      Loving what you're doing, and wish i had the legality to build a high-end grow room like this without worrying about £10000+ worth of grow gear getting taken by the law, as i'm in the UK. I can not believe they won't let people grow a few plants here. It's vile that GW pharmaceuticals basically have a monopoly on medical cannabis in the UK and a fair bit of Europe too.

    Great video.. Love your showing your build process, mistakes and all. the pallet racks is great ideal , strong and cheap. You may regret not spray painting the pvc dark gray later, grow lights are so intense the pvc will still glow inside the lines, a flood and drain setup with a bell syphon would have been way easier to set up. Keep up sending the great videos.. thxs..

      The cuts were not straight nor clean. Also pushing the table against the wall would not allow for a good camera angle. Which is what people don't have a thought process for while watching a video.

    I recommend looking into esphome and homeassistant for your PH controller and other devices. The markup on this branded devices might be an order of magnitude. IMO - The level of integration this platform achieves is more valuable than any support you might get. It even optimizes layers. For example, if you wire your PH probe and peristaltic pump on the same microcontroller, they will work together as a unit without wifi, but also integrate as a unit or individually with any other wifi device.

    UV Light filtration methods only work in a closed system, yes UV light will do "something" its impact on air quality in negligible, and for most part a sales gimmick. I am in Asbestos Abatement work, Air quality is paramount for safety, and in none the systems we use is there ever UV light filtration for air quality, now the work i do is much different than most where air quality is important, however we use same systems in grow houses with exception of the UV light feature, since it is essentially useless.

    Sick setup, you have yourself another subscriber.
    You asked about idea's, my only thought was to add solar pannels to offset power usage you wouldn't even have to worry about batteries just use it as you make it. Also a chap mentioned algae build up inside the lines, I've had this happen in aquarium setups with minimal nutrients but it's very slow. Maybe end caps and a pull through bottle brush between grows to get the bulk of it off.

    Light movers! You could of saved $1000s by using 3 lamps with 3 6ft light movers. The dehumidifier is over kill also, that size is meant for a warehouse grow ($200 one would work for that size room). Use panda(black and white mylar film 6ml) for the floor, you can switch it out when your grow is done or clean it w bleach and reuse saving u money from painting. You'll be calibrating that blue lab monitor all the time. Look at hanna instruments for a better ph, ppm and temp monitor. Hanna has one probe while blue lab has 2 probes that are Extremely fragile.

    • @everythingallin4905
      @everythingallin4905 2 года назад +1

      If that were the way every build would be like that. I don't see any commercial grows using light movers. They move slow and one 4x4 footprint moving 12 feet across 3 quadrants is not gonna produce the same as a light for each quadrant. Light movers are better for vegatative growth.

    • @nikkimathews6577
      @nikkimathews6577 2 года назад

      That's crazy thinking, your plants don't need direct light like that in your small room. Warehouse's don't use light movers because they have higher ceilings and hang the lights higher, they need more lights to get the same par as a small 8ft ceiling grow like your doing. Your going to get white tops on your plants. Your being wasteful with money and electricity.

    • @TerpyHighs
      @TerpyHighs  2 года назад +2

      For you saying the dehumidifier is oversized for the room clearly shows you have never grown anything even half the size of this setup. The dehumidifier is actually undersized and a second one will be added shortly.

    I know this was uploaded in November and it is now January, so you probably wont see this.
    You mentioned wanting rolling beds. Dudddde just put castors on those racks you already built. Castors are cheap and you can weld them on in no time.

      You're correct I can do that. Mention of rolling tables is a hint at potential sponsors.

    You would be fine with just the cross brace no real need to weld a bottom gusset

    Hey man, amazing farm! Could you please tell me why you decided to use small bags for the start of growing? Why didn't you plant into big ones from starting?

    Why using mycorrhizal when you go Hydro (Mineral Feeding)?
    May I'm wrong but as far as i know mycorrhizal is for bio feeding and just wasted money if you feed your plants with minerals
    But anyway realy nice work thumbs up

    Hago lo mismo 10.000€ más barato.
    Demasiada parafernalia para obtener los mismos resultados con tierra,abono de una agropecuaria y un par de ventiladores.
    Muy bonitas instalaciones.

    I know this is an old video, I recently finally put together a 4x8 roll bench for my tent I play and it's a different brand then my others in my room. So question are those active aqua rolling bench stands you connected together? Oh fuck I'm Stoned I just got to it, forgot u built ur own. Lol fire job on the stands! What was total cost to make 6? 8fts? 2 per row at 16'? The rolling bench has been unwrapped not ever opened for about 18+ months . U can connecf to additional 4x8s con is only get in increments of 8ft. Anyways doesn't specify and I'd never guess that not all 4x8 trays fit 4x8 stands. I know smaller trays come in ID and OD, inner diameter and outer. But tray I have I'd really for ebb n flow not low tide for this stand. So they don't seat well and bc of that not level or even pitched in any particular direction. What trays did you end up using how was the fit? Bc I know they make rack trays for vertical grows.

    Awesome series! I have a big question to ask. I see you’re running a TrolMaster pro and aqua. I was wondering if you could make a video going over what you use it for and how it connects and interacts with the equipment in your room. Thank you

      I’m having trouble finding videos going over the TrolMaster and I’m interested in purchasing their products. It gets confusing with all the different sensors they offer and how they connect to the controllers and app.
