Excel is comprised is certified HVAC professionals, what he means is that Air Conditioners do not exhaust air from the room you're cooling. The handler does not intake air and dump it outside. The hot air is exhaust from the unit itself. Thanks!

Monster Gardens ok so if your using the same air in the room that’s not efficient it’s like using a single portable ac and the air your using is not coming from outside. It’s coming from inside so your using the cool air you just paid for just to re cool the the machine so basically you’ll be losing efficieny. This was a bad design you should have made it so the machine uses outside air to cool the unit while it’s exhaustin then you can still have a sealed room and fresh cold air not wasted to re cool a unit

Hey Tell, we don't make these units or any air conditioning units for that matter, but the technology here is the same across the board. The uniqueness to Excel is that the freon lines are pre-charged, other than that air is moved in the same fashion as ALL other mini split and conventional air conditioning unit. The goal when operating an A/C is to keep the room the exact temperature your plants prefer and avoid interaction with contaminated outside air that also varies greatly in temperature -- this also requires CO2 injection. Growing in this sealed fashion can be more efficient because you're in complete control of the plant's environment and production is typically greater. Higher overhead yes, but greater production to offset. Thanks for your inquiry!
