      Loving what you're doing, and wish i had the legality to build a high-end grow room like this without worrying about £10000+ worth of grow gear getting taken by the law, as i'm in the UK. I can not believe they won't let people grow a few plants here. It's vile that GW pharmaceuticals basically have a monopoly on medical cannabis in the UK and a fair bit of Europe too.

    The tables you made looked nice! I used emt conduit with the maker pipe connectors and used casters on each table. You can adjust the dimensions fairly easily and gets everything off the floor. And the built in trellis support is pretty nice.

    • @jonosterman2878
      @jonosterman2878 3 года назад +6

      I was gonna talk some shit about the amount of work he put into those, when maker pipe, fast fit, and an assortment of pre fabed rolling benches are out there, relatively affordable. HOWEVER, considering the amount of similar type of work ive put into my own room, thatd make me a big hypocrite. I made my own lift lifts for 6 Kush 2.0s, and built high pressure aero systems, with supplemental air atomized dry fog (dont get me started on the compressed air system i had to build) and did all my own electrical. So I cant really cast aspersions on anyone else for any projects they do.

    • @jonosterman2878
      @jonosterman2878 2 года назад +1

      @@fishfacecrab No, I do not. I switched from rockwool drip to hpa/AAA and am not going back. The aero is much more fun, and outperforms the wool and coco drip systems. It's just a lot easier because I don't have to constantly monitor vwc and ec inside the substrate. And it uses much less water and nutrients than drip, even in a drain to waste set up. I use about half what I did with wool, and I haven't even built my runoff reclaim/reuse system yet, which will drive the water efficiency up even more. The hard part of hpa/AAA is in designing and building the systems, because there's no one around telling you how to scale up without making mistakes. It's easy to run a little tent, but it gets trickier when you move to a full room, or an entire building.
      That's basically what I'm doing now, figuring out how to best scale up to much larger flowering canopies. Most people don't want to mess with it at scale right now (Redbird in WA is the only one doing real high pressure aero and succeeding) because it's usually too much risk for not enough benefit, but water and nutrient scarcity will only increase over time, and it won't be long, maybe a decade or so, before people start switching methods. Especially since retrofitting facilities that run drip won't require much new equipment and won't require any big changes to pre existing MEP systems.

    Make sure to de-burr drill holes in your drain tables before installing the drain fitting - burrs can cause leaks between the table and the gasket. Also, I couldn't see how long you waited to transplant after applying mycorrhizae - just remember that mycorrhizal fungi will die if they don't come into contact with a plant's root within about 6 hours of the mycorrhizae being activated.
    Awesome videos! Keep up the great work.

    Putting those fans under the table has to be one of the smartest ideas I’ve seen someone do. I literally put my booster fans at the bottom of my tent vents. I noticed after do this it pulls a lot more fresh air down to my girls instead going straight to my carbon filter. As most us growers do we like to set our carbon filter and fan at the top of the tent. I noticed after installing my 8in booster fans for fresh air I was only cooling the top of the tent. After moving them to the bottom the air is now forced up through the bottom instead of the top. Thx for the video. Also think about cutting the legs on the table a little shorter so the girls can grow a little taller without having to sacrifice space while lowering the lights.

    How much time did you have in just set up , and don’t you have to incline your benches for better drainage, sweet room wish I had one

      The benches are all slopped towards the wall so they drain evenly.

    Must be nice to afford all of that and have sponsors to help I’ve grown for 20 plus years and never had that luxury like I said must be nice.

    Good to see you living the dream. Making it happen as a plan comes together. All growers who never had a healthy hobby have found a home growing cannabis and you are living the dream. Happy for you...
    Also I just want to point out that in transplanting, mycholrizal fungi is very beneficial for the plants and it is a must. However, when it comes to transplant shock and giving the roots their first leg up. It's the host of microbes or rather bacteria that are also in the mix which contribute to reducing transplant stress. Furthermore to be specific, the roots actually pick up on the presence of those essential bacteria responsible for a healthy rizosphere. It's a shame that soon after the transplant that most of those bacteria have to die. Since they are not in stable or healthy symbiotic relationship with a more natural organic grow system. But the plants get love and you love them and that's all that matters. Good luck in your venture.

      Thank you very much for your feed back really appreciate it. The transplant went flawlessly and have never had such fast growth. This is my first grow in coco and I'll will never go back to promix when growing in this style.

    You don't need 3/4 of that equipment. It's crazy. A suppliers dream customer.

    I have always kept all electricals above table level(water level). The fans below table will become wet when washing down between grows. Dangerous. But I'm guessing you have already changed those out.
