- Here is my pre cruise hotel review of the Hyatt Place hotel in Dania Beach, Florida. This hotel services Port Everglades and is a great option for both cruisers who fly in and cruisers who travel in by car. My wife and I find that these pre-cruise accommodation videos are of great value to us. We live in the mid-west and like to see first hand and have found that one may not always rely on the photos that the hotels provide on their websites. Thank you! Tony.
By chance, I stayed the same night as Tony. I wasn't cruising... just partying in the area with a friend from my Air Force days. When leaving the hotel, I saw Tony sitting in the Lobby area waiting to catch his transportation to the cruise port. I walked up to tell him I was a fan and that my whole family watches his videos. Tony couldn't have been more gracious. He's as genuine in person as he appears on the video.
I'm laughing because it's dark when you come out of the bushes and it's like a stalker horror movie moment. It just made me chuckle.
Or the Wolfman lol..
We stay at that property every time we cruise out of FLL. Nice place. Several places to dine within walking distance.
You scored a great price. We are cruising out of Port Everglades in January and I just priced it and best I can find for our dates is $261.

I like how you lower your voice in the lobby and in the room corridor respecting the other guests.
The one good thing we find about the hotel shuttle to the cruise port is that the hotel driver will know exactly where to drop you for access to the ship's Porter. An Uber driver may not know the exact spot for the ship's Porter or even worse, leave you with a long walk with your bags. Good stuff navigating the brush at night, Tony. Have a good trip.

This was a great video Tony! Trying to find a safe, comfortable and affordable pre-cruise hotel that has a shuttle to the port with restaurants nearby is like finding a needle in a haystack!! I’ll be booking this hotel for sure:). Love your vlogs, cruise news and lives with Jenny B❤️

We will be staying at this same hotel in early January so nice to have a preview of everything around it. Great score on the price, in January everything is double or triple for hotels close to the cruise port.

Rewatching for our upcoming cruise out of Port everglades. ❤️
We stayed there once and my husband asked for a complimentary upgrade. They gave us a 2 bedroom suite. It was very nice and was the size of an apartment. I highly recommend the hotel.

ooh pretty awesome! I love that it's really surrounded by so many places. Not sure if it's within my pre-cruise budget but it did remind me that we might have points at hotels we'd normally ignore and could get a good discount! Tony always looking out for my wallet!

It's a studio. I just stayed there before my cruise. It was pretty nice. There are places to eat pretty close. I took a lyft to Luggage Outlet so that I could replace the luggage that was damaged by the airline. It's nice for a cruise and go stay.

We stayed here Tony pre cruise a couple years ago. They have a great burger at their restaurant! Had a nice stay!
It was helpful. I have cruised out of Port EverGlades. I think driving the day before and then staying at a good hotel makes a lot of sense. I live in Orlando so about the same long drive.

I knew you could find a place for under $150! Glad you stayed there. I became Hyatt Globalist this year and have been staying at lots of Hyatts. I usually stay at Hyatt Place (there's a brand new one near the port in Canaveral that is VERY nice and usually just over $100). I stayed at a Hyatt Centric in Portland last month. Hyatt House is their extended stay hotel (hence "house"). You made the right decision!

Hotel looks very nice and I love that there are walkable options.
You now qualify to be on my comedy team. Loved your shortcut to the real world from the backyard parking lot. Think all the people now that will be taking that shortcut. LOL!

Love this, Tony. I would book here. The Ramen place looks awesome. I never spend that much on a pre-cruise meal, but I would have to try that beef broth!

Glad you bit the bullet and sprang for the hotel. I was getting worried about you starting a 5-hour drive at 4 in the morning.
At first I thought the Ramen place was just New York prices but $10 for 6 gyoza (and not even shrimp) is pricey even for New York. Glad you liked it.
