses with yuffie, spaming the dodge attack that gives you 1 free atb bar, with haste and the aertih aura that also boost atb charge. So basically he have "infinite" atb one aerith and tifa. Tifa has the higher damage output in the game.
Cant tell what other synergys he is using on tifa and aerith tho.

to go along with what @milikitito said: Yuffie is spamming Brummel to get ATB refunds which then in turn due to materia give ATB to the other charatcers. To speed this up yuffie stays on the ATB Ward cast by Aerith. Aerith also casts arcane ward which makes her double cast spells hence why he can achieve the stagger so quickly. And Tifa is there for haste/pray/limit break shenanigans when needed. This is pretty ingenious. It doesn't seem like there are many other necessary materia (besides the elemental spells, limit siphon etc)

This build is damn good but it can go south instantly with no way to recover depending on the RNG of what the bosses decide to use along with their positioning, being able to stop phoenix from rebirth flaming can be very hit and miss, If Gilgamesh decides to hit Yuffie with Stop it's GG as well.
It's one of those where you can just keep banging your head against the wall with it until it works, at some point you will win and it's only a 5 rounder too so quick retries.
This - it's pure RNG and I'm still stuck.

And I thought I was smart using disorder with ATB ward, you took it to Ultra instinct with brumal form. I’m wondering if doppelgänger would also give even more ATB to allies in ward. Also, well done man this is what I like to see in the FF7 community. Smart ways to become powerful. Between this and limit break infinite spam I’m loving rebirth way more than remake. Incredibly fun redoing the challenges too.

Also at the start of the vs Odin/Alex, Gil and Seph rounds, have Yuffie run off to one side to draw aggro so Aerith can drop ATB ward - if she gets hit out of that at the start it can ruin the whole run. The first few seconds (including menu slow down) are essential. I've still not finished this yet as it's ridiculously hard still and I may just run through hard to get the Genji Gloves (I also took a look at the last two legendary challenges ). These challenges need a checkpoint because they're a massive time sink. I've SSS DMC and other such games but when you get reset after 30 min to an hour it's just wasting your time. Think of people with RSI, and jobs lol.
This game is stellar for all SE are throwing out there but throw out checkpoints on time sink challenges please.
So messing around this build I found out something strange. When I used an atb focus synergy skill to give yuffie 3 atb using the skill to dodge and build allies atb well it consumes 0 atb while you have 3 bars. So it allowed me to constantly build it up.
Damn, that's super super fast and efficient menuing lol.

I chose a variant with Barret instead of Tifa, making him use lifesaver to soak up as much damage as possible and gave magnify + protect on yuffie so that i could cast it at the start of sephiroth's fight.
The rest, as some mentioned, I gave Genji gloves to Aerith. She was doing like 20k per hit. Insane.
Now on to the next challenges. Oh lord...

Can someone explain this to me what he is doing? I can't get the ATB Bars to fill up that quick. It just keeps depleting on Yuffie when I'm spamming that dodge and not refilling cause she's not actually dodging. Also, not sure what he is doing with the other two characters to get their ATB bars filled besides the Skill Master materia is being involved, but not sure what are the "three different moves" he is doing. this is with slowing down the movie to .25
ATB Assist, Haste from Hermes Shoes (reapplies with Tifa when it runs out), and do the brumal form inside the ATB ward
Thanks, someone told me else where, but I still can't get this done. I had no issues with Brutal 1~5 but this is just beyond me I guess. I can't get past this at all and don't think it's within my skill range. Will never get that accessory I think TwT
@@djricekcn biggest tip i think i can give is to make sure the boss commits to an animation against someone else before trying to put down the atb ward, but if you have aerith as the party leader she can pretty consistently get it down first move against sephiroth. also bring barrier+all and cure+all to make sure you can survive octaslash if this is your first clear
Sometimes burmal form just wont build ATB randomly when on ATB ward. Cant figure out why. Most of the time it does. Other times yuffies atb will just drain and ill be forced to start hitting stuff to get a bar to keep it going and thats when i start dying

i believe i only had true strike and focused strike set, not sure if it was all that useful but i do like the one that lets her use her triangle moves so she can do work while i'm on yuffie

Edit: i have been getting to round 5 with my OP tifa and aerith limit loop party using barret lifesaver for speedy kills but seph tears through my team and im lucky just get through gilgamesh tbh. I actually gotterdamerung for this setup to work effectively

yep gotterdammerung doesn't matter too much for this, i used a similar build for my first clear, like manuelito said you can also precision block shadowy chains or tank it safely if you have manawall active and everyone is near full health if he gets you with it before you can loop him with aerith's magic

Tifa has the highest damage in the game, but you can't wear gotterdammerung and EEM (Enhanced Expeditionary Medal) at the same time. Better to give tifa her level 3 limit from the start and use limit siphon to steal gauge as needed from other characters. Kinda surprised he isn't using Genji gloves on anyone to break damage limit. I saw him casting haste, so the hermes shoes could be replaced. Give Yuffie the GD and give Aerith Genji Gloves so her magic can exceed 9999 per hit.
indeed, limit siphon isn't necessary it just lets tifa do more damage, and helps get sephiroth into a stunlock since you'll have extra time to set up while tifa beats him senseless

Managed to beat the challenge 2nd try after a few tweaks. Give Yuffie Limit Support Materia and Transfer Module. Tifa should get Enhanced Expeditionary Medal. Aerith Genji. With this your Limit on Tifa and Aerith skyrockets and you'll always have Tifas Lvl 3 LB.
Lifesaver: Revival Materia on Tifa and Yuffie. Barrier with magnify on Aerith.
How do you get the enemies to not agro you immediately? I feel like the success of my runs are determined by how much they go for Yuffie.
i do nothing in particular sometimes they just have it out for you real bad, always make sure they're in an animation or doing something else before casting atb ward on aerith at the start though since it can get ugly if you don't get it down quick and your atb is empty

Fixed: I added fire elemental defence to everyone, which makes the loop way easier, prayer on tifa is essential and everyone needs revive for when the RNG isn't playing. Your build is awesome btw, thank you.

Is it a bug? When Brumal Form is used on Atb ward, the ATB charge effect is activated even if it used in the air. You don't have to dodge the enemy's attacks.
more of an oversight, gaining ATB in any form while in the ATB ward transfers it to your teammates. it's working as intended, just stronger than they ever imagined i'd bet
@@9Sess I meant how to gain ATB with Brumal Form? The tooltip of Brumal Form explains “when dodge an enemy’s attack, gain ATB” But in reality you don’t need to dodge. Maybe Brumal Form returns some ATB even if it used in the air without dodge. But there is no explanation for it.

What is it that gives you multiple Limit Break charges on Tifa? I haven't been able to find that anywhere online. Or is it not multiple Limit charges but is it raised to level 3 automatically? Whatever it is, what is that item?
it's the enhanced expeditionary medal and yeah it gives limit level 3 immediately

So, I'm still stuck on this challenge. Are you supposed to keep using Yuffie, spamming Brumal Form to draw aggro as the AI just keeps taking out my team mates once I get to Gilgamesh.
it shouldn't draw agro too much since she isn't actually attacking, are you bringing barrier+all and cure+all for extra survivability and making sure he's locked in an attack on someone else before putting down your ATB ward?

This is insane. I can’t get past Round 4. Beat Gilgamesh once, out of sheer luck. But I think I’m giving up on this plat. Shame, too, as this is one of the last things I have to do, other than finish chapters 12, 13 and 14 on hard. Just don’t think I have the skill level required for this fight. Gilgamesh is a ridiculous difficulty spike. 😆
Is aerith with genji gloves better for this Strategie ? Or with Full Limit at start 🤔?
i think genji glove is much better. aerith can be used with limit siphon and the accessory that gives her fury brand immediately to get infinite limit breaks in a sense, but a setup like this or my 2:34 video is much more broken

@@chrisbruns5003 you're welcome! the limit isn't required, it's just to keep him in place if he starts flying around and which allows me to cast ice3 as soon as possible. if you're going for a first clear i'd advise you bring barrier+all and cure+all for more survivability especially against octaslash, but you could also use manaward before rebirth flame just in case you don't end up killing him before he uses it
I don't understand how the atb for yuffie stays up. Sure theres an atb ward, but wouldnt any brumal form that isnt actually avoiding damage still cost half an atb?
What I learn is that the weapon that refunds 10% atb for any skill Yuffie uses helps increase the atb instead of losing small portion of it. But it's also important to cast haste as well. But I also using the Speedster accessory you get from Roche.
Haste and atb ward from aerith, helps refills other members too

Yup; speed demon keychain, weapon ability atb bonus, atb ward, haste, spam brumal, thats it. Speed materia probably helps, too.

MP Absorption Materia. Fully upgraded it absorbs 0.3% of damage dealt.

you can do the same build with no gotterdammerung and it still works just fine, just bring barrier + all and cure + all materia if you wanna play it safe for sephiroth's part

@@lorddrex8899 mb i missed your reply earlier, make sure yoy put on barrier + all and cure + all for better survivability, especially in the sephiroth fight, make sure you cast wall immediately so that you can survive the first octaslash, and make sure to reapply it whenever you need. bring prayer on cloud too for consistent heals throughout the fight while aerith deals damage, luck up should be the first to go but you can take off whatever you see fit to give youreelf better survivability

The hell is yuffie doing?
I did it i beat it, it was so clutch but i used barrat lifesaver, aerith for manawall/heals/limit loop, and tifa was damage/heals. I perfect blocked three of sephs chains but had to interrupt him with synergy combos to and i somehow staggered him to brute force past BS first phase with tifa. Rest was a cake walk with fire absorb materia and aerith limit loop. Please tell me this is the hardest BS challenge in the game 😭

could be much better, yuffie in the atb ward does most of the work though, i highly recommend genji glove on aerith if you have it

I think she's doing it on Aerith's ATB ward, so when yuffie gains atb, others get it as well.
Feels like the yuffie brumal form / atb ward trick is something they'll patch out. But I really hope they don't, at least not before I get to try it!

I doubt this would be something that patch out, this doesn't seem like the type of game they would do it. Honestly a broken setup up like this is par for the course for a ff7, the absolute absurdity that people came up with that games materia combos is just as silly.
@@ninjapandas8334 there's definitely a good chance they just leave it in, i'm not sure if they've even done balance patches aside from the changes to the ps5 version of remake. i also love the crazy builds you can make but i wish this one in particular didn't completely overshadow every other way to use ATB ward. it makes the rest of the game too much of a cakewalk for such little setup

1. Why the luck up on Yuffie, as you're not really attacking with her. Would these be the ones you replaces if you were to put cure+magnify?
2. With auto weapon ability on Tifa, what are your weapon ability shortcuts that you're having her auto use? Focus strike/Dive kick?
3. Is M.Atk up on weapon skill for Tifa just for the extra prayer healing?
Lastly I saw you comment somewhere you got Genji gloves on Aerith now, do you find yourself taking barrier/more healing now that you don't have LB right out of the gate? Anything else you'd change?
Thanks again for the video, this is the most absolutely cracked build I've seen so far. I still have a ways to go before trying these fights, I'm about to start hard mode and level up some more materia/get genji items before starting these.

Brumal does nothing! It drains the ATP & everyone gets wrecked so fast. I made it to Gilgamesh with my own styles and characters but with this I can't even make it past the first round. This makes it way harder it's the opposite of cheese
does yuffie have haste active and speed up materia on? once you get the ATB ward down you should be able to cast spells continuously with the rest of your party. ATB boost and the weapon skill that grants 5% ATB recovery when you use a weapon ability wouldn't go to waste either
